Cracker Barrel Macon GA Disappointing

February 13, 2025

Cracker Barrel, Wait time and very rude Hostess. Visited the Macon, Ga diner on Eisenhower Parkway on 2/6/2025. Arrived about 6:45 and the diner was not busy. Walked up to Hostess and I wish I had gotten her name. She was not greeting and said how may, and I replied 6. It is now 7:15 and still waiting and by now a line of 13 people waiting in line to be seated or put how many in party and the hostess is no where to be found. she is wiping off tables. She finally comes back and I said we have been waiting over 30 minutes and tables are empty and all you need to do is put 2 tables together with 2 extra chairs. She swirled around and did that, threw menus down on table, and I said is that our table. she nodded yes. However, as I was going to my table, an elderly woman behind me said are you the one we ask to be seated and this disrepectful hostess said I’m standing here aren’t I and I could not let it go and I turned around and told her she was a very rude person and ask to speak to managment but that never evolved. I will never come back here. If this is the best you can do as a hostess for paying customers, then help is needed. It looks like Cracker Barrel complaints are all up. Corporate Office needs to take a look at this operation.

Cracker Barrel Disappointing Menu Changes

February 4, 2025

Cracker Barrel, Menu changes are terrible. I’ve always loved eating at Cracker Barrel, but my last two experiences have been bad. Having a food allergy, this was the one restaurant that I could order something other than hamburger. Now the items I always order have been removed from the menu. First the Sugar Cured Ham disappeared. This weekend, I found out that the loaded baked sweet potato disappeared. I had to settle for a cheeseburger (no fries because of allergy) while my family enjoyed a good hot meal. They just keep cutting away at the menu. Instead of home cooked meals, it feels more like a fast food place. Everything is fried. I use to drive 30 min just to eat at Cracker Barrel, but now I have no desire to go there.

Cracker Barrel Disappointing Experience

February 3, 2025

Cracker Barrel, Poor Service. I waited patiently for my meal while only four people were in the restaurant. The young lady brought out the first two orders, which was fine. Then she took another person their order and placed mine on a shelf. When I asked if it was mine, she barely acknowledged me and just set it on the counter. This is unacceptable—my money is just as good as anyone else’s. Treat all customers with respect.

Cracker Barrel Richmond VA Wonderful

February 2, 2025

Cracker Barrel, Wonderful! Went to Cracker Barrel Laburnum Ave Richmond Va. Ordered and ate breakfast. When it came time to pay l did not have my wallet. 22 miles from home. After explaining to server and she told the manager. They told me it is okay l do not have to pay. I said l cannot do that. Finally l sent a picture of the bill to a friend and he paid it and left a good tip. Getting old and not being tech savvy is hard. I really appreciated the server and manager for their excellent customer service. 02/02/25

Cracker Barrel Fogelville PA Disappointing

January 26, 2025

Cracker Barrel, Poor/no service. We just left the Fogelsville, PA Cracker Barrel. We were seated in a tight spot between another occupied table and a wall. We sat there for 10 minutes without being approached before we waived down another waitress to ask where our waitress/waiter was. She said she would get someone for us. We sat a bit longer and no one came by our table. We left the establishment without anyone approaching us at all. It was a total disappointment and embarrassing at the same time.
