Red Lobster corporate office and Restaurant Support Center in Orlando, Florida
Red Lobster’s corporate headquarters and Restaurant Support Center are located in Orlando, Florida.

The Orlando office supports Red Lobster’s restaurant operations, finance, marketing, development, legal, technology, human resources, supply chain, and other corporate functions. Restaurant guests should normally begin with the local restaurant manager or Red Lobster Guest Relations rather than relying only on the corporate switchboard.

The privacy and compliance telephone number is intended for privacy rights, data practices, and compliance-related inquiries. It should not be used as the primary number for a food, restaurant, order, rewards, or service complaint.

Important Red Lobster Ownership Update

Thai Union Group is no longer Red Lobster’s parent company.

Red Lobster filed for Chapter 11 restructuring in 2024 and exited bankruptcy on September 16, 2024, following its acquisition by RL Investor Holdings LLC. The acquiring entity was established by funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group alongside TCW Private Credit and Blue Torch.

Red Lobster now operates as an independent, privately held restaurant company. Current Red Lobster websites identify RL Investor Holdings LLC as the owner or controlling company associated with the brand’s online services.

References to Thai Union as Red Lobster’s present parent should therefore be treated as outdated. Thai Union was previously an owner and investor but is not the company’s current parent.

How to Contact Red Lobster About a Restaurant Complaint

For a problem involving food, service, cleanliness, a reservation, a missing item, an incorrect charge, a long wait, employee conduct, or restaurant management, begin with the location where the incident occurred.

  1. Speak with the manager on duty. Give the manager an opportunity to inspect the food, review the receipt, correct an order, explain a charge, or address the service problem while you are still at the restaurant.
  2. Keep the receipt. Save the restaurant location, date, approximate time, server information, order number, items purchased, payment method, and amount charged.
  3. Photograph the problem when appropriate. Photos may help document an incorrect order, foreign object, undercooked food, damaged packaging, or missing items.
  4. Contact the restaurant’s general manager. If the manager on duty cannot resolve the concern, ask when the general manager will be available.
  5. Submit the official Red Lobster contact form. Choose “Issue or Concern” and include the location, visit date, receipt details, previous response, and requested resolution.
  6. Contact Guest Relations. Call 1-800-562-7837 when telephone assistance is appropriate.
  7. Request documented escalation. Ask that your concern be sent to the restaurant’s district, regional, operations, or Guest Relations leadership when the local restaurant has not resolved it.

State the resolution you are seeking. Examples include an explanation, apology, corrected charge, replacement order, gift card, reimbursement review, rewards adjustment, management follow-up, or confirmation that a food-safety concern was investigated.

How to Request a Refund From Red Lobster

A refund is not automatic simply because a guest is dissatisfied. The appropriate response may depend on what happened, whether the restaurant was given an opportunity to correct the problem, the method of payment, whether the order came through Red Lobster or a delivery marketplace, and what records are available.

For a refund or reimbursement request:

  • Keep the original receipt or digital order confirmation.
  • Identify the restaurant and visit date.
  • Explain which item or charge is disputed.
  • Describe whether the food was consumed, returned, replaced, or discarded.
  • State what the manager offered at the restaurant.
  • Provide the Red Lobster Guest Relations case information, if available.
  • State the specific amount or resolution requested.

If the restaurant already removed an item from the bill, explain why you believe an additional adjustment is warranted. Red Lobster may review the request but is not required to approve every refund, reimbursement, gift card, or complimentary-meal request.

Red Lobster Online Order and Delivery Complaints

The correct support route depends on how the order was placed.

Order Placed Directly With Red Lobster

Contact the restaurant shown on the confirmation and use Red Lobster’s official contact form if the restaurant does not resolve the issue. Save the order number, receipt, confirmation email, pickup or delivery time, and photographs of missing or incorrect items.

Order Placed Through a Delivery Marketplace

If the transaction was completed through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or another delivery marketplace, use that platform’s order-support and refund process. The delivery company may control the payment, refund, driver, delivery fee, tip, and account records even though the food came from Red Lobster.

Contact Red Lobster as well when the complaint concerns food preparation, packaging, allergens, or restaurant conduct rather than only the delivery itself.

Red Lobster Reservation and Large-Party Complaints

Restaurant seating practices, call-ahead arrangements, waitlists, and large-party availability can vary by location, date, staffing, and restaurant capacity.

When arranging a large gathering:

  • Confirm whether the restaurant accepts reservations or only call-ahead seating.
  • Ask for the name or position of the person confirming the arrangement.
  • Repeat the date, time, party size, and telephone number.
  • Request written confirmation when available.
  • Call the restaurant again before traveling, especially on a holiday.
  • Ask whether the party may need to be divided among multiple tables.

If a confirmed arrangement is missing when the group arrives, speak with the manager and document the name of the restaurant, date, time, party size, and what was previously promised.

Red Lobster Food-Quality and Cleanliness Complaints

Current reader complaints include allegations involving cold or lukewarm food, watery soup, a dry baked potato, insufficient toppings, small side portions, a dirty utensil, a shell in an appetizer, and dissatisfaction with a changed sauce recipe.

Guests should bring food-quality or cleanliness problems to the manager’s attention before leaving whenever possible. The restaurant may need to inspect the food, kitchen ticket, tableware, preparation process, or employee handling to understand what occurred.

When reporting the issue later, include:

  • The restaurant address or city
  • Date and approximate time
  • Receipt or order number
  • Items involved
  • What was wrong
  • Whether the food was returned or replaced
  • Manager’s response
  • Any photographs
  • The resolution requested

Red Lobster Food Illness or Safety Concerns

A guest who believes food may have caused an illness should prioritize appropriate medical care. A restaurant complaint website cannot diagnose the cause of an illness or determine whether a specific meal was responsible.

Preserve the receipt, note what each person ate, record when symptoms began, and contact the restaurant promptly. Serious or suspected foodborne illness may also be reported to the appropriate local or state health department.

For a foreign object, possible contamination, undercooked food, allergic reaction, or other potential safety concern, preserve photographs and packaging when it is safe to do so. Do not post medical records, full birth dates, insurance information, or other sensitive health details in a public review.

Red Lobster Allergy and Nutrition Questions

Customers with allergy or dietary concerns should review Red Lobster’s current official resources and speak directly with restaurant management before ordering.

Recipes, suppliers, preparation methods, shared equipment, and ingredients may change. An online menu description or older allergy document should not replace direct confirmation for a serious allergy.

Red Lobster Gift-Card Help

For Red Lobster physical gift cards and eGift Cards, call 1-877-720-6601 for balance, activity, and gift-card assistance.

Red Lobster’s current terms state that participating U.S. restaurants accept eligible Red Lobster gift cards. Gift cards generally do not expire, but they may not be replaceable if lost or stolen and may not be valid for catering, third-party delivery, or purchasing another gift card.

For a gift-card problem, keep:

  • The physical card or eGift Card email
  • Purchase receipt
  • Card number, shared only through an official private channel
  • Balance or error-message screenshot
  • Restaurant and transaction information
  • Gift-card support case number

Do not publish the complete gift-card number, PIN, barcode, activation receipt, or balance-check screenshot in a public comment. Anyone who obtains that information may be able to use the remaining value.

My Red Lobster Rewards Complaints

Rewards concerns may involve missing points, account access, an unavailable reward, an incorrect visit history, a receipt that did not scan, duplicate accounts, expired offers, or difficulty redeeming points.

Use the Red Lobster Rewards app, official website, Guest Relations contact form, or 1-800-562-7837. Include the visit date, restaurant, receipt number, purchase amount, email address associated with the account, and screenshots of the issue.

Do not post your password, login code, complete receipt barcode, personal telephone number, or account-access information publicly.

How to Escalate an Unresolved Red Lobster Complaint

  1. Document the incident. Keep receipts, order confirmations, photographs, restaurant details, names or positions of managers, and prior messages.
  2. Contact the restaurant manager. Many food, service, seating, and billing concerns can be handled locally.
  3. Use Red Lobster’s official contact form. Select the appropriate issue category and provide a concise account.
  4. Call Guest Relations. Use 1-800-562-7837 when telephone escalation is needed.
  5. Request a case or reference number. Save the number with the date and promised next step.
  6. Ask for district or regional review. This may be appropriate when the complaint involves local management or remains unresolved after repeated contact.
  7. Send written correspondence when necessary. Address it to Guest Relations at RL Investor Holdings LLC, 450 S. Orange Avenue, Suite 800, Orlando, FL 32801-3383.
  8. Contact the appropriate outside organization. Depending on the issue, this may include a delivery marketplace, payment-card issuer, local health department, state consumer-protection office, or attorney.

A useful written escalation is brief and chronological. Include what happened, when it happened, where it happened, what Red Lobster has already done, and the specific action you are requesting.

Can You Contact the Red Lobster CEO About a Complaint?

Damola Adamolekun is the chief executive officer of Red Lobster. Consumers should generally use the company’s restaurant-management and Guest Relations channels instead of searching for private executive contact information.

A corporate complaint is more likely to be routed properly when it includes the restaurant location, receipt information, Guest Relations case number, previous response, supporting documentation, and requested resolution.

Red Lobster Reviews and Complaints

The reviews currently visible on CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com include complaints about food temperature, food preparation, side-dish quality, restaurant cleanliness, a missing large-party reservation, recipe changes, and dissatisfaction with how a restaurant handled an occasion.

One reviewer described an anniversary meal involving allegedly lukewarm food, a shell in an appetizer, poor-quality asparagus, and a dry baked potato. Another reported that a large holiday reservation was not found when the party arrived. A separate review raised concerns about cold soup, a dirty utensil, side portions, and salad dressing.

Another reader objected to a change in Red Lobster’s traditional tartar sauce. One positive review praised the gluten-free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix sold in grocery stores.

These reviews represent individual reader experiences and opinions. CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com does not independently verify every meal, conversation, reservation, illness claim, recipe change, refund request, or management response described in a public comment.

A useful Red Lobster review identifies the restaurant city, approximate visit date, order type, general issue, manager or Guest Relations response, requested resolution, and whether the concern was resolved.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience

February 7, 2025

Red Lobster, Poor kitchen service and food. My wife and I chose to go to your restaurant on February 1, 2025, to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We were greatly disappointed with the quality of the food, and the quality of the service from kitchen. My wife had ordered an appetizer, lobster on some sort of cracker or bread. After waiting a long time, we asked our waiter why the hold-up? He said another waiter/server had taken my wife’s order. So, he needed to order another one. When she got it, it was lukewarm, and her first bite had a piece of shell in it. She refused to eat it and had it returned. She did not want another one. She also ordered the asparagus. What she got was also lukewarm and was the most anemic, skinny, toothpick sized asparagus we had ever seen. She also sent that back. She did not want it replaced. She had lost her appetite completely. I ordered a double order of the fried shrimp with a “loaded” baked potato. The shrimp was fine. But the baked potato was dried out and they definitely did not Load the baked potato. There was very little topping put on it. It was a disgrace. I ate what I could of it. All we wanted to do is leave. We used to like Red Lobster. You are a sorry excuse for a restaurant in Frederick County, or anywhere. We feel the waiter did his job well. We were pleased with his service. It’s a shame he has to try to earn a living where the cooks and management tie his hands. He did his best trying to come up with excuses to save your reputation. Let’s face it. It was terrible. Our bill was adjusted for the food returned. Considering how bad everything was, we should have demanded the entire cost of the bill be subtracted. We will not be coming back to Red Lobster again. It would be nice if you reimbursed us for what we did pay. The waiter should still get his tip. He did his job.

Red Lobster Johnson City TN Frustrating Issue

December 26, 2024

Red Lobster, Family Christmas Dinner Celebration Disaster. On December 20,2024 I contacted one of your restaurants in Johnson City TN.37601 and requested reservations for a party of 12 for December 25th at 5pm. The young lady took the information and confirmed the information as well as my phone number. I failed to inquire of her name as I didn’t see a need for it. Today, December 25, 2024 at 4:40pm, my party arrived. I approached the greeter station and identified myself and that I have a 5pm reservation for a party of 12, I was immediately advised they only reserve for 10 guests, and my reservation wasn’t in the system. I requested to see manager on duty, she arrived and went through the same spiel to show me there was no reservation for 12 guests, but we can put you on the waiting list and there is a 90-minute wait, she made no effort to accommodate my party. We had a 40-minute commute to traverse to the location. Meanwhile my son was standing close to the greeter station an overheard there was another reservation that fell through the cracks, and on of the greeter staff indicated to another employee that she was sure she put the reservations in the computer, evidently not. I’m sure your establishment cannot afford too many of these complaints.

Red Lobster Disappointing Customer Service

December 14, 2024

Red Lobster, Food is not what it use to be. Our group from the local hospital we are volunteering at and get together to celebrate life and we have been there more than once. However, I have never had an experience like this before. There are 5 of us and 3 out of the 5 were not happy with the food. The soup was so watery and cold it was sent back, one of our knives was dirty and had something on it had to get a new one, the baked potato was so small for the price and I had asked for a loaded potato which it didn’t look like in the past, the salads looked okay until you put the dressing on them, the ranch was watery and to be honest my stomach has not been the same for over 24 hrs. What is going on there? Is there a problem in the kitchen or with management please someone step in or do you need a mystery shopper to keep you informed.

Red Lobster Tartar Sauce Issue

November 18, 2024

Red Lobster, Change in Tartar sauce. You changed your traditional tartar sauce to something that is not as good! Yes it is a tartar sauce but not the traditional tartar sauce that Red Lobster has been known by. We would buy it by the pint and have at home also. The one served now is no where near the traditional tartar sauce.
