We purchased a GE refrigerator about 4 months ago. It went out six weeks ago and GE cannot get it fixed. We have had no frig for 6 weeks and have been told multiple stories, none have been true. We are senior citizens and having to travel 30 mins one way to go to the grocery store. We are having to travel to get food every couple of days and with the price of gas, it is really hurting us. They have told us twice that it is going to be picked up and they will bring us a check to buy another refrigerator, but every time it is schedule, they don't show up. This is just plain cruel on GE's part.

Bought a Electric Range a year ago and it already has rust, I do not live near beach or other adverse enviorment. There is no waranty for the range. Sad to see a name like GE make so low grade appliances. Never ever will buy anything GE makes.

I purchased a GE stove and very shortly after things began to go wrong. Last night the oven glass burst out all over my kitchen floor. No reason. Oven was off. I took many pictures. This could be that the product is DEFECTIVE & could cause DAMAGE TO OTHERS. THIS IS A WARNING TO OTHERS ABOUT THE GE GLASS TOP STOVES. I WOULD LIKE LTO HEAR A RESPONSE FROM GE.

6/30/2021 I have been in contact with GE Appliance Support for 1 week trying to purchase a replacement refrigerator, which quit after less than 3 years. Case number 06075571. I was given a price on model GSS23GMKES and can never complete the purchase. I waited for over an hour for a call back on two occasions yesterday. I was placed on hold both times, after 30 minutes the line disconnected. I will try again today as all of my other appliances are GE; however, if unsuccessful I will be forced to purchase another brand. Any assistance you might offer this 79 year old military retiree would be greatly appreciated. My phone number can be found within the case number and numerous emails I have sent to Appliance Support. RJS Frusterated and Disappointed

Don't buy anything from this company, They cheat, steal, lie. I bought a microwave $349 from them. One and a half months after the warranty expired it caught fire, flames were shooting out. If I hadn't been standing in front of it my house would be a loss. I called, they apologized said they would of course extend the warranty and I would receive a full refund. They sent a service tech out to see it, after two canceled appointments he made it on the third appointment. He took pictures, called them, called it a total loss and a defect in the appliance. They said they would send a refund. Then I got a bill for the service call $99. Then they said since it is out of warranty they were going to do me the tremendous favor of refunding $200. But I had to send the original receipt, a photo of the damage, and a photo of the model number. I did. Then they came back and said sorry, we are sending you a coupon for another GE appliance, good for 90 days. Really!!!!!! I am so sick that in the 3 months this has been going on I went out and bought another GE microwave and trim kit totaling $950. This is insulting, criminal, just wrong. I am calling an attorney to see if there is anything I can do as I have all these promises in writing. If I weren't a lady I would fill this with very very choice words.

I have purchased two GE Mini 2.4GHZ mice and they have both only worked for about a month. I do not have the receipts and really would like to get a refund for this.

I purchased a Laundry Center(stacked washer and dryer) less than one year ago. I had the "stainless tub" replaced 3 months after delivery due to rusting in the tub. That tub started rusting 3 weeks after being installed. GE will not replace! They say it's a "cosmetic defective" even though it is inside the "stainless tub" and effectives the performance of cleaning. After I disputed this, they began telling me that I must have done something to the machine to make it rust! I have done nothing but use approved detergent and fabric softener. After elevating the complaint through customer service they agreed to replace the tub, but I had to pay 1/2 the labor cost. WHAT! The machine is still under warranty! I said that this was unacceptable, and they should explain to me how this was my problem. Then they came back and said that I must have left wet clothes in the washer for days that caused the rust. Not true…but here's the 64 dollar question….. Why is a stainless steel tube rusting?????? I bought this type of tube so I would have a clean and sanitary tub. I understand why some grades of stainless steel may rust, but why GE use a low grade of stainless less in a washer tube who's soul function is to be exposed to moisture? I tried to elevate this problem above the Customer Service Supervisor, but she would not give me her last name, nor the name of her Manager. She said they are not allowed to and that her Manager does not speak to Customers. Also, she told me that she did not know the contact information for Ge Corporate offices and that I would have to go on line and find it for myself. She stated that they are the begin and the end of customer service complaints and that there is no where else to go to resolve your dispute. I have never heard of anything like this in my 40 years working in Corporate America. I did tell her that I felt like GE scammed me out of my money and now would not stand behind their product. I'm still looking for recourse with this Company to solve this problem.
