Family Dollar, They are constantly selling expired food and drinks either 50% or d-100 them and give away to random people. They can’t keep employees as the store manager has favorites and will only give hours to a certain 2 people she’s close to then when problems arise calls district claiming to be someone else making multiple calls as said person cause people to either quit or get terminated. Said store manager Honey Hartman will do anything to make sure great employees are fired or quit when all she does is have non-stop smoke breaks, talk about customers rudely both to their face and from a far, she has no demeanor when it comes to time is money and will come in and work all she wants taking up corporate hours and employee hours saying her hours don’t matter because she’s salary yet if she worked a whole 12 hours on Monday Tuesday she’s going to walk up to one of her employees telling them she had to cut their hours because they just went over hours because she “had” to come in. Either close this store down or get a new store manager and fire Honey. I know this isn’t your first and won’t be your last complaint about her.

Family Dollar Not Open On Time Issue

Family Dollar, Zero Stars, Family Dollar must not pay their employees well at all. I am a vendor and no matter what Family Dollar I visit in my area, (I have 22 Family Dollars) NOT ONE is open when the sign says they are supposed to be! I’m currently sitting in the parking lot of one that says open for 8-10. Wrong!! It is 8:51 AM and I’ve been here since 8:14 AM. Lights are off and no one is here. Does corporate even care about these employees or the customers?? What is going on? It’s beyond ridiculous and completely unprofessional! I would never shop in these stores, if I didn’t have to be here to set my products in,I sure wouldn’t!!

Family Dollar, :Formal Complaint Regarding False Accusation and; Unprofessional Conduct. Dear Family Dollar Customer Service, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your Family Dollar location (6611 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, MD 20747 on February 18,2025. I was falsely accused of stealing by the store manager, who was light-skinned with dreads, who wore grey stretch pants and a blue shirt. The situation was handled in an unprofessional and humiliating manner, and I am deeply outraged by the experience. While exiting the store, she proceeded to pull all of my purchased items from my bag and dumped them onto the floor, making a public spectacle out of an unfounded accusation. After being accused, I attempted to return some items, but she informed me that clearance items could not be returned. After asking where does that say it on the receipt, she began to say that it is the store policy. I asked to see the manager and she stated she was the manager. What’s most baffling is that she acknowledged for another employee to ring me up. I overheard a conversation between the manager and the cashier regarding a theft or someone trying to steal that had occurred earlier. In fact, the cashier was looking at the security cameras to show her. As I informed her that not all customers are thieves, and that I understand that someone stole from here earlier, you need to be more aware of customers rather than focusing on cleaning the store. The manager stated that no one stole anything. Despite that, she falsely accused me of stealing, claiming she saw me putting items into my bag the entire time. These accusations were completely unfounded and highly offensive. I am outraged by how I was treated and will no longer be shopping at Family Dollar. This incident was extremely upsetting, as I was wrongfully accused and treated unfairly without any justification. I expect to be treated with respect as a paying customer. Therefore, I am formally requesting a full refund for all items purchased, which I will return along with my receipt. Additionally, I strongly believe that this manager should be held accountable for her actions, as no customer should ever be treated this way. I urge Family Dollar to take immediate action in addressing this matter to ensure that no other customers experience this type of mistreatment. Please provide a response regarding how this issue will be handled, and what actions will be taken against the manager; I would hate to seek legal counsel. I look forward to your prompt attention to this matter. Please let me know the next steps for my refund. Sincerely,

Family Dollar Sandy Valley NV Disappointing

Family Dollar, Crappy food (bio engineered) lousy Management. This if for the store is in Sandy Valley, NV 89019. When trying to shop at this store I noticed the following. Most of the food is horrible and is comprised of three quarters of it being bio engineered. You have to look at every label closely to make sure you’re not eating poisonous altered food. Come on Family Dollar store quit preying on low income people! Get some good healthy food. Number two. The management is the lowest bottom of the barrel employees. They can’t seem to coordinate the shipments and stocking in an efficient manner. When they finally do get the shelves stocked the best foods are gone in two days and you have to wait a week for the next shipment and try to get there before the mad rush! The stores shelves should be stocked all the time even if it means more shipments, or proper stocking methods. There should always be stock in the back that can be rotated forward. When questioning the manager about this, there is always a lame excuse, about delayed shipments etc.,, yet I see boxes on pallets sitting around that haven’t even been opened! Get some decent employees, decent food and competent management and quit preying on lower income people, by selling bioengineered food.
