Marcos Advertising Issue

Marcos available toppings for specialty pizza. In Marcos ads why cannot you provide the toppings available for a specialty pizza? Your ads are sometimes worthless. One has to order before one can see the available toppings.

Marco's Pizza Burlington NC

May 26, 2024

Really Zero Stars!!! I had a birthday party for my grandson last weekend and ordered $165 worth of pizza from Marco’s Pizza in Burlington, North Carolina. The pizza was to be delivered at 3pm. Got a call from Marco’s at 3:05pm that their driver called out. They assured me that a driver was on their way to the store to bring me the order. It arrived at 4:30 pm, with the party ending at 5pm. My guests were forced to eat cake for dinner and had pizza for dessert! When I called back I asked for a manager and was told she would be calling me once they were free. No one EVER called back. I had a party to clean up after and children to tend to. I finally called back today and asked to speak to the manager on duty. I was put on hold for a full 10 minutes. Once she came on, I explained what had happened and she was able to see what had transpired. She offered me a $30 credit, which I felt wasn’t enough, but accepted. I placed an order with her for delivery. The pizza arrived quickly, my son tipped the driver, and I had two incorrect pizzas. I called and explained to the young man that the order was incorrect and he said that he would send out two new pizzas. After getting off the phone I realized how late it was and my two little grandchildren needed to get to bed. So I immediately called back and asked the young man to please give me a credit instead. He told me he needed to ask the manager. She got on the phone and immediately said, without even greeting me, that she was going to send out ONE pizza, with an attitude in her voice! I told her that I had two incorrect pizzas and she spoke over me and said she was sending one. I said, ‘after you messed up a birthday party last week, now messing this order up, you’re only going to send ONE pie, and not give me a credit?’ She said, ‘you know what I’m not sending anything!’ and proceeded to hang up on me! Well, I called back and asked the young man who answered for the name of the manager or the name of the franchise owner, he hung up on me! I thought, this must be a mistake, he didn’t mean to hang up on me, so I called back again and he picked up the phone and immediately hung it up again! I have NEVER been treated that disrespectfully by a business in my 68 years! It’s Sunday night, I will be calling the corporate office in the morning. Thanks for reading my rant! I was in a good mood before I decided to call Marco’s Pizza in Burlington, North Carolina today! Awful experience two weekends in a row with this very shoddy service and disrespectful staff! Shame on you!! I have a VERY large family who order from this location. That’s about to change!

Marcos Custom Pizza Order Issue

January 30, 2024

Marcos doesn’t make the pizza how the customer wants! I have ordered from our local Marco’s on a weekly basis and I have to have my pizza WELL DONE which means run it twice. I went to pick up my order, the pizza was no where near well done, I asked for a manager, in my opinion a manager should be professional in appearance, this girl had green hair, facial piercings and looked like she had just rolled out of bed after sleeping in her uniform. I told her the problem and that I had put it in special instructions, she told me, we don’t pay attention to that part of the ticket, it’s too time consuming especially on a weekend night, I was the ONLY customer there. I said so you obviously don’t give a flip about your customers, their wants for their pizza and what their wishes are, even though it is the customers money that pays your salary, her response was “We have been working on getting the special instructions taken off the website for a while” so that tells me you don’t care to get paid, she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. They have lost a weekly order, I will get frozen pizzas and put them in my air fryer on Pizza bake and KNOW it will be done PROPERLY for less money. I will NEVER recommend Marco’s again.

Food Poisoning! I loved Marcos Pizza but not after last night I will never order it again. My husband and father-in-law got food poisoning from a pizza we ordered which I get sometimes things happen. I called the manager, Katelyn, to explain what happened and she was so kind and helpful. She said she was going to give me a credit for the one pizza but wanted to the call the owners to see if she could get more because we were loyal customers. Well after she talked to them, the owners said no refund for anything. She was so apologetic and said she was sorry. We will NEVER order from them again which is sad because I loved their pizzas. I guess there is no customer service anymore. Shame on those owners. We ordered from the Nicholas Parkway in Cape Coral, FL.
