Westin St Thomas disorganized / understaffed

We are currently a guest at the Westin St Thomas. I must tell everyone thinking of staying here to change their mind. The standard here is subpar and the hotel is understaffed. From the restaurants having very slow service to our rooms not being cleaned, we are very disappointed with our stay here. You go on vacation to relax and to be treated with some sort of civility. We had to complain multiple times about the staff and our complaints were not answered. We stayed in a dirty room for two nights because they had no staff to clean it. There was no manager in fact on the property when we escalated the matter. We expect a partial refund for our troubles. This is not the Westin experience we were looking for.

I stayed at the Westin hotel in Virginia Beach Virginia on Saturday December 10 and the morning before check out me and my wife’s room was entered by a hotel associate and he said that he was told our room was empty and it was approximately 40 minutes before check out I have escalated this matter to three diffrent entities of your establishment including Marriott and I have not been helped ..I will be writing a letter to Marriotts corporate office as well …

The valet was full upon arrival. Was very disappointed having to self-park. As a woman, I did not feel safe and was not offered any assistance with luggage from

Public parking. After waiting for bell service for more than 15 minutes. It was almost Midnight so was left with no choice but to self-park and carry my stuff back. Had many valuables I was forced to travel with from outside of the hotel due to only public/self-parking being available.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to say thank you to, and commend the Westin Guam staff. My daughter and a group of her work colleagues were staying at the Westin Guam during Typhoon Mawar. After the typhoon passed, they were offered the chance to move to another hotel with more amenities. The majority declined because the hotel was, as she said, “so amazing making sure we were all safe and fed. Even before the storm, they’ve been amazing.”

She has been all over the world in the past 20 years, and I always worry no matter where she goes, but to know that your staff in Guam took such good care of her and all of the people she was traveling with, just makes me so happy. I know she and her friends were also very helpful in the aftermath of the storm, she told me that one of them was even instrumental in getting the generator back online.

I am so proud of all of them for what they do, and I am so thankful that they have people out there in the world that are willing to help and support them.

Again, I cannot thank you enough for all you have done, it is so much appreciated by all of her family, and I am sure the families of all of her colleagues, and the other guests you took such good care of.

Wonderful experience I had at your Westin Hilton Island Resort and Spa

Good morning, I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience I had at your Westin Hilton Island Resort and Spa. I was there from May 24th to May 27th. My husband and I enjoyed our room. The services provided were excellent. There were several staff members who made our stay so enjoyable: Hero, (he is really a Hero!) the bell stand service member was so kind and helpful. Words cannot express how much we appreciate his kindness and professionalism. In my opinion, he is a model employee. Next, I am very grateful to Bonnie in the Carolina Room Restaurant. She has a smile that can light up an entire room. Lastly, a very special note of appreciation to Owen who also assisted us in the Carolina Room Restaurant, and to Jennel who works in the View 32 Restaurant. Both of these young people were very thoughtful and helpful to us. My husband has Alzheimer’s, and I don’t know how many more vacations we will be able to take. Because of the kindness of your staff, this vacation was most memorable. Thank you so much and please share my appreciation to the individuals mentioned in my correspondence.
