Equinox Club is Declining

The Treadmills on the 4th Floor at East 85th Street in NYC – the screens are not working well and the sound does not work on many of the machines.

Overall, the club is declining in cleanliness, and the treadmills are not working well, particularly the screens the sound from the various U-tube and other options. I was told by a couple of the workers on the floors, that the Club Manager is rarely there. I did meet a new person – Stephanie – the assistant manager, and she seemed focused and eager to be responsive. I requested a maintenance person to check the machines and she said she would get it done. I don’t have a lot of confidence, but she at least deserves a chance. The elevator is constantly broken and has been for years; I was told it should be fixed this year. That’s not a good answer, the elevator needs to be replaced and quickly. There are posts on Facebook about this and people are really frustrated.
