Reach Out To Menards Corporate Office – Reviews & Complaints 

I shop at Menards in Elkhart Indiana spend tens of thousands of dollars a year. Today I went in and was told to leave the store because I refuse to sign the pad when I leave the yard picking up lumber. I was then threatened by the guard who would not open the gate would not let me leave who held my vehicle there but finally called and was told that he didn’t have the authority to do that open the gate future dates this reoccurred to the point he became violent with me told me that he wanted to meet me outside of there and settle it this old man I agreed however he finally left the gate up and I left like I always do now I’m a business owner I own two companies I spend tens of thousands of dollars at Menards in the past and they allowed the store manager allowed this security guard with no proof nothing did they confront me with any proof he said there was video he refused to show me the video and told me that if I didn’t leave you would call the police and have me escorted it out would not let me make the purchase I had at the register I just think this is below standard and that this store manager should be removed in Elkhart Indiana the Elkhart Indiana also has a two-star rating that just gives you an idea how bad that store is and then they think they can threaten you and make you sign documents and force you to do things and they don’t have the authority I would like for this store manager to be reprimanded be terminated or as minimal be taught how to treat customers especially ones that own businesses spend probably 50 to 100,000 annually in your store and you choose to kick me out for no just cause and I have no recourse we’ll just continue to share the message if I don’t hear back from you. I would suggest that anyone that has shopped at Menards in the past stop go to Lowes go to any alternative store.

Menards, Doors locked to garden department. Explain to me why doors are not used in garden department? I went to Machesney Park store to buy a load of patio stones. I had to enter in main door which was a walk from lot parked at garden center. Walked thru store to garden center. I could not find a employee to help me . Then I thought if I buy this heavy purchase I will have to drag it all the way back to front registers. You certainly do not respect seniors to purchase with convinces. So I left with out the purchase and went to Home Depot where I entered the garden center door and was greeted by a clerk who helped me purchase the stones which was a 400$ sale. I sure hope you look into this matter for your own good.

Menards, water heater complaint. I just had the worst customer service experience ever at the Dolton Illinois store, I bought 2 new water heaters from Menards in November 2018 one went bad last year the other yesterday both are still under the 6 year warranty the store customer service decided to remove the manufacture tag from the old one to put on the new one but it did not peel off the new one they decided to put on the new water heater but it broke into pieces and couldn’t be stuck back on the new one,at this stage I have a brand new water heater with no manufacturer tags on it and no way to identify the new water heater except the receipt which means nothing if I have a issue with the new water heater I’m pretty sure that this Menards store has violated FTC trade regulations I need someone to contact me .

Menards, unwanted extended warranty. So I bought an indoor/ outdoor temp gauge and at check out the cashier sold me a replacement plan without my knowledge or consent. I returned it the next and was not refunded the price of the plan ‘what a scam!!!If there was another store I could go to Lowes or I will not go the Menards anymore.

Menards, just doesn’t care. I bought a hub fan. Got it home and all the stuff that was inside where gone. No wheels, no brackets, no nothing. Called the Richmond store and told that they will not get anymore in just to return it. I live 45 minutes away, it is going to be hot for the next week or two. So I called Masterforce customer service to get the missing parts. Pressed 0 no answer AI advised to leave message then says ext 109 is full and starts all over. Looks like I will be going to Lowes to get another fan and I will be out $220.00 for a couple of weeks when I go back to Menards to get my money back. So much for customer setvice.
