Papa John’s, What Happened to Customer Service? Morganton, North Carolina Store #856 – Manager Christy. I have eaten Papa John’s Pizza for years and really enjoyed it. Times, though, are a changing. This evening I ordered a Shaq-a-Roni Pizza. Whole Toppings:Cheese, Onions, Mushrooms. Extra Cheese. Instructions: Extra, Well Done Sauce: Original Pizza. A second pizza was ordered – Large Thin Crust Create Your Own Pizza Garlic Stuffed Crust Whole Toppings: Onions, Mushrooms, Italian Sausage, Extra Cheese, Extra Sauce, and Well Done. The second pizza was perfect. The first pizza was another story. Not one slice of pepperoni and no extra cheese. I called the store and was told I could bring the pizza back and they would either refund my order or replace the pizza. I chose replacement. When I arrived at the restaurant, Christi, the manager introduced herself and told me I had received exactly what I had ordered. I saw on the box that indeed, it was marked -pepperoni. I explained to Christi that when reviewing the order before placing it the ingredients listed extra pepperoni. I did not order extra pepperoni so I removed it. Christi said “That’s why you didn’t get pepperoni. It’s not our fault.” I then told her I misunderstood what the online order was telling me. Christi then told me I needed to learn how to order. I asked if my replacement pizza was ready and was told by an extremely rude and confrontational Christi, and I quote, “I’m not giving you a pizza or a refund. You made the mistake.” I guess customer service is a thing of the past in this day and time. Five years ago I retired from the food service industry after 38 years of service with one employer. General Manager, District Manager, and Human Resources Manager were the roles I filled. In all of my career I never would have allowed behavior such as this in my restaurants. The times, they are a changing……If you would like more information please feel free to contact me. If not, I guess the times are really changing.

Papa John’s, Order System! When ordering from number displayed for local orders in Enid Ok it sends you to (India) New Delhi probably. From there things only get worse when attempting to describe where to deliver order at VAFB they get frustrated and eventually hang up on customer when local office is requested. Local office knows exactly the procedure to deliver here. There needs to be a direct line listed to bypass the whole insane process. BTW press 1 for English should be the only option available in America . Not only myself has this problem. You are losing customers.

Papa John's Disappointing Experience

Papa John’s, Pizza never got delivered. I’m hugely disappointed! Papa John’s is my favorite pizza place but I rarely order it. Tonight I placed an order at 4:30 for a 5:45 delivery in Ewa Beach, Hi. It’s a Wednesday night and earlier time so I expected the pizza early. At 6:50, when the delivery hadn’t arrived I called. The person who answered, Shan, said they were “just waiting on the driver”. I told her that my pizza was over An Hour late and to cancel my order. I will never order from Papa John’s again! What a waste! I should’ve known better after all of the rumors!
