What to Have Before Contacting Target Corporate Office

Whether you are contacting Target Guest Service, Target.com support, a store manager, Target Circle Card support, or the Target corporate office, your issue is easier to review when you provide clear records. Do not post private payment, card, order, account, pharmacy, or personal information in the public review section below.

  • The Target store location, city, and state
  • Date and time of the visit, order, pickup, delivery, return, or customer service interaction
  • Receipt number, Target.com order number, pickup order number, return barcode, or case number
  • Photos of the product, receipt, package, shelf tag, sale sign, app screen, or damaged item when relevant
  • Names of managers, team members, support representatives, or delivery contacts involved, if known
  • Target Circle offer, promotion, gift card, or card account details shared only through secure official channels
  • Shipping, return, or delivery tracking numbers
  • Chat transcripts, emails, call notes, or written promises from Target support
  • A short timeline explaining what happened and the resolution you are requesting

How to Escalate a Target Complaint

If a local store or customer service route does not resolve your issue, escalate the complaint in a documented way. A clear message with the store location, order number, receipt, photos, and requested resolution is usually more effective than repeated calls without records.

  1. Start with the correct support team. Use store management, Target.com order support, Target Circle Card support, gift card support, or product safety support depending on the issue.
  2. Ask for documentation. Request a case number, return confirmation, refund timeline, order correction, card support record, or written explanation.
  3. Save all proof. Keep receipts, photos, emails, chat transcripts, call notes, return labels, shipping records, and app screenshots.
  4. Ask for escalation. Request review by a supervisor, store director, district contact, order support specialist, card support specialist, product safety team, or Guest Relations specialist depending on the issue.
  5. Use Guest Service in writing when needed. Use Target’s official contact page or Guest Service route to document the complaint.
  6. Write to headquarters if needed. For unresolved corporate-level concerns, send written correspondence to Target Corporation, 1000 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
  7. Use outside routes when appropriate. For card disputes, contact the card issuer. For product safety concerns, review recall information or contact the appropriate regulator. For unresolved consumer complaints, consider your state consumer protection office.

Target.com Orders, Wrong Items and Shipping Complaints

Target.com order issues are common reasons shoppers search for Target corporate office or Target corporate headquarters. Complaints may involve wrong merchandise, mislabeled items, missing packages, damaged goods, cancelled orders, delayed refunds, return problems, international shipping complications, or support representatives refusing to escalate an issue.

For online order complaints, keep the Target.com order number, shipping confirmation, tracking number, photos of the package and item label, return label, chat transcript, and any emails from Target. If the issue involves a charity, business, school, or event deadline, explain the time sensitivity clearly and ask for written escalation.

Store Complaints, Customer Service and Sale Sign Issues

Store complaints may involve rude customer service, unclear sale signs, promotion disputes, return desk issues, long lines, product placement, checkout errors, or confusion over whether a promotion applied correctly. Start with the store’s guest service desk or store manager when the issue happened at a specific store.

If the complaint involves a sale sign, shelf tag, Target Circle offer, or promotion, take a photo of the sign and save the receipt. Include the store location, date, time, item name, price shown, price charged, and the resolution you are requesting.

Drive Up, Pickup, Delivery and Shipt Issues

Target offers Drive Up, Order Pickup, same-day delivery, and delivery options that may involve Target teams, Target.com support, or Shipt depending on how the order was placed. Problems may include missing bags, wrong substitutions, spoiled groceries, damaged items, late pickup, cancelled orders, or unclear refund responsibility.

Save your order number, pickup time, delivery status, app screenshots, messages, photos, and receipt. If a third-party delivery partner was involved, document whether the issue involved shopping, delivery, missing items, driver conduct, or store fulfillment.

Target Circle, Target Circle Card and Payment Issues

Target Circle and Target Circle Card issues may involve missing offers, account login problems, card payments, declined transactions, billing disputes, rewards, reloadable cards, debit card issues, or confusion after the RedCard-to-Target-Circle-Card naming change.

  • Target Circle Credit Card: 1-800-424-6888
  • Target Circle Mastercard: 1-612-815-9922
  • Target Circle Debit Card: 1-888-729-7331
  • Target Circle Reloadable Card: 1-833-840-4332
  • Target Card Services Payment Mailing Address: P.O. Box 660170, Dallas, TX 75266-0170

Do not post card numbers, bank account details, Target Circle account emails, passwords, payment records, or gift card access numbers in public comments.

Target GiftCard, Fraud and Security Concerns

Target GiftCard questions may involve balance checks, missing cards, fraud, lost access numbers, scams, or suspicious gift card requests. For Target GiftCard help, call 1-800-544-2943. Target GiftCards should not be used to pay taxes, fines, bail, tech support, utility bills, marketplace sellers, romantic partners, or anyone demanding gift cards as urgent payment.

If you receive a suspicious email, text, phone call, job offer, order confirmation, refund notice, or website that appears to be from Target, do not click the link. Go directly to Target.com or the Target app. Target lists ab***@****et.com for reporting suspicious contacts or information security concerns.

Product Safety, Recalls and Quality Complaints

Product safety and quality complaints may involve recalled items, damaged products, baby products, grocery items, allergens, private-label products, furniture, appliances, toys, electronics, or safety defects. Target provides separate product safety routes for general merchandise and grocery concerns.

Keep the product, packaging, UPC, lot code, expiration date, receipt, photos, and store or order details. If someone may be having a medical emergency, allergic reaction, or injury, seek medical help immediately.

Pharmacy, Clinic and Health Information Issues

Many Target pharmacy and clinic services are handled through CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic. If your complaint involves a prescription, refill, vaccine, clinic appointment, insurance issue, medication availability, or private health information, use the appropriate pharmacy or clinic support route first.

Do not post prescription numbers, dates of birth, medical conditions, insurance IDs, pharmacy records, phone numbers, or private health information in public comments.

Unfamiliar Target Charges and Scam Warnings

If you see an unfamiliar Target, Target.com, Target Circle Card, Target GiftCard, Shipt, delivery, pickup, pharmacy, or app charge on your statement, compare it with recent store visits, online orders, gift card purchases, subscriptions, delivery orders, and card account activity. Contact Target, the card issuer, or your bank if the charge still does not match.

You can also use ChargeOnMyCard.com to research confusing retail, delivery, subscription, gift card, and online order charge names. For fake Target coupons, gift card scams, phishing texts, fake job offers, fake refund messages, fake order confirmations, and fake support numbers, visit ThinkItsAScam.com.

Employment, Careers and HR Questions

People may search for Target headquarters address, Target corporate address, or Target main office because they need help with job applications, payroll, benefits, W-2 forms, former employee records, workplace concerns, employment verification, or HR questions. The correct route may depend on whether the role is in a store, supply chain facility, corporate office, headquarters, security, tech, merchandising, HR, or another Target team.

For employment questions, use Target careers, internal team member resources, store leadership, or the appropriate HR contact. Do not post employee IDs, payroll records, Social Security numbers, medical information, internal documents, or manager accusations with identifying personal details in public comments.

Target Reviews and Complaints

Current review themes on CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com include disappointment with Target corporate policy decisions, frustration with customer service, sale-sign and promotion confusion, repeated online order errors, difficulty getting support escalation, and concerns about product placement near pharmacy areas. Several reviewers describe long-time loyalty to Target followed by disappointment after unresolved experiences.

These reviews are individual customer experiences and may not represent every Target store, online order, policy decision, support representative, manager, or corporate response. When sharing a review, describe the general issue and outcome, but do not post private payment details, card numbers, order numbers, gift card access codes, phone numbers, email addresses, employee records, pharmacy information, or home addresses.

Target Disappointing Issue

May 29, 2025

Target, I had been a Target shopper for thirty years. But, along with my family, will likely not ever shop there again. I have been very disappointed in that Target has so quickly abandoned it’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. It’s a culture shift from the top at Target that I find very disappointing.

Target Disappointing Customer Service

May 26, 2025

Target, Customer Service is ridiculous. Target last week had a sale where you purchased 3 certain beauty items and get 1 free of the mini travel size. So I picked up the 3 beauty item and the free one but I was charged. Instead of going and waiting for help at the Customer Service desk, I called Customer Service once home. I emailed them the pic of the sale sign that read Buy 3, Get 1 and the rep told me that I misunderstaood the sign. It’s buy 3 and 1 of the 3 items is free. Are you kidding me?

Target Disappointing

May 21, 2025

Target, My family would stop in your Brooklyn store on Bay Parkway at least once a week. But owing to the fact that my family and I don’t seem to be of importance to your corporate policy (based on your reversal of diversity, equity and inclusion programs}, just want to let you know that we no longer stop at your stores. If and when you find your good conscience let us know.

Target Repeated Order Errors and No Customer Support

May 5, 2025

Target, I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Target after receiving the wrong merchandise twice, despite paying $277 in international shipping to get these towels to Ecuador for a charity auction. Both shipments included incorrect or mislabeled items. Customer service initially seemed helpful, but when I called back after the second error, the representative denied the problem despite clear labeling discrepancies and photo evidence. She dismissed my concerns, refused to escalate the issue, and hung up when I pressed for accountability. As someone trying to help a deserving charity, this has been a huge disappointment. Target’s refusal to take responsibility or provide proper support has lost them a loyal customer for good.

Target Disappointing Issue Near the Pharmacy

April 25, 2025

Target, Disappointed with lack of sensitivity. Today as I waited to pick up a prescription, I looked to my left in the aisle only to see s** paraphernalia. And I mean something I would never want to see while standing in line with a minor like the woman behind me. What are you doing? Since when is this alright? I will never go to your store again. I have already moved my prescriptions. If I could give your review a Zero Stars, I would.
