Giant Eagle, One of the Best Giant Eagle stores for Customer Service and Exemplary Staff. My son works at the Giant Eagle in Fariview Park, Ohio. He has autism and a job coach, he has worked there for 1 1/2 years. The staff, their support and guidance has helped my son grow leaps and bounds, not just as a worker but as an individual who is proud to work at Giant Eagle and loves his job! His confidence and independence has grown, thanks to the opportunity Giant Eagle has provided him. Thank you so much for the staff at Giant Eagle, the manager Joe, creates a culture for his staff that is above the rest, they are helpful, professional and supportive. He leads his staff, supports them and encourages them to work to their fullest potential, he is superior in his role, his qualities flow to his staff with his unique way of providing a positive work culture that the customers notice.

Giant Eagle, Handicap parking. I love that you have handicap parking, but then I have to walk all the way to put the cart back, I have a hard time walking and I wish you could have a cart stand closer to our parking. I love your store so I go often. Hope you can help us handicap people out.

Giant Eagle Frustrating Pharmacy Issue

Giant Eagle, Not getting full prescription at pharmacy. This review is absolutely Not a reflection of the staff or pharmacist at the Milltown Rd., Verona, PA store. This is about what seems to be a Giant Eagle policy. I worked over a couple of years to get all of my prescriptions lined up so they could all be refilled at the same time. All but two had been 90 day refills. When everything was lined up to the same time of month, I was in to see the doctor and asked if my two 30-day prescriptions could be filled for 90 days (have been on both over a year already) and he did call them in for 90-day refills. When I got text message that my scripts were ready for pickup, I noticed all were 90 day supply except for my Ozempic. I asked about why I only got a third of my refill and was told Giant Eagle didn’t allow a 90-day supply for Ozempic. I am not upset with the staff, but I am Very angry with Giant Eagle for messing up my ability to be able to get all my prescriptions refilled at the same time and without having to call in and pickup monthly. I do not shop this store regularly for groceries. Now I still have to remember to call one RX in monthly and still make a trip monthly while all my others are on 90 day supply. This is inconvenient. Why?!!!!

Giant Eagle Disappointing Milk Issue

Giant Eagle, Sour Milk – overall rating Zero Stars! Started my day opening both a quart of 2% milk & a quart of whole milk, both sour, both expiring 5/5. Luckily so I thought, I had a 14 oz size, of 2% expiring 5/15. Not so lucky. When I opened it, I found a bright green spot on the top inside & naturally discarded it. I didn’t think to take a picture. It wasn’t mold.

Giant Eagle Pharmacy McKees Rocks (Kennedy Township). I wanted to pass along kudos to one of your employees. At 7:00pm this evening I went into the pharmacy to pick up 2 scripts for my pet. The cashier stated they were not in the system, that my dr. probably didn’t send them in. As usual it was busy both inside and through the drive up. No worries I would check back in the am. At 9:30PM this evening I received a call from your pharamcist Suzanne apologizing that the scripts were still on the line and should have been completed. Knowing that your pharamcy closes at 8:00pm I was surprised to be receiving a call. I can’t tell you what a difference this made that she would take the time 1 1/2 hours after you closed to apologize and let me know it would be ready in the am. What an example of exceptional customer service. I thanked her and told her how much I appreciated her call. Please pass this along to whomever needs to know what a difference, your pharmacist Suzanne made. Thank you.
