  1. I wanted to go to the W Fort Lauderdale pool day and asked if dogs were allowed since they have a dog with sunglasses on the advertisement. The manager told me no dogs were allowed unless they are a service dog and have documentation. I told her that she is not allowed by law to ask for documentation nor what ailment I have. She proceeded to get extremely rude and loud with me and demanded that I must show documentation. I decided not to go since the management was that rude, imagine what hassles I would have at the pool. Bad experience and no more W in my future.

  2. I've been visiting W Hotels for awhile now and every experience has been A1, My personal goal is to visit every W Hotel in the world….. My favorite so far is W South Beach. I'm planning to re visit as soon as possible

    Thank You

  3. I stayed at the W in fort Lauderdale Florida this past weekend I checked in Saturday and checked out Monday. During my stay my son got sick and threw up in the bathroom, I did the only normal thing I thought to do was to clean it up with towels, however when I contacted the cleaning lady to come get the towels, I left her up there while I went downstairs to steak 954 to have brunch. When I got back to my room I have a voice message on my cell phone from Nikki at the hotel saying they were charging me 200 to clean the room, which was very disturbing I'm getting charged because I used the hotels towels to clean up my sick child's vomit, all Nikki kept saying was sorry for the inconvenience. What was supposed to be a nice getaway turned into a horrible stay.

  4. Regarding recent stay at the w hotel in fort Lauderdale on sept 4, 2016,I have been a customer of the w for some time, at least 10 times at this location in the last 4 to 5 years,Our experience on sept 4 was very disappointing, our original room was 2021 a recently remodeled and a room I was told was wonderfull. The room was much smaller then expected, the arms on the furniture were dirty, the dining area table was a cheap white wood and glass top with wood chairs that looked like patio furniture, I was having a celebration for my wife and expecting about 8 people for dinner, after many complaints we were moved to suite 803 which was an older room but truly 1000% nicer then the newer room, 803 had a nice full kitchen nice dining table and a much better view, the hotel is under remodel much to my surprise the east pool is closed, the pool tables unaccessable and valet parking was a nightmare at 36 dollars, at $450.00 night the harbor each marriot or the Hilton next door would have been better options, sorry to come across negative but the birthday celebration was fair but not to the level expected, surprising we all walked over to the Hilton and had drinks at there pool area bar and celebrated sometime and the manager after I shared our experience was kind enough to give me a voucher for (wont mention)amount for a stay at the Hilton along with 10 vouchers to share with my clients worth ( $ amount ) as long as I pass on the Hiltons good experience I received, I felt to share this due to I have had good experiences in the past with the w, not this time very disappointing, all the best, MIKE ANDO (954), 33073
