  • I need to speak to someone in our Corporate Office. I work for food city but the number says it's out of service.

  • I recently entered my local Food City store on State of Franklin in Johnson City, TN., and was appalled to see that Starbucks coffee shop was being installed inside the store. Starbucks is anti-veteran, anti-2nd Amendment, and sees no problem hiring illegal aliens. I cannot believe that Corporate Headquarters of KVAT would allow such a company into their stores. Are you deliberately trying to alienate your military and conservative customers? Well, if you are, you have succeeded. After being a customer of Food City for over 20 years, I will now take my business elsewhere.

  • This in reference to the Food City located in Chilhowie, Va. I worked there as a Front End Manager for about 5 months, I left 2 weeks ago in reference to issues that were not being addressed. I feel I need to share because your child, grandchild or someone you love could be affected. Some of the Front End Managers, Office Personnel and even one Assistant Manager are verbally abusive. Courtesy Clerks, Cashiers and even I could be referred to as an idiot, dummy, stupid etc. If you were asked to work your day off and said no you could be told "well, screw all y'all." Oftentimes I was yelled at and belittled in front of customers. I went to the store manager three times in reference to the problems. I know others also spoke to management in reference to the same issues. I was always told "Oh, it's ok. We just know how to take them and overlook them." No employee should be told that instead of addressing those causing the conflict. The last day I worded the same thing happened and that was the final straw. Customer service is first and foremost in a retail environment and it IS NOT OK to be humiliated in front of customers. Honestly, it happened every couple days. After I left, I received no follow up exit call but then I didn't really expect one. I have read other comments in reference to the same problems at other FC locations. Please make sure this is not happening with a young person you know, FC should be setting an example as this is the first job for some of these teens. Shame on the company for not addressing and correcting the problem. For the record I was the third Front End Manager to leave for the same reasons in a 5 month period.

  • What's left! Worked for this company over 15 yes, only to endure constant write ups for everything not even true- this company has the worst management i have every dealt with! Allowing no defence just Constance threats- turnovers in numbers and sadly out dated on some issues. Amazing but true with no value for their workers- to make one mistate is a firing offense. Where are the fair and intelligent managers, welcome to jail!! You need to follow up on this kind of obuse-

  • We have been customers who have enjoyed Rosario's pizza (about 2 per week) for about 2 years now. On our most recent purchase (today) the pizza was a thicker crust and sturdy enough to not have to have the usual "oven ready pan". After cooking it, the crust was closer to cardboard than the usual homemade crust we were used to. Why change the existing recipe? We will not be purchasing this product any more —– until we see it back in the original "oven ready pan". Thank you. Steve Wolf, Crossville, TN

  • In regards to Moore’s Brand HONEY BBQ CHIPS: we have been buying these chips… & absolutely LOVING them for years now. HOWEVER the last 5 bags have had NO SEASONING. None. We may as well have purchased PLAIN LAYS CHIPS. There would have been LITTLE DIFF in the two! Could someone check out the production of these chips (for the east, TN distribution area) to find out WHAT IS GOING ON!! ?? We have been terribly disappointed in the quality for the past 5 BAGS! ONE bag I could perhaps understand. People & machines make mistakes & I could *possibly even see ONE entire BATCH being missed with the flavorings but this has happened on our LAST FIVE SHOPPING TRIPS to two DIFFERENT Food City stores & over a months time passed from 1st bag to last! & on *TWO occasions we drove all the way there for JUST THAT ONE ITEM!! Only to get home & be TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED in this product again & again !! >:0( I really hate to keep wasting $ on a product that is obviously not anywhere near up to par of the usual quality. Could you please check into this problem ??

  • I was forwarded an email showing your Food City commercial (wordless, just music) showing the older veteran welcoming the young veteran home. I was moved to tears and watch it over and over. BRAVO!! Wish I had one of your stores here in my area (Michigan) so I could give you my business. Classy commercial. Keep it up!

  • YOU have terrible management in the store in Hazard KY. Store no.438. My grandson works there and has been there almost 2 years and they treat him terrible. The store manager is Rocky, I don't know his last name another manager is Carl White and the other manager is Billy Black. They talk down to him, move people in full time positions over him and one of the managers said I will never give you full time. This is official how they treat him.

  • I've been trying to contact the K-VA-T main office for days now, and the number is no longer in service, nor will any employees assist me. I have forgotten my username AND password for my employee login, and I am in need of access to my check stubs ASAP.

  • I told the store manager at the food city in Sevierville, TN that I might have to have back surgery. He told me if I did and am out more than 2 weeks I was terminated! Well, in Dec I had to have that surgery. Now I'm worried when I get back to work, in 2-5 months that I'm not going to have a job. This manager is a bully to almost everyone there! He should be removed from this store. He's not a good manager at all! I even visited the other day and he never smiled, askd how I was or anything.

  • Curious question for a friend and loyal employee. What is Food city policy on amount of days missed for being sick. And why does a doctors note not excuse absence? Is 1 day per calendar month your limit or get fired your policy? That is what my friend has been told. Thank you

  • When an employee quits and turns in a written notice, what is the company policy for that employee getting their vacation pay? Doesn't a company suppose to pay the employee what they owe them?

  • I delivered to your warehouse & all I can say is these are the slowest people to ever unload without breaking down pallets. Took almost 4 hours. I always thought Bilo, publix & Walmart took forever but you have officially changed my mind on that. May I pray I never step foot in this place again.

  • The floral manager at 622 has been "sweethearting" employees by giving out expensive flower arrangements for free. I intend to call the head of security tomorrow

  • I have used the Food City in Chilhowie, Va. since it opened. I have worked with the public for the last 40 years and know it takes special people to do a good job. I am pleased to say the new manager and his staff are a asset to the Food City family. They go above and beyond to help their customers. Everyone is treated equally….with extra help to the elderly. They always are friendly and speak to you, that means a lot these days!!!! Please keep this manager, he one of a kind. This is what customer service really means. Also his staff are really nice. Thank you, please pass on to Steve Smith, he is such a fine man and I know he would want to know he has a store that is doing things right. Have a great day.

  • I would like to know why your store in Abingdon Virginia has managers that yell at there female employees to the point they cry and then tell them to go on home. The young lady this happened to is as friendly as can be. But for a manager to be as rude to her as he was is just wrong.

  • Your new store on East Morris Blvd in Morristown, TN is wonderful. Great Manager and Staff. One small issue. The store Temperature is uncomfortable. An employee told me the temps in the stores are controlled by Corporate HQ. Perhaps this should be addressed before the hot weather gets here.
