Dennys Disappointing Experience

Dennys, Server Sleeping. At approximately 4:30AM, my sister and I visited this restaurant; the employees were sleeping. We sat ourselves since no one was available to seat us. My flight was later in the morning, so we decided to have breakfast and play a card game. At approximately 5:30, a male employee appeared and the (female) employee woke up. She rudely asked us to leave the area we were sitting in, as her boss was coming in and no one was supposed to be sitting in that area. Well, had she been awake, she could’ve sat us in the appropriate area. I asked if we could finish our game, she and the male employee exchanged glances and reluctantly said “yes”, but as the clock ticked on, she rudely asked us again because the boss was coming in. We picked another booth; she did Not seat us; and the male employee gave us menus and offered drinks. At approximately 6:20AM, we informed another (female) employee who appeared if she could take our food order? she said, “in a minute” and disappeared. There was only one other table with patrons. Seven minutes later, she returned to ask us what we would like to order. For an establishment to advertise open 24 hours and when patrons enter, not greeted and the employees are asleep this is unacceptable. And then to be treated poorly because we were sitting in an area that was “off limits” is wrong. To wait over five minutes for a server to take an order is ridiculous. Denny’s you can do better!!

Dennys, Exceptional Manager – Leesburg FL 34748. Christmas Day 2024, started out well as we drove to our local Denny’s Restaurant in our winter home city of Leesburg, FL 34748. Our mission was to pickup our Christmas dinners for our neighbors and us and return back to our bungalow. Now the adventure begins … upon seeing my wife return to our truck, I attempted start our truck, but no fortune with that! Over the course of 8 hours, I waited for my roadside assistance to come, to know avail; I contacted the manager of the Dennys and explained my situation and that I would have to leave the vehicle in his parking lot overnight. He was most gracious and caring, making me feel far better than I was moments before. The adventure continued until 1:30 PM the following day, 12/26/2024 when the proper tow truck/recovery vehicle pulled out of the parking lot, headed to my repair facility of choice. During the wait on that day, co-ordinating with the Denny’s manager, receiving his total support to help get the parking area around the truck free of other vehicles and placing pylons in adjacent parking areas to create an area for the tow vehicle to maneuver, he was amazingly supportive and helpful. I just want you to know about the exceptional, kind and caring manager at the Leesburg, FL location.

Dennys, Value meal. I saw Value Meal $2 $4 $6 $8 so I tried to order the $2 dollar pancakes the cashier told me that I had to order a meal then I could get the $2 pancakes as an add on that’s not it said on the window advertisement so I had to walk away with no pancakes. this is at San Diego Dennys University Ave 92105 Make window Advertisement clear.

Dennys Whiteland IN Portion Issue

Dennys, My wife and I moved to Whiteland Indiana about five years ago been going to Dennys at Whitland Rd. exit off interstate 65 south two to three times a month. As we ate our breakfast we commented about the changes in the food, the link sausage had gotten smaller, and the bacon had gotten smaller and both had lost the flavor they used to have. we thought maybe it was a onetime thing until we went to checkout, we used our AARP card for the 10% discount we usually always received off our total bill when we ask why we didn’t get to full discount we were informed that we only get the discount on coffee price only now. the waitress informed us that they were under management. Well, there it is, another company going downhill. My wife and I are both retired trying to save where we can. Thanks, Dennys, for letting us know just how important we are.
