Holiday Inn Express Non Working Amenities

As soon as I entered the Hotel, the staff was warm and welcoming. My Government Traveled card needed increased so the first night, I didn’t pay attention to the T.V. in my room that said “No Signal” The front desk staff said “Try and click on input for TV” and click through the channels still the T.V. goes back to No Signal! I have 38 more nights and No T.V. $3, 888.30 for no T.V. is equivalent to a roach motel. Holiday Inn Express of Hopewell, VA. “”Please Do Better!””

Exceptional Service Holiday Inn Edinburgh City Centre Scotland

We were recently on a trip in Europe. We stayed at several Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express locations. We wanted to let the “powers that be” know how outstanding two on your employees were at the Edinburgh City Centre location in Scotland. Bora & Robert that worked at the front desk were both wonderful to interact with. Not only did they provide exceptional front desk service they were so friendly and accommodating to any of the request we had. It is so refreshing to see two individuals that go above and beyond for the guests at the hotel. I really hope they are recognized for their exceptional service.

I stayed at the Lamar, CO location in July. I left Sunday morning and when I arrived home I realized I left a $130 shirt in the room. I called and was told there was no one available to check the room for my missing item. I called the next morning with credit card info for shipping and was told they would look, contact me, and ship the item. It is now 9/27/2022 and no contact and no shirt. I am very doubtful I will ever stay at that location ever again. Very very very disappointed guest.

I had reservation at Holiday Inn Express in Yorkville, Illinois. The manager used a great deal of profanity towards me and also stated ” get the f… out of my hotel” and told his colleague to cancel my reservation. The next month when I received my credit card bill-they had charged me for the stay-which I could not stay at hotel and no refusing to reverse the charge

For Holiday Inn Express Corporate Headquarters - Terrible stay in Redding, CA

Rated 1 out of 5
July 31, 2023

To whom it may concern: For YEARS, Holiday Inn Express has been our go-to when traveling on business. Last week we had the unfortunate need to spend the night at your establishment in Redding CA. The elevator does not work, our room was on the 3rd floor. The Thermostat was set to 64 degrees – too cold for us & we reset it to 70 degrees. The thermostat doesn’t work. In the morning, the only coffee available in our room was decaf, After my shower, I reached for a presumably clean towel, only to be greeted with a towel that had 1) a blood stain and 2) a fecal stain – I used my husband’s soggy towel. As we walked by the pool on our way to breakfast, the bottom of the pool was simply not visible. Yet we made our way to the breakfast room – there was no milk for cereal, it had been recalled but not replaced, the coffee bar was filthy and the tall windows were moldy & had cobwebs dripping from the frame. And we paid $290 + change for the privilege of staying in your dump of a hotel. As an FYI, in a previous life, while attending graduate school, my husband worked as a public health sanitarian – I’m guessing the local health department will be visiting you. I’m pretty sure that you will be unable to give me one good reason why we should try Holiday Inn Express ever again, but we are willing to listen. For damned near $300 a night this is absolutely without excuse. Even Hilton doesn’t charge $300 a night & serve up dirty towels.
