How to Escalate an Albertsons Complaint

Start with the local Albertsons store if the issue involves checkout service, pricing, a department such as meat, seafood, bakery, deli, pharmacy, produce, or floral, or a specific employee interaction. Ask for the store manager and keep the receipt, product details, and date of the visit.

If the local store does not resolve the issue, contact Albertsons Retail Store / Corporate Support. For delivery or pickup problems, contact Grocery Delivery & Pickup Support and include the order number, delivery date, missing items, substitutions, final receipt, and photos if needed.

If your complaint involves a food safety issue, spoiled food, mislabeled product, possible contamination, or a product recall, keep the packaging and receipt when safe to do so. Grocery Delivery, Rewards, Pricing, and Store Complaint Guidance

For online grocery delivery or pickup, keep the order confirmation, delivery window, substitution notices, final receipt, and messages from the shopper or store. If the issue involves missing items, damaged groceries, wrong items, or temperature-sensitive products, report it quickly through Albertsons Grocery Delivery & Pickup Support.

For Albertsons for U, digital coupon, or app-pricing complaints, use the phone number or email tied to your account. Screenshots of clipped coupons, deal terms, reward balances, and the receipt can help support review the issue.

For local store complaints, include the department involved. A bakery order complaint, pharmacy concern, cashier problem, meat department issue, or pricing dispute may be routed differently than a general store experience complaint.

Product Recalls and Food Safety Guidance

Albertsons Companies posts product recall information for Albertsons and related grocery banners. If you believe you purchased a recalled product, review the recall notice, stop using the product when instructed, keep the packaging if safe, and contact the store or Albertsons support for next steps.

For serious food safety concerns, illness, foreign objects, allergens, spoiled food, or mislabeled products, document the product name, UPC, lot code, sell-by date, store location, and purchase date. Contact the store, Albertsons support, and the appropriate health or food safety authority when needed.

Scam, Fake Coupon, and Fake Support Number Warning

Albertsons Lake Zurich IL Pricing Issue

June 13, 2025

Albertsons, Misleading Pricing at Jewel on Ela in Lake Zurich. I recently tried to check out at the Jewel on Ela in Lake Zurich, IL. The sign for mini watermelons clearly showed a price of $0.99. But when I got to the register, I was charged $4.99. I was told that I needed a phone number account to get the lower price. There was no indication of this requirement on the price sign. As someone who is deaf and doesn’t use a phone, I find this extremely frustrating. It feels like customers who can’t use a phone or don’t have one are being unfairly left out of deals. The posted price should match what’s charged at checkout—no exceptions. Thumbs down to Jewel on Ela for the confusion, and shame on Albertsons for allowing unclear and exclusionary pricing practices.

Albertsons San Diego CA Excellent Experience

May 7, 2025

Albertson’s, A compliment for Store 3179 12475 Rancho Bernardo Road San Diego Ca. 92128! I want to give a tall “shout-out” for this store and its staff!! From Liz, Leticia, Linda, and Rose to “Danny”….they all rock! There isn’t any attitude problems at this store. There are so many other employees there who have been exceptional when we shop there. Excellent job! Today as always, “Danny” was super attentive to all of us in the self-check area. He is never preoccupied or disinterested in each of his customers. I have had to ask him for help a few times and he is absolutely excellent in getting me through my check out needs. Thank You! He deserves a raise and recognition for years of tireless and patient work at this location. I’ve shopped here for over five years now and “Danny” has been an excellent example of an employee who cares about Albertson’s customers. Leticia works so hard and is ever ready to help her customers! She has literally let her beautiful hair down on the job and is not only professional, but lovely. Linda has nothing but cheer to share and she is super real. Rose has the most infectious smile and is so polite in her help of everyone in the store. I love this store as one on my route. Yes, I have to shop around since things are more expensive. One thing I don’t have to do is avoid any of the employees at this store, since all of them are professional and inviting for each of us to enjoy our shopping experience. The management should recognize and reward each of these named employees!!! Thank You! Please give “Danny” the opportunity to advance. He truly deserves it. Last week, he was making himself available to help Rose while she oversaw the self-check out lanes. Guess what? He was on his break and buying items for his own needs…but never tired of helping his fellow employees! Check your camera film and see just how hard he and his fellow employees work!!! Give him a raise please!

Albertsons Las Vegas NV Disappointing Waiting Lines

April 22, 2025

Albertsons, Needs more employees. I am a longtime Albertson’s shopper. Every week when I go to the Albertsons in Village Center in Las Vegas, I find myself waiting in long lines. Yesterday, I was in a half hour line to check out and another half hour line at customer service. It appears as though they don’t have enough help. This store is the closest to where I live, but by the time I complete my shopping and wait in lines, I’ve been there for at least an hour and a half or more. Consequently, the short distance I travel to get there doesn’t help. I may have to start shopping somewhere else!

Didn’t see the spelling. She said the non dairy whip frosting doesn’t come in chocolate. I said I was not told that, She asked if I wanted to speak to manager later as she was at lunch. I said well nothing I can do now cant wait so I took both of them. When my caterer open up cakes, she found I cake spelling of Heveanly was wrong, Hevenly, and the other one Til we meet again was spelled Till. and the hand writing looked like a 5th grader. I want my money back please. And school your bakers on spelling.

Albertsons Disappointing Special Deals

February 15, 2025

Albertsons, Free deals. I have been an Albertsons customer for many of years. My husband and I always enjoy shopping here. Lately we have been very disappointed with your company. Whenever we get a free deal on our App we download it and go right away to the store to get it. It seems like they are always out of it. We have been to numerous stores to find the product and all stores are out. The deal is good for only 3 days and we have noticed that when the deal is off it seems like all the stores have the product in stock. My husband and I wonder if the stores are told to take the product off the shelf just to get customers in to buy. You shouldn’t advertise if you don’t have enough of the products.
