El Pollo Loco, Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Incorrect Order. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at [Location Name] during my lunch break. The experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. When I arrived, the cashier taking my order was making me wait unnecessarily, which I did patiently. However, she struggled to get my order right, and when I politely asked her to repeat it for accuracy, she became visibly annoyed. Despite this, I proceeded with my order, paid at the window, and checked my receipt. I immediately noticed that one tostada out of the four listed was incorrect. Specifically, one tostada was supposed to have no cheese and no sour cream, but the receipt showed an error. I informed another employee (not the cashier who took my order) that only one tostada should be without cheese and sour cream, not two. I asked if they could add those ingredients to the incorrect tostada. The employee offered to provide the missing ingredients on the side, which I accepted. They handed me the items separately. After receiving my second bag, I realized my extra mango sauce was missing. I asked for it and was prepared to pay, but instead, I was given a hot container of sauce without a lid, loosely placed in an open bag. After some fumbling, they managed to find a lid and covered it with the bag still on. When I returned to work and unpacked my order, I realized I was missing a tostada entirely. I double-checked my car to ensure it wasn’t misplaced, but it was clear that it had not been given to me. At this point, I was beyond frustrated—not only was the service poor, but my order was incomplete despite having paid in full. I called the restaurant to report the issue, and the cashier, Mayeli R., answered. When I explained the situation, she insisted that she had given me all four tostadas. I told her she was mistaken and asked her to check the cameras. She responded that she knew they had cameras and would check. However, she then abruptly hung up. Less than a minute later, I called back, and she claimed to have already reviewed the footage and insisted she had given me four tostadas—this was completely false. She then contradicted herself by saying I could return to pick up the missing tostada. If she was so sure she gave me four, why offer a replacement? I then asked for a refund to the company card I had used, but she refused, saying I had to return in person. I explained that my lunch break was over and I could not return, to which she responded that I should come later. Frustrated, I handed the phone to my supervisor, who was equally upset about the poor service. When my supervisor asked for corporate contact information or the name of her superior, Mayeli refused to provide it, falsely stating it was on the receipt (it was not). Eventually, she provided the name “Maria” as a manager and said my supervisor could speak with her at 3 PM. This entire experience was demeaning, embarrassing, and completely disrespectful. Unfortunately, this is not the first time service at this location has been subpar. The cashiers consistently have an attitude, the lines take forever, and while the food is usually well-prepared, the service quality is severely lacking. This is the first time I have felt the need to file a complaint of this magnitude, but given the pattern of poor service, I strongly urge higher management to take action in improving the customer experience. The level of service I received today is unacceptable, and I would appreciate clarification on how this matter will be addressed. Thank you for your time.

I am from Lake Forest, Ca. and this was my favorite place to eat. I have been in Raytown / Kansas City, Mo for almost 11 years.

I am thrilled to hear that you will be opening here. Can you tell me when you will start building here?

Please tell me it will be close to me and soon. Raytown is trying to pass a rezoning at 51st and Woodson, this is about two blocks from my home.

We are trying to fight it because they want to allow a discount cigarette shop / Liquor store. We do not want that in this neighborhood. If this was El Pollo Loco,

I am sure we would vote for the rezoning. Anyway, I am getting carried away here. I really just hope you will build soon close to me.
