Attention Hertz Headquarters, I have been a loyal Gold Member of Hertz for over 15 years . I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars renting cars from the Oakland Airport location . The best agent working for hertz was an older gentleman by the name of Dave . Unfortunately he passed away from cancer , this guy is as one of the best customer agent I’ve ever n encountered. Dave was very kind , professional and knowledgeable. He was an asset to Hertz; his great customer service is what kept me renting from Hertz . It’s the customers that make a company successful. If the customers stop coming the business takes a hit . This is why I am leaving Hertz I do not feel valued as the loyal customer I have been all these years . The agents at the Oakland International airport are very rude and unprofessional. I have rented three cars in the last couple of weeks here recently . The customer service I received in Las Vegas this past week was great . Unfortunately the customer service I received in Oakland these couple of weeks have been terrible . On 05/11/2024 I arrived at the airport to pick up my vehicle, I by passed the counter which is a huge convenience I picked my vehicle up . After waiting in the line for 15 minutes, I was told by the agent that agent at the counter needed me to come inside , I asked why ? He said he had to do with payment . I was surprised due to the fact I have all my credit card to an agent over the phone two weeks prior . I had to carefully back up park the car and inconveniently go to the counter . Once I arrived at the counter I was not greeted by the African American agent with glasses and corn rolls in his hair .He was very rude to me claiming it was a problem with my card . Which I knew was nit true . I witnessed this guy to be rude to at least four other people. I requested the manager he reluctantly said his name was Cal And that he was at lunch. After about 10 minutes, dealing with this rude person I was able to again get ready to exit the gate. I spoke to the gentleman at the gate again his name is Jonathan. Very pleasant. I asked him who was the manager at on duty. he said her name was Jessica, I said oh really where is she? He said I didn’t know. I said because she would know Insight and I was told by Byron The Manager on duty was Cal . Jonathan said I don’t know why he told you that the manager on duty his name is Jessica and she was nowhere to be found. The Oakland airport Hertz location has terrible customer service again. I picked up my third vehicle on May 17, 2024 at approximately 7:30 PM, I booked this reservation on March 30, 2024 months in advance. It was a luxury vehicle, when I go to pick this vehicle up from the agent by the name of WINN he tells me oh I’m sorry we don’t have the vehicle available. We have a Kia for you. I was shocked to say the least and asked him why The vehicle reserved months ago, not available for me. He cannot give me an answer again I asked for the manager name. He said her name was Jessica whom I’m familiar with that name. She was nowhere to be found. I’ve been a Goldmember and I have spent thousands of dollars with Hertz for many many years. Their customer service that all-time low of negative -0 this will be my last rental from Hertz requesting a discount on this rental rental number, K 81304837D3. I’m expecting half off of this vehicle because of the huge inconvenience and a terrible customer service I’ve been subjected to in the last couple of weeks from Hertz local Oakland airport location just terrible. I am also requesting a callback from Hert headquarters I do not want to email. I would like to speak to a live person from the Hertz Corporate Office headquarters, etc., Hertz is going to experience a drop in customers due to terrible service . This is my last time ever renting from Hertz. I have two complaints. This is my third complaint and I requested a call back from corporate and I’ve not received it yet. This is another reason. I’m leaving Hertz as a customer service. The mission statement does not reflect their actions. They have no concern regarding their customers, they hire incompetent agents, that have zero customer service skills . -0 stars for Hertz Oakland Airport location

I have attempted to speak with customer service and received no assistance. They refused to help me and literally advised me that there was no manager available for me to speak with on both occasions. I’m an employee of Siemens and we utilize Hertz as one of our primary rental agencies. This interaction was unprofessional in soo many ways. I am a Presidents Circle member and was charged on my business American Express for an upgrade of a vehicle that was in the Presidents Circle that I shouldn’t have been charged for. Nobody wants to assist me with this issue. I need HELP to rectify this issue. Extremly poor customer service. One of the rep IDs that was provided to me is jakaydi ID1019
