Comfort Inn, Handicap excessive. Bedding. We arrived at the hotel in Martinsburg, West VA. We arrived early afternoon and were happy we didn’t have to wait for hours. The room was beautiful and clean. I had concerns in the bathroom where there was no safety strips in the bathtubs to prevent slipping, the toilets were very low, as my husband and I have replacements in knee and shoulder. Issues getting up and down using the toilet no where to grab a bar next to toilet to help us getting off and on the toilet. Needs to be addressed. # 2 Bedding. Looked beautiful but the comforter was not a what it supposed to be to be and was more of a mattress cover. Couldn’t tell sheets from comforter. Everything else was great except the bedding and bathroom issues for the handicap. Staff was very nice and helpful. Hopefully you will look into the handicap items and make it easier for seniors who have handicap issues. Might try a higher toilet. Thank you. If those issues are addressed you might have no accidents in the bathroom and happier customers and make the bedding standout with colors for the comforters. I have no pictures!

Comfort Inn & Suites, Booking and cancellation practices are deceptive. I have filed a complaint with the Oregon State Attorney General’s office. Prior stays at many Comfort Inn hotels throughout the western states over the past 15+ years have always been good to very good, but Not so with Comfort Inn Suites Eugene Oregon.

Comfor Inn Disappointing Experience

Comfort Inn, I checked into to this place with a 5 night reservation into a suite and 3 hours after checking in we lost power and when I say we lost power it was pitch black on the 3rd floor, no elevator, no back up generator, no lights in hallways, stairwells. If I had no phone for a flashlight I would not have been able to make any moves within the room and certainly not to attempt to exit the hotel without killing myself trying to get 3 floors down in pitch black halls and stairwells. That was one of many disturbing and upsetting not to mention unsafe and unproffessional issues. I shouldn’t need to mention the condition and cleanliness or lack thereof with the suite itself. Ashes on bathroom floor, beer caps under desk, candy bar wrappers on floor between bed and nightstand, unable to see yourself in the mirrors due to how filthy they were and no sheets or blankets or pillows for pull out couch any where to be found. Front desk less than helpful, completely oblivious to how messed up the whole deal is and was.

Comfort Inn Kings Mountain NC Frustrating Experience

Comfort Inn, Worst hotel stay ever! I had a reservation for a two night stay at the Comfort Inn in Kings Mountain, NC. When I went to my assigned room the floors were horrid. No matter where I stepped, my feet stuck to the floor. Second room was better. Came back from getting dinner and my key cards wouldn’t work. I was out the whole next day and when I returned my key card wouldn’t work again. When I went back after getting it fixed again and opened my door, Everything was gone. My computers, clothes, personal coffee machine, toiletries, everything I had in the refrigerator and my suitcases. They found my things in a closet near the front desk but no one could tell my why. The only answer I could get is there must have been a glitch in the computer and they thought I was supposed to check out. No one even made the slightest attempt to contact me. No one even helped me bring everything back up to my room either. Turns out they took 4 of my beers from the fridge and a brand new bottle of body wash. The owner gave me a discount of $33.83 for my trouble and losses. That was a slap in the face. I was supposed to get a Duke Energy employee discount. They didn’t even give me that. Most horrific hotel stay ever.

Comfort Inn DIsappointing Experience

Comfort Inn, The place last night that the kids stayed at was horrible. I submitted this review: Do Not Stay Here!! My family and 2 kids under 3 years of age stayed at this hotel for one evening on 2/16/2025. The first red flag was the strong smell of drugs in the elevator and in the hallway of the 3rd floor. The second red flag was people bringing in bulk food, laundry detergent and other items. The third red flag was people knocking on their door at 10PM looking for “stuff”. The fourth red flag was the room next to my family’s room in the afternoon of 2/16/2025 (approximately 4-5pm) was being cleaned with people in hazmat suits. The fifth red flag was the morning of 2/17/2025 there was garage and unwanted items laying in the hall way of the 3rd floor. I believe this hotel is being utilized as subsidized housing (perhaps from the hurricanes or other issues). I’m angry because I paid for my family to stay there at $200+ for one night and my family did Not feel safe there.
