Reach Comfort Inn Corporate Office 

Stayed at the Comfort Inn in Orange, Virginia 1/27/24. The room had bed bugs, stink bugs, and beetles. The heat/ac didn’t work correctly, blazing hot one minute, cold the next. The room was dirty, hair stuck to the floor in the bathroom and black stuff in the tile grout. TV didn’t work, dead bugs on window sill and bathroom counter, live bugs on the furniture and crawling on the walls, bed bugs crawling on the bed. Sheets had stains on them. Hot and Cold water hooked up backwards at the bathroom sink. Tried to report this to overnight worker at about midnight, but they were no where to be found. The next morning I notified the staff. They would not credit my account, charged me full price and refused to give me a refund, they said because I stayed there, like I would have gone out to the parking lot to sleep in my truck? While I know it’s independently owned, It says “Comfort Inn”. So as far as I am concerned, “Comfort Inn” doesn’t care about it’s customers and we certainly aren’t going to stay at a Comfort Inn or Choice Hotel again. On Sept 3rd, 2023 we made plans to go to the UP of Michigan on vacation, we have stayed at Comfort Inn Manistque Mich. many times and had no problems, We called the Comfort Inn to make reservations and were directed to a reservation service, and they took our cc card and said they would make the reservation, we then received an email that the res. was made, but was at the wrong place.Michigan City Indiana. we called immediately and were told tough luck, no refund., the bill was $534.00 they just stole our money. We realize all the scams going on but never expected this from Comfort Inn. Is this how you do business?

Comfort Inn in Junction City Ks. Told us they charge $40/night extra for a Registered Service Animal. I am disabled and we were told it made no difference if it was a registered service dog or not, it would be an extra $40 charge. That is illegal under the ADA. We ended up going elsewhere.

Always stayed here as it is quiet, nice neighborhood, is safe, the car is safe to leave while traveling & super shuttle service. Returning to the USA & getting our shuttle, there was a delay but he came after 2nd call. But we had to pick up folks at Int’l Terminal #5 – okay. We were informed at least 20 people who were “Legal” immigrants from other countries mostly Africa & approved by the Embassy would be loading. Huge plastic-like bags of their belongings into the van – men, women, children – bags were like 42″ x 42″ x 18″. These people had not bathed for days & they were tired & smelly. And, another batch was to arrive at 11 pm he had to pick up. I was surprised an upscale hotel did this. Will never use it again.

My husband traveled for business last weekend and stayed in your Ashville, NC hotel and got bed bugs from the hotel!!! we left messages and no one has returned my call. I see your hotel listed on the bed bug registry as well. Please have someone contact us ASAP
