Extended Stay Disappointing Customer Service

January 18, 2025

Extended Stay, Awful stay. I booked a king bed Jan 17-20,2025. They gave me a queen bed. She said it’s what I booked and there’s no other rooms! There’s no table, no sofa bed, no chair. Cold water in shower. Shower doesn’t put out water very well. She said she would have maintenance fix it by the end of the day! Roaches. There’s a bullet hole in the window. All the lady at the front desk said is the window broke! There’s a mold smell coming from under the sinks. I asked the front desk to change rooms she asked why and I told her. She was very rude!!!!

Extended Stay Main Office - Illegal Activity By The General Manager

January 8, 2024

Watching employees make key cards for their boyfriends to enter rooms without permission- front desk allows illegal items and smoking in most of the rooms- when I complained I was thrown out and lied by staff to the district manager I was “DNR” and do not rent to any location- but I have plenty more evidence for my attorney on retainer and I with 20 others are filing a class action lawsuit- Smoking stuff on the job and especially deals in corporate named clothing

Extended Stay Disappointing Cancelation Policy

January 25, 2025

Extended Stay, Cancelation policy, unfair. I booked a room at the Newark Woodbridge NJ Extended Stay and had to cancel two days later due to an unfortunate change in travel plans. Their policy is cancelation within 24 hours after booking to get a refund. I called the hotel and was informed that once it’;s in the system there is nothing they can do. It is extraordinarily unfair to have such a cancelation policy that robs people — in my case $500 — because my plans changed two days after booking it.

Extended Stay Noise Complaint

January 25, 2025

Extended Stay, Noise complaint. I reside on the lower level and most of the time I am not there until its time to rest. However the resident above me has a child that I promise is being left alone but I can’t prove that unless I call the authorities. I’ve complained to the front desk and the issue is not being addressed. There site indicates that you can have a place of rest at ESA but that’s not the case. There should be a noise complaint fee to combat inconsiderate individuals. But here I am required to pay these weekly fees however I have no peace from midnight to 3 or 4 AM. I will be recording these incidents and upload and then I have requested a new mattress and the one we had since we arrive is dented and uncomfortable but since I can’t get no relief I will continue to submit complaints to their corporate office.

Extended Stay Hotel Experience

January 7, 2025

I stayed at the Extended Stay Hotel from 11/25 to 11/30 and faced several issues during my stay. I had to change rooms four times due to mold in the bathrooms, a faulty door lock, and no hot water. The assistant manager assured me that a $145 credit would be issued toward my payment, which was made through Affirm for the week-long stay. Two weeks after leaving, I followed up with the assistant manager, who claimed he had issued the credit and that it was up to Affirm to apply it. However, after contacting Affirm four times, they confirmed there is no record of any credit being issued in their system. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would like clarity on where the credit stands.
