Chewy Disappointing Expired Dog Food

Chewy, Food past the expiration date. I’ve had autoship with Chewy for close to 2 years now. With my February shipment I noticed a odor from the Country Vet Natural product and my dog lost interest in eating her dry food. I looked at the expiration date and was appalled to see 12/30/23 on the bag. Customer service was very accommodating and got a new shipment out to me within 48hrs. The new shipment had an expiration date of 7/30/24…. 8 months past instead of 14 as in the first shipment. So I ask you Chewy, How long do you keep product on the shelves in your warehouse? My local Jewel and Walmart has many different brands of dog food all with future expiration dates. After addressing a customers complaint of an expired date on a shipment with another expired dated shipment, why should I trust Chewy to deal with the freshest product available to be distributed to our pets.

Chewy Frustrating Coupon Issue

Chewy, I’m not complaining about my original complaint of receiving a coupon in the mail that had no expiration date that when I placed an order, I got a message the coupon had expired. Double checked it with a magnifying glass, no expiration. I used the Contact Us thing about it and I didn’t save what they sent but it was so obvious they had not read my message. It’s so annoying when people don’t take time to listen. So I responded to the message and got another agent who apparently didn’t read my message. Now that I’m writing this, I’m wondering if these are AI responses, you know like the ones you face when you go through the help channels. Four times I have requested an address for the CEO of Chewy so I can send him the coupon to see it for himself. That was probably 4 days ago. So today I searched on line for it and after much effort found it but the site made it very clear they were not to be bothered with customer service issues. That really hacks me off and shows the trend in corporate “kma” mentality, but In the course of searching I decided to let it go, after all, I never plan to use Chewy again so who cares.

Chewy Order Issue

Chewy, Package not delivered. Now the reason for today’s issue (and the last one):I am attaching a downloaded copy of my contact with Chewy last night when my order was not delivered. You can see that the package was on the truck out for delivery but because of a “wrong address” (I have used the same address for years and there has never been a problem) the package went back to the Fedex facility.  I pleaded with Chewy to have it delivered today, Sunday but this was not done. I spoke with Fedex today and they told me no one from Chewy contacted them yesterday!The first rep. could not have cared even one bit about my issue.  The $219.00 was taken from the checking account on Friday but I have nothing!  Nothing has been done to assist.  I cannot have a weekday delivery because I work full time and the package will not be on my deck by early evening.  That point was totally ignored by the staff. Never ever do business with them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
