Kroger Proposed Merger Issue

September 21, 2024

Kroger, Proposed merger with Safeway. We are hopeful that Rodney’s proposed merger does not go through. What is it, other than a power play, an effort ot expand its effort to expand, in my area close to a monopoly. This is just another example of a corporate power play, another example of ego, control, the legacy of the CEO, another example of pushing for a monopoly (at least in my area), where the combined company would totally control prices. Add to that, a technology, that totally does not work. I do not agree with most of Alina Khan’s policys in deterring mergers, but in this case, it is totally in the best interest of the consumer. Care to answer, care to respond?

Kroger Customer Service Issue

May 16, 2024

Unsatisfied! Store 6306 County Rd 107, Proctorville, OH 45669. Is the most disgusting Grocery store I have ever shopped at, The employees are nasty, dirty looking,Unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Wondering if this store even has a manager. If so he must set in the office all the time because In 4 years I’;ve never seen one. Prices are getting higher than Foodfair, At least they are friendly and the manager walks the store Greeting customers, making sure his store is being ran correctly. Before you assume I’m just pissed off at someone that works there. I personally do not know anyone there,This is coming from a retired 35 year Grocery manager. So much more I could say but we’ll leave it at this.

Kroger Rain Check Issue

May 14, 2024

I received a rain check from a JayC. On the rain check it states This rain check is redeemable at any Kroger Co. However this is not the case. When I tried redeeming at a larger Kroger store I was advised to take it back to the JayC location. The JayC only has few items available at all times. This is false advertising if it is not honored as stated!

Kroger Digital Coupons

January 24, 2024

Digital coupons are discriminatory. If you don’t have a smartphone you’re out of luck. It should be attached to your Kroger card. It makes people feel stupid and singles out mostly older shoppers. I will stop shopping the Springfield Kroger store. Shame on Kroger corporation for being so inconsiderate of your older shoppers and those who can’t afford smart phones. I’m rallying my friends to boycott Kroger.

Kroger Online Coupon Issue

January 19, 2024

BIG Issues…almost ready to shop elsewhere!

We shop at the Peoria, IL store 80014. It takes me 45 minutes to get on the site every time. Tonight they would not accept my email address–the same one I have used all along. When I finally get on they have me at a store in AZ. I have to change it every time. The final straw is that they won’t let me use coupons when I shop in-store. Tonight they emptied my basket and I had to redo the list on paper but I won’t get any coupons. I like shopping at the store but these problems have almost finished me off.

PS I save between 15 and 20 dollars with coupons and sale items. We need that money!
