Best Western Kansas City KS Disappointing

Best Western, Becoming a trend. My stay at the Best Western KC Speedway Inn & Suites in Kansas City KS was not much better than my last experience. I should have known the second I stepped on the elevator to get to my room, all the tile in the elevator had been stripped, the lower half of the walls were just “thin-set) looks like trash. I got to my room and find out later in the evening (bed time) that part of the “safety lock” (the piece that prevents the door from being fully breached) was missing rendering the device useless. The directory card in the room states that there are ice machines on each floor……that was a lie. I know because I searched high and low on the second floor, no ice. Then, and here is the icing on the cake, I went to make a cup of coffee and quickly discovered that my coffee pot was just for aesthetical purposes, when I fired it up, nothing…but a lot of boiling over spitting and sputtering. Upon closer inspection, part of the guts had been strategically removed and the whole inside was pretty crusty and nasty…not a favorable way to start your day……

I have a reservation tonight at another Best Western in Albuquerque. Really can’t wait to see what’s in store for me there…….I am a rewards customer, for now anyway. I’ll see how this goes, but really not expecting much at this point. Oh yeah. Did I mention, last nights stay cost me $170…. Totally Not worth it. Save your money and just sleep in your car…….

Best Western Galveston TX Disappointing

Best Western, Galveston TX. Complaint about a location manager. I am calling to complain about your hotel manager at 102 Seawall Blvd in Galveston TX. My husband and I are frequent guests at this location in Galveston. We and another couple stayed there over New Year’s Eve and we left a AT&T phone charger and cord in room 302 and I called immediately when I got home as I knew we left it. I got in touch with the person at the front desk who said housekeeping had found it and they had it at the front desk. I have called relentlessly for seven weeks now trying to get them to return it. The front desk people say that it is packaged at the front desk and the manager comes in and out of there early in the morning about 9 o’clock and leaves shortly there after and is told that I have called and called to please mail this and I will even pay for it. He keeps putting it off tomorrow tomorrow they say and nothing has been done And I asked that he call me. He has not called me. He has made no effort at all. I am told that other people who have left items there have had the same problem with him. He does not take care of business. Hospitality is your business and management is his business and he is not doing a good job. I don’t normally do this, but this guy, and according to some other people in the hotel does not do his job as he should. Would you please check into this for me. I am expecting some action pretty quick. This is a long time to wait and even though he may consider a small item that was brand new and there’s no reason that it’s still sitting at the front desk. Those people at the front desk can do nothing, but he has it all in his hands and does nothing Thank you.

Best Western Liberty MO Frustrating

Best Western Liberty Missouri. I have tried for 2 months now to get a contract from this hotel for a conference in April 2025. The manager, Johnny, was quite pleasant on the phone the One time I spoke to him. Now he will not take my calls, will not return my calls, I’ve sent emails upon emails with No response. My last email was sent today informing him that we will not be utilizing them because of His unacceptable customer service. It took me 2 days to get this conference set up with Hilton. You’ve lost my business forever!

Best Western Disappointing Accomodations

Best Western, So I got a room through Travelocity at Best Western Inn, Jacksonville,AR.for 1 bed, smoking with jetted pool. Getting a room with a jetted bathtub was the whole point for getting the room which the jetted part did not work. Also I know it’s only a courtesy for the hotel to do so but I had asked for a wake up call for 7:30am and we’ll unless the phone is just like the so called jetted bathtub and not work.,Well needless to say I was 2hours late for work.I got fired but practically had to beg my boss for my job back.But I did contact management about the jetted bathtub and the appreciation of the wake up call 🤨🤔😒😤 and all he could do was say quote, “Um, Ok ma’am what is it that I can help you with”.. After I just explained to him what it was I was there in his lobby in the first place….This is the 1st time I’ve used Travelocity and it’ll probably be the last. and my boss is also doing a review for both Travelocity and Best Western along with some very important people. Thx and have a blessed evening.

Best Western Porterville CA Animal Issue

Best Western, My husband and I stayed at the Best Western in Porterville Ca and we had our small dog with us that for 1 they charged $30 for her to stay which is ridiculous, but then when we went to go eat the next morning, we were told that our dog could not go in with us, even though I felt that she is a paying guest, and they refused to let her go in with us even though there was no one in the dining area at that time. I feel like if you are going to charge for an animal to stay as a guest they should be treated like a guest, I spoke to the girl at the front desk about it also and she was very rude, asking me if she was a service animal and I reminded her that by law she couldn’t ask me and she still wanted proof, So I don’t feel like I will ever stay at that Motel again.
