Spirit Halloween Christmas Offensive

Spirit Halloween, Christmas. I want to explain what it was like for me as a consumer to walk into your “store”, Spirit Christmas today. I was looking for a couple of items to complete my Mrs. Claus outfit that I will be wearing to surprise my 4 and 2 year old grandsons this year. I want to make their Christmas very special because my daughter is expecting triplet little girls around Christmas, and she may not be with her children for Christmas. Since she may be hospitalized for bed rest or for the delivery of our triple crown, she wants Christmas to be as special as if she were home with them. So, I wanted to help my daughter’s vision become reality. Much to my chagrin, I walked into your store to find it pretty haphazard. False walls were put up, random racks were on display which made it feel as temporary as it is in actuality. It’s really not very clean either. However, the thing that struck me most was the rack with items such as gift bags and other items blatantly stating “Merry F— Christmas”. Not just on one item, but on many items. Not just on a rack that is high and out of reach, but one that is low and within the reach and visual perspective of children. And, yes, there were many children present. I went to the manager of the store who stated that she has also mentioned how offensive and inappropriate these items are, but to no avail. I certainly don’t blame her for something that comes directly from the Corporate minds of Spencer’s and Spirit Halloween and Spirit Christmas. I would like to ask whose idea was it to purchase and display these specific items for sale. Not only does your store not depict anything regarding the true meaning of Christmas, which in case you are unaware, is the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your store is set up to be temporary in nature and imparts upon our community cheap, low-end, uncouth merchandise. As I was noticing this merchandise in disbelief, there were other adults who were quite insulted and offended. I will be contacting the real estate company not to permit Spirit Halloween and Spirit Christmas to return to our neighborhood in the future.

Spirit Halloween Lowell MA Disappointing

Spirit Halloween, Bad product, terrible service. I purchased a Trick r Treat sitting Sam doll from Spirit Halloween in Lowell, MA for $85 on 10/19/24. When the item was opened on 10/27 at a Halloween themed birthday party, it was damaged and the light up pumpkin didn’t work. Attempted to return to the same store, which is 40 minutes away from me, for a refund on 10/28. I was told that returns ended on 10/18 and I couldn’t even exchange. The manager was rude and unhelpful and when I said I would be opening a dispute with my credit card issuer, the manager replied “Well have a nice ****ing day then”. She looked filthy and was very creepy, not sure if it was a costume? I turned around and noticed there were children in the store and I told her that language wasn’t necessary. She then told me I was ignorant. I will Never shop at Spirit again and they need to hire more professional people to manage their stores. I attempted to call in a complaint at their corporate office and the hold time was over two hours! Ridiculous…
