Giant Eagle Pharmacy McKees Rocks (Kennedy Township). I wanted to pass along kudos to one of your employees. At 7:00pm this evening I went into the pharmacy to pick up 2 scripts for my pet. The cashier stated they were not in the system, that my dr. probably didn’t send them in. As usual it was busy both inside and through the drive up. No worries I would check back in the am. At 9:30PM this evening I received a call from your pharamcist Suzanne apologizing that the scripts were still on the line and should have been completed. Knowing that your pharamcy closes at 8:00pm I was surprised to be receiving a call. I can’t tell you what a difference this made that she would take the time 1 1/2 hours after you closed to apologize and let me know it would be ready in the am. What an example of exceptional customer service. I thanked her and told her how much I appreciated her call. Please pass this along to whomever needs to know what a difference, your pharmacist Suzanne made. Thank you.

Giant Eagle Disappointing Customer Service

Giant Eagle, Horrible handling of flashfood products. I am a very loyal shopper of Giant Eagle but an also a bargain shopper. Today was my second experience with driving to the Bridgeville store to pick up my flashfood order for Eggs. The first experience was a month ago and they weren’t there. Today same issue. The money comes out of my account the second I buy products. So now, again I have to wait for the product to be credited. If my item isn’t there, I feel a substitute should be given.

Giant Eagle Please Bring Back Plastic Bags

Giant Eagle, Please return to using plastic grocery bags. The paper bags rip with ease and in the case of today spilled my already very expensive groceries on the ground. I’ve spoke with my local store manager and he claimed it was a corporate decision but I’m not sure about that because I’ve seen plastic at two other locations one being in another state. I don’t believe this change was made for environmental reasons because I’m old enough to remember when we were told we had to switch from paper to plastic to safe trees so which is it? Besides I used the plastic bags for several other things so that’s the epitome of recycling. So as a very loyal customer I’m begging please bring back plastic bags.

Giant Eagle, Knowledge of sales flyer. According to the sales flyer you had vegetable platters starting at 29.99 + up. Went to North Huntington store to get a platter and no one had a clue. Sent me to 3 different locations in the store. Finally found a woman who informed me that I had to preorder them from hot foods. No where in the ad does it say preorder it says store made vegetable platter. Either make your ad more clear or have employees know what the ad should be.

Giant Eagle Streetsboro OH Management Issue

Giant Eagle, My 95 year old mother had problems in the parking lot. A car hit her while walking on a 30 degree day. She went down police and ambulance were called thankfully she had minor injuries. The employees were excellent but management sent her a letter stating that the parking lot was not under their control. Gave name etc. of people owing parking lot. Not once did they even say anything caring just very cold. She’s 95 I feel they could have compassion and concern about her well being but no. We’ve shopped there since they opened but no longer that’s just wrong. The store is in Streetsboro Ohio and this location needs lessons on how to care about customers. I can’t say enough about the employees they were very kind to her and myself, but the management is terrible.
