Dear Clarion Headquarters -Your pool at the Clarion by the Asheville Airport is in dire need of a complete overhaul

Your pool is falling apart at the Clarion Asheville Airport on Airport Rd. Tiles are completely missing…the edging around the pool is cracked and peeling. Looks disgusting. The hotel is ok on the interior, but both in and outdoor pool deserve a complete remodel.

clarion hotel complaints - I will not be staying at any Clarion Hotels or Choice Hotels

My name is Alice Bagoyo, the reservation staff was very accommodating. I am a manager for one of the programs where I work. The staff at the front desk were not very accommodating, one while checking out was but the others were not really accommodating. I was sitting in the eating area, as I normally do at other facilities, having never been bothered before, but I was asked to leave, to go to the lobby, which was already full. I then was told to go to the second floor. Mind you, I do have a heart condition, and I am limited in mobility. Also, other staffers complained that the kitchen worker was very rude, and yelled at them….she said she is cooking for 100+ people and they would need to leave. This is the last time I will stay at Clarion, this place is very dirty, the floors are dirty, the maid tried to come into the room while I was there, and it was not even check-out time. Needless to say, I will not be recommending nor staying at clarion choice hotels, please take me off my membership. I am also calling corporate about treatment.

The Clarion in Nashville should be closed. The rooms were filthy. Homeless people were sleeping on the lobby floor. I like Clarion and would hate for this one hotel to give Clarion a bad name

Rude person on the phone and when we finally got to the hotel the lady at the front desk was even rudder. when she talked you couldn’t understand her. Our card would not go through. We ended up having to use a different one. We got to tell them we had a 4-pound dog and she griped about that. She kept staring me down. I did not feel welcomed. Have used this place before, wasn’t a problem. Stared to change jokes, but we were both too tired. Will not be going back there. In Grand Junction Colorado.

Hello,

I stayed in room 111 last night, on April 28th, 2023 at around 9pm. I paid for my room in cash, which came out to $142.00 plus tax. Additionally, I put down a $200.00 deposit. After counting my money, I left my blue bank bag with $14,000 in cash in my room on my bed. The money was in đź’Ż dollar bills, with one yellow wrapper containing $1000.00 and the other containing $400.00.

Upon leaving my room, I locked both the door and the back door. I went to the lobby and asked one of your employees if it was safe to keep my money in the room as I had never stayed in a room with an outside back door before. He assured me that it was safe.

I then went to dinner at a restaurant located next door to the hotel, and later went to a gas station. When I returned to my room at around 10pm, I realized that my bank bag was missing. I searched the room, but it was nowhere to be found. I immediately went to the front office to inform them of the robbery and asked them to call the police. However, they told me that I had to call the police myself.

Officer from the Hamden Police Department arrived and I told him everything that had happened. I am now reporting this incident to you as well.
