Raley's Store 506 Disappointing Issue

Raley’s, Too many relatives at one place. Shopping in store # 506 overhearing a conversation with employees that all her family members work with her at the store. Now this lady said her sister, her aunty, cousin girlfriend, and her cousin work there and their all leads or have manager authority. Now I’;ve been in retail for almost 25 years and that wasn’t allowed. Furthermore, I don’t think that its right for this to be going on in a big-time franchise like Raley’s this makes me rethink ever shopping with this business.

Raley's Disappointing Customer Service

Raley’s, Terrible Customer service in Gilroy. Needed assistance at self checkout and kindly asked for help. The middle aged woman with a bun (smoker) was rude and reluctant to assist with a cold and abrupt response to me as if I was a 3 year old. She had a condescending attitude with absolutely zero decorum & very unprofessional. Very disappointed after 15 years of shopping at what Was a friendly & pleasant place to shop.

Raley’s, Outdated packaged produce, outdated cocktail sauce in meat department and no gallon non-fat milk. I have noticed lately the Raley’s located in West Roseville, Ca. is having a problem with supplying fresh food products. Many products I have gone to purchase have simply been put back on the shelf due to it being outdated. The last experience was yesterday 1-2-2025. I wanted to purchase some cocktail sauce, only to see the label showed expired in Dec. 2024. Can’t wait until the new Safeway opens at the corner of Fiddemint and Pleasant Grove. Also they have not been keeping their milk refer stocked very well.

Raley's Brentwood CA Disappointing Refund Issue

Raley’s, No Refund for Bad Wine. I was a very regular customer at Raley’s Brentwood Ca. I purchased groceries on Tuesday 11/26 for Thanksgiving. I was charged full price (not the posted sale price) for the bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay and it was spoiled. I sent a message to customer support and waited a week for no response. When I called customer support, they advised me that they don’t refund liquor. I don’t think this is the right way to treat loyal customers. I am very disappointed and have many local grocery options.

Raley’s, Sandwich bar closing on a Friday night at 5:30. What the heck? Oroville closes their sandwich bar at 5:30 on a Friday night. I can not think of one good reason that any manager would allow that to happen. There is always extra help around the store that can fill in to help where needed. This closure has now screwed up my grand daughter’s 17 birthday party. Hope the store is proud of the fact. Love the rest to the store but the deli is a joke.
