Raley's Oroville CA

October 18, 2024

Raley’s, Sandwich bar closing on a Friday night at 5:30. What the heck? Oroville closes their sandwich bar at 5:30 on a Friday night. I can not think of one good reason that any manager would allow that to happen. There is always extra help around the store that can fill in to help where needed. This closure has now screwed up my grand daughter’s 17 birthday party. Hope the store is proud of the fact. Love the rest to the store but the deli is a joke.

Raley's Roseville CA

Raley’s Music Choices. I was in your Foothills, Roseville store # 512, around 8pm tonight, October 5th. (I have shopped there for probably almost 25 years.) As my husband and I got closer to the store, we could hear super loud rock’n roll music from the edge of the parking lot. As we went to park in the front, we realized it was coming from your store. We went into the store, and the music wasn’t that loud, as we wiped our cart and began looking around. We only needed a few items, and I have a knee injury I’m trying to recover from, so we didn’t plan on staying too long. As we got to the back of the store, I couldn’t even hear my husband over that stupid music! I saw an assistant manager who has helped us many times with other things, and asked her if they could turn down the music. Before I could finish my sentence, she was rude and talking over the top of me saying that music choice and volume were controlled solely by your corporate offices. I was a manager at Kohl’s for many years, and I know that’s a lie, at least the volume part. I’ve been in your store in the evenings before, and was told that, “This is the night crew’s choice and they’re blasting it because they need the energy.” I’ve been told many stories/lies like this over the years after requesting to change the music! I was raised by hippies listening to Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, etc. so I do like rock, but this is ridiculous. Will someone please email me, and let me know what the problem is? I’m ready to give up on my favorite Bel-Air store forever and go to Safeway, or even Wal-Mart.

Raley’s App & Coupon Issues

September 30, 2024

Raley’s, Disabled customers. The Raley’s App for shopping is misleading and very hard to use for Disabled customers and elderly. As a veteran or elderly the coupon App useless most of us are generations behind can’t use phones or spotty Service leads to extra expenses. The cashier should be able to scan our something extra barcode for elderly & disabled and hit a button on the computer to apply all coupons nessary. I don’t want to shop and fight with coupons.

Raley's Customer Service and Convenience Sacramento CA

April 30, 2024

Customer Service and Restroom Accessibility! This review is about the Raley’s store in West Sacramento., CA. Being the location for Raley’s corporate headquarters, I would think this would be the flagship store. It has a number of deficiencies. 1. Restroom access is now restricted to an access code lock. A call button is located at the restroom site to request access to the restrooms. The wait time for access is ridiculous. If the problem is with homeless individuals using the facilities, the security guards or Raley’s employees should be vetting individuals walking into the store. 2. The number of checkers available when lines become lengthy is typically a problem, with extended wait times for customers to checkout. We pay enough now for groceries that the affordability of additional staff shouldn’t be an issue. Perhaps more “Quick Check” access. 3. Why is the second set of entry doors to the store now always closed? If security is an issue. The bank should provide its own security for the bank entry to the facility, while Raley’s provides one for the other entrance to the store. Or, Raley’s provides armed security for both entries to the store. An armed guard is currently on duty at the only current entrance. It would be much more convenient for shoppers to have access at both ends of the store. If Raley’s is truly concerned with customer service and convenience, these listed items would be a good start.

Raley's Customer Service Issue

February 22, 2024

Let’s get down to basics and good in person customer service and less technology gimmicks! Why can’t Raley’s go back in time and provide real “sales” without requiring the customer to go through Smart phone apps and learning how to add apps and to navigate through your apps to select certain “on sale” items? It is truly frustrating. I’m sure Tom Raley didn’t require his customers to go through all these new technologies and apps in order to get something on sale. Plus, your software doesn’t work that well even with skilled customers. I think Raley’s would be wise to drop all the tech gimmicks to stay in touch with its customers – simple, in person good customer service will do more to establish and maintain a relationship than these software apps and requirements to select those weekly digital coupons in order to benefit from your sales. Let’s face it, the older generations are less likely to buy from Raley’s if you continue to make it difficult to buy items on sale.
