On October 10,2017 – Purchased a holiday outfit spending over $200 – The next morning I woke up & there was an Anniversary Sale & the outfit was on sale – I called to get a price adjustment & they wouldn't do it saying they couldn't combine discounts – I spoke with a "supervisor" John A – she was NO HELP!! & made the situation more difficult – NEEDLESS to say after spending THOUSANDS of dollars – I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN & WILL POST IT ANYWHERE I CAN so no one else get's ripped off also. SHAME ON YOU JANIE & JACK.

On March 31, 2017, I placed Order Number 14075398 with Janie and Jack. Normally I shop at the store in Phipps Plaza, Atlanta, Georgia but decided I would order the items on line. On April 2, 2017, I received an email that the items had shipped. I continued checking the tracking information and it kept noting that "Package transferred to post office". But no more notes that it had shipped from the Post Office to my home. I phoned Janie and Jack Customer Service to inquire what the hold up was and as informed they could not give me an answer other than to say – it should be delivered any day and to just wait. On April 12th after not receiving the package, I once again phoned Janie and Jack Customer Service and since they could not tell me what or where the package actually was, I decided to cancel the order and get a credit. At that time I was informed I would have to deal with my bank as they did not issue credits, my bank would have to handle. I phoned my Bank and filled out the requested paper work and filed a claim. The bank issued me a temporary credit pending their investigation. Turns out they could not get any where with Janie and Jack and charged the amount back on my account. On June 2nd I received a letter from the bank stating I would have to deal with Janie and Jack's management or file a legal claim to get a credit. Today, June 5th I just phoned Janie and Jack again and told them my bank said THEY would have to process the credit. After holding on the line for 19 minutes and 3 seconds I was informed that I should receive a credit within approximately 3 months. This is no way to do business. No wonder their sales are falling. There are many other children stores that I know appreciate my business so I will no longer be shopping either in the store or on line at Janie and Jack or Gymboree. I have shared this story with MANY of my friends and their grandmother's since I am 70 years old myself. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Beverly Cusac, Marietta, GA

Will never again shop for Janie & Jack online. They have my money and I did not receive my order. They don't care. I have to take care of it myself. I think their customer lack of service is outsourced. DO NOT SHOP ONLINE with them.

I placed an order for my grandchildren's Christmas gifts on December 5, 2016. On December 11, I was notified that my order shipped. Finally, on December 20 (!) I received my order (thrown in a box with no care whatsoever), and one item was missing. When I called, they told me that (now!) the item was out of stock and I would get a refund.

Today is January 19, 2017 and NO REFUND. I've called twice. Once I was told it was "being processed." In a second call, the "manager" told me that because of an "unexpected audit," it would be delayed. After a firm discussion about the unacceptable manner in which this was being handled, he told me I would have my refund "by 3:00." No refund was issued.

As far as I am concerned, Janie and Jack has stolen my money. My next step is to contact other sources of help, first the news networks, then the state consumer agencies, and beyond. The amount of money is not significant. What IS significant is that it belongs to ME, not Janie and Jack.

As was noted in many posts that preceded this one, customer service for this company is truly lacking. A corporate response to this posting (and to my e-mail) would be refreshingly welcome.

I am disappointed in your lack of customer service. On the phone, the agent with whom I spoke was surly and regergetated an apology with such a lack of empathy, that I am sure he was fending questions regularly. I wrote an email to inquire about a long ago placed order, was sent an auto reply that someone would be in contact with me in hours, and that was four days ago. Lovely little outfits can be purchased elsewhere. The outfits were for holiday wear. I have yet to receive them, and I will return them promptly.
