Rainforest Cafe Las Vegas NV Terrible Birthday Experience

April 7, 2025

Rainforest Cafe, The poorest customer service I have ever seen! I would like to complain about our latest experience at the Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas Nevada. On April 5th as part of my daughter’s birthday she had asked to go to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. As such, my wife had made reservations online and we received a confirmation number for our reservation which was to be at 7:30. We arrived around 7:20 and attempted to check in. At that time, we were told we did not have a reservation. As I was sitting with my wife when she made the reservation and the fact that she used my phone, I was more than positive we did. The hostess then told me without a reservation it was a 30 min wait. I told her ok and please put us on the wait list, which she did. The time was approximately 7:40 pm. During our wait we were able to find a copy of our reservation, which for some reason had now been changed to 7:15 pm the next day. By then it was almost 8 o’clock so we just decided to wait. At about 10 minutes after 8:00, I again asked the hostess how much longer it would be. At that time a supervisor spoke with me and indicated it would only be another 5 minutes, so we waited. I had 5 hungry children with me at the time the oldest of which was 7:00. At 8:35 I again approached the hostess stand just as they called our name. While at the table the waiter came and asked for our drinks. After that he never returned to our table for another 35 plus minutes. By then one of my daughters had fallen asleep while my 3-year-old was crying because she was hungry. I didn’t even have any water I could give her. I therefore stopped another waitress and asked if we could get some service. She promptly stated she would get a manager even though we never asked for one. Shortly thereafter a lady approached our table and asked what the problem was. She did not identify herself by name or title. At that time, I began to explain that although we had reservation at 7:30 we had to wait over an hour to be seated. Then after being seated we had to wait another 35 minutes and still had not even gotten anything to drink. Her response was and I quote ” your reservation was for tomorrow.” I indicated that although I believed the date and time was somehow switched, we had waited just like everybody else as a walk in, and even though we were told it would only be about thirty minutes we had waited over an hour. Her response was, “Yeah, I’m sorry. We should have made you wait longer”. I couldn’t believe her response and asked what did you say. To which she again repeated herself. I replied you’re not sorry, but you will be after I speak to management. She replied yeah, they’re not going to do nothing anyway. At which time I said yes, they will because I will call corporate and talk to the CEO if I have to. I then asked for her name and title, and she said “Elizabeth”. I then asked for a last name which she refused to give. I then asked for her supervisor’s name, and she said he already went home, she then just simply walked away having resolved nothing. As far as our food, our kid’s food was cold, and my wife’s $45-dollar steak was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. When I told her I would send it back she simply said no, I just want to go. She later confessed she thought that they had cooked our food that way on purpose, because we complained the first time so she was afraid they might do something else. I also had her take a picture of the meat as proof. As we enjoy eating at Landry’s franchises all the time this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Don’t know if we will ever go back.

Rainforest Cafe Orlando FL Disappointing

February 11, 2025

Rainforest Cafe, Went to the Rainforest Cafe inside Disney Springs in Florida. Ordered pasta and it was not good, No Flavor, and for the price they served a tiny piece of bread that was 2 bites! Never again will I eat at a Rainforest Cafe. Over priced and the food was terrible!

Rainforest Cafe Ontario CA Excellent

January 18, 2025

Rainforest Cafe, Great Food and Service. I hadn’t been here in years. Our family went to the Rainforest Cafe in Ontario, CA on 1/11/2025 (@ 4pm) to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday. The gentleman that served our table (Justin) provided outstanding service and should be commended for it. He was serving several tables at the time under stressful conditions and he did it all with a smile and great attitude. He did not forget anything or about us and we were a large party he was serving. He exemplifies all the qualities a person wants to see in the service industry. The food and atmosphere was great. He made it a memorable and pleasant celebration. Please express my appreciation to him. I will most certainly visit that location again. Thank you!
