Factory Connection Horrible Experience

December 13, 2022

Hello,

I have called and left a message for the regional manager in charge of the Mountain Home AR Factory Connection location, as I had a horrible experience there today, and I wholeheartedly believe that this issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I have never had a negative experience in any department store with an associate of the store. The cashier overheard me make a comment to a friend of mine, which I swear was not directed toward her, regarding the amount of questions that you have to answer just to buy a shirt. My statement was meant in the broadest sense, as that is required at most stores. Most of the time, something like that would have been responded to with “Right?” of “no kidding” even by the cashier! This person started a full on rude and unacceptable confrontation by insisting that I intended that toward her, and even after I tried to assure her that I was not intending to be rude to her and it was not directed toward her, she continued to insist that it was and caused a HUGE scene, refused to let me purchase a shirt, and because I had said a couple of cuss words she insisted I was cussing her, but I did not “cuss her” I simply cussed, which under the circumstances, I believe can be excused given the shock of what was happening. I did not call her a name, nor raise my voice, I was not hostile with her. She said her name was Elizabeth, and that her supervisors name was also Elizabeth. This is either a crazy person or someone who is seriously disgruntled and upset to cause such a confrontation over an innocent statement, that was not made to her nor about her. I hope this message gets to someone who can remove this person from handling the public in general, because something is very WRONG!

Factory Connections - Rude customer service in Franklinton, LA

December 13, 2022

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. The employees are the rudest people. My daughter complains to me that the workers talk about her when she goes in the store and of course, I assumed she was imagining things. I went in with her Sat. 08-19-23 and saw the same thing she did. I was looking for pants to wear to a funeral and did not feel like driving to Dillard’s. We gathered a few things for me and ask for a dressing room. Your worker comes over and ask how many ideas we have and we said 6. She informs us that we can only take 4 in at a time. I can relate to that so my daughter said she would hold the other 2 and hand them in. Once I got in she decided she wanted to see the pants on me so she stated that and left the other items outside the door. The employee comes over to the dressing room and knocks loudly and says only one person in the dressing room. Nothing else not I’m sorry ma’am but our policy states only one person at a time. She was very rude and offensive. I honestly don’t know what she thought we were going to do we didn’t even have purses with us only phones and we were wearing shorts and a t-shirt. My husband and I own a big business in Franklinton. We would be the one that sells change at no cost to your store if the banks are closed and sometimes when they’re open when you need it and yes they come often. I don’t need to steal your clothes or anyone else’s. My daughter has a master’s and I assure you she doesn’t either. If this is your policy that’s fine but I’ve never been told that at any store before. I am a firm believer that there’s always a way to say things and rudely is not an option. I’m sorry but I can’t see myself going back. This was the experience I had at your store but I assure you others have experienced rudeness as well. There was once a post put on FB asking if anyone had a bad experience there. There were a lot of comments and I’m pretty sure one of your own got involved.
