Date, 11-19-2023, around noon 78th and State Ave, KCK. I called Tires Plus to schedule a front-end alignment and also mentioned that there was a defective tire on the vehicle that they had previously installed. He said that no warranty was purchased on the tire when purchased. I said that I realized that but there should be a manufacturer warranty on the tire. He then asked what was wrong and I told him there was a flat spot in the tire and he told me that won’t be warranted due to a flat spot due to the car sitting for some time. I responded by saying that it was not caused by sitting for some time simply because the vehicle had not been sitting. His response was, In the 3 years I’ve had this job I have never seen a manufacturer’s defect in a tire. My thought was, how can you diagnose an issue without even seeing the vehicle? I told him I would bring the car into the shop for the alignment, but before that task, I would have him take a look at the tire and that if he told me the flat spot was due to sitting, I would not be having them due the work on my car, {due the obvious lack of knowledge}. His response was, Don’t even bring the car in for me to look at because I won’t touch your car. You see, Why would I have one flat spot on one tire and none on the other three? What he does not understand is that he might have three years of experience, is that I have been in the automotive field for 40-plus years. It’s not my first rodeo!! The bottom line is, that this flat spot was not caused by sitting as the Tire Plus manager said.

Tires Plus Disappointing Experience

Tires Plus, Beyond unsatisfactory. My car went in there with broken tie rods ends, control arm, cracked rim etc. So they basically said my front end needed replacing ok, that’s obviously my fault that’s why it was there in the first place, so they never told me that the tire on the broken rim was still good so that led to me trying to find a substitute for the oem rim because a oem and tire would cost more than just getting something temp or just getting aftermarket rims which I didn’t and wasted money on because if they would have told me I just needed the rim it would have been a different approach. Also there’s the communication. Very rarely did they reach out to me and when I called them part of the time the person answering had no idea what was going on and the manager wasn’t available. Then there’s the fact that numerous days in a row I was told it was going to be done and it wasn’t and this went on for 2 weeks. Then they ordered a part but the part didn’t come with bushing so that’s another 2 days. Mean while I’m trying to sell my other car and that’s based on the there done so every time they said they were done I told possible buyers they could come for my other car but I had to turn them away because had to keep it because they made false promises. Then thers the fact that the manager Jim yelled at my fiance on the phone and made her cry. Don’t be surprised if I take this further than just a complaint.

Tires Plus Jacksonville FL Disappointing

Tires Plus, I was very disappointed with the experience with Tires Plus in Jacksonville, Fl yesterday 11/07/24. I went in the store to purchase a set of tires for my car and get an alignment. I had an 11 am appointment and left the store about 2pm. The service technician who did the alignment caused my driver door to be damaged by the machine while on the rack. When I entered my car, the driver seat was damp and had a sweat odor. I took off the seat cover and replaced it. I was told that I would get a call from the claims department in a few days. I asked for the claims dept phone number and was told it was only sent my email and that I would have to wait. I am very disappointed and will never use Tires Plus again for any service.

Tires Plus Disappointing Customer Service

October 5, 2024

Tires Plus, Waited 3 hours and 39 minutes to get my old tires put back on. I made an 8:00am appt for Sat Oct 5. I got there at 8am and the guy at the counter said it would 60-90 mins. I said I’d wait. At 8:39am the counter guys calls me and says I ordered the wrong tires and they’ll have to get them blackwood/clementon road supply or store. Note: I didnt order wrong tires, your site recommended the wrong tires. And did again when I checked again. He said maybe 45mins until tires get there and 60-90 mins to install once they do. Per that timeline, I agreed to wait. After 120 mins I go in store and ask counter guy how it’s going. Tires still haven’t arrived at the store. No call or update. My car is up in the air with no tires. I tell him to put my old tires back on, which take another 30 mins. So after 3 hours and 39 minutues of waiting, I have to drive back home on dangerous tires. And the invoice comments are laughable. It says “I ordered the wrong tires” and “I didn’t want to wait”. I’ll pay more somewhere else and get treated with respect.

Lost Business! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star, Carmel Indiana location has nothing but clowns working in there. Set an appointment online to have 4 tires put on, called, and verified the tires would be in stock which they said they were. This was a week in advance so it wasn’t like a day or two beforehand. Arrived to drop it off the guy at the front desk asked me what Tires I had picked online even though he could see the appointment request, then wasted another 10 minutes acting like he was doing something that he wasn’t. He then advises that they have never sold those tires and that Tires Plus has tires online for purchase but the locations don’t have them and cannot get them in. I asked why no one notified me of this and he said Tires Plus does this to get people in the door. Well, too bad for them I went across the street to Midas and gave them the business.
