  • We have been notified that your company plans on building another one of your stores on Taft Road in North Syracuse, NY.

    I would like to inform you that my neighborhood is against this. We do not want your store in that location. It would be detrimental to our neighborhood. They would be putting another traffic light on Taft Road, you will only have one excess into your store which would make it extremely dangerous for anyone patronizing your store. That road is already very busy and at peak times it is impossible to make a left at the end of my road.

    At the Town of Clay meeting Tuesday the traffic study was inaccurate at best. Full of falsehoods. There are many other empty buildings and lots that your store could be placed, there is absolutely no reason your store has to be placed on Taft Road. The Town Of Clay planning board already informed the Town of Clay Administration they are against it, it should have been put to rest at that time. But the administration only see tax dollars and do not care of the will of the people. Hopefully they will all be voted out next election.

    I have lived there for thirty years and many of my neighbors have also lived in that area that long. We all agree that we will NEVER EVERY go to your store. We will boycott your store and the grocery store that is also trying to be built there.

    That store will not only downgrade our home values, but be an eyesore when it closes because of no business. I strongly advise your company to find another location. There are plenty of spaces.

  • We the customers of your big box grocery stores are extremely disappointed and displeased with the actions of your store manager, in the Claremont, New Hampshire store. He was out of line, harassing and embarrassing. The New Hampshire mask mandate was lifted and Mr. Manager approached the customer that she wasn't wearing her mask, she said, she has a health condition that she cannot wear the mask and that the mask mandate was lifted by the NH governor. This manager, asked her several times as to what is her condition as to why she cannot wear the mask? 1st of all that is against the law to ask for anyone's health issues as to why she is not able to wear a mask, as we have Healthcare rights called HIPPA, I suggest you provide Mr.Manager, a copy of in order to educate him. He called the cops on her, this was all done in the store and in front of her children. This is disgusting and repulsive, that your manageris allowed to speak and behave in such a disgusting manner. This needs to be corrected and he needs to be terminated. We the people spend our money where we please, so there are other stores to shop at. I will boycot the Hannaford's in my area and spread the word around, please know, people have had enough of this nonsense. The ball is in your court, act on it.thank you and I am very unhappy with Hannaford.

  • Over the past 2 months I purchased a container of ground turkey (2 pounds) 2 packages of sliced onions/peppers and a bottle of buttermilk. All spoiled. The customer service at the MC Falls store is nonexistent. What will you do to make this right?

  • I curl I used to shop at the Brunswick Hannaford they do not anymore cuz they accuse me of stuff the other day when I didn't steal it was an honest mistake and I even told them that they ban me for life either it gets lifted or I'm suing for the entire company and I already have a lawsuit I talk to a lawyer so something's needs 2 be done by the end of today

  • I think it’s pretty crappy that Hannafords Corporation took away her hazard pay without any notice when we thought we had till the end of August as an employee whose work the whole pandemic with rude customers overtired coworkers still giving it their all while the corporate headquarters was able to work from home during the height of the peak Pandemic all the money that was made by this corporation if you don’t want to give us hazard pay how about a two dollar an hour bonus for all the hard work and the risks that we have taken or better yet let’s cut back on the bonuses that corporate And the store managers get think it’s a pretty sad day in history when these grocery stores are making such a huge profits making their employees wear masks all day making it part of their dress code, real crafty…. I can speak for myself and many of my coworkers that we are clearly not essential workers in Corporate eyes… we have worked shorthanded many days put ourselves in our families at risk I’ll because we could not afford to stay home. Just want to give us huge shout out to my fellow coworkers It’s pretty clearThat we are just numbers to corporate

  • I am Sylvia Lane. On 12-22-2018, I sent a registered letter to Hannaford Corporate Office in Maine. According to the green postcard I received later, that letter was signed for on 12-27-2018. Apparently the letter was ignored. This is unfortunate as it brings the situation to an emergency today. Again. My stomach is killing me. I need a quart/liter of Pedialyte immediately and at least 2 Boost brand nutritional shakes with extra protein- chocolate, if you please. These items need to be delivered to my address- you have it on the letter I sent- this morning ASAP. If I get no response and I have to go to the ER again, I will be calling for a lawyer and the Press. I am not ashamed of what your corporate has done to me; I am righteously enraged.   • Bought Hamburg patties , fresh pkg at Hannaford in Wells today , Dec 10 2017 . The package was dated sell by Dec 25 ! That's way too long for fresh not frozen . The meat clerk said , she had to store label it that way because the package is black stamped , pre dated ! That's crazy ! Please address this ! If I bought that meat in 15 days , it would appear to still be good !!!!!

  • Why is it that a Corporation franchise bought a location in Dexter Maine, yet would not give back to the community it does business with?? Your Dexter Hannafords Store will continue to be boycotted until you give your day old goods to the Community Sunday Free Dinner at our Ladies Kitchen.Sad that you think donating the Day Olds and such to the Bangor Shepards Soup Kitchen is out of touch with our community that is so depressed and and hour away of any such donation benefit of food and goods. You own and operate in Dexter, yet expect us to work for you with a smile and shop spending our hard earned monies there and you all think that giving employment is enough to help our community. Well it is not! You should all be ashamed of your selves for opting to send your food donations to another town instead of the town you have a business in. We and many others of us will never shop in your store. We would rather travel to Shaws instead or give Phile the owner operator of P&L. A Better store and community action supporter.   • I'm sick to death of managers in the individual Hannaford stores giving me the song-and-dance routine that they have no say over what comes into their store, i.e., it's all up to Corporate, AND I'm sick and tired of the little-to-no attention given to the "Natural" and "Organic" aisle, e.g. when something runs out, you're just like Walmart; you NEVER replace it or, if you do, it's with something INFERIOR. Obviously, when one gets out of Portland proper, everyone is a hillbilly, and doesn't understand the importance, nor do they care, of organic and natural versus GMO and chemically-laden food! Nothing in your store, if it isn't organic, is safe to ingest!

  • I called your complaint number yesterday and after 10 minutes I hung up and called your corporate number to report a product problem. The person who answered the phone gave me the 800 number that No-one Answers! I told her that and she suggested I keep calling until it gets answered. I replied that I took pictures of the problem Hannifords product and I was going to post it on my Facebook page. She connected me to someone that I left a message for. I have the container of this product so I can give you the run-number. I had bought it the day before I used it, yesterday. I don't want to tarnish your name, I only want to help Hannifords stay successful by producing Quality Products,not Surprise Unpredictably so-soers.
    Please have the person I left the message for contact me without my having to jump through hoops again.I left my name and home number and I the fact that I should be home from work by 1:30 today.   • I was filling 28 prescriptions at the Hannaford's in Jay Maine for my family. Our Dog is on four heart medication's, due to a serious heart condition. What Tamara did to my dog with his medication was horrible and unforgivable!!! She should and needs to be fired!!!! Especially for telling me I can fill my medication's elsewhere which I have done. I spoke with Kim the pharmacy manager and explained what had happened. I also explained you may not care about losing 10,000 dollars a month but cooperate will. What a shame this had to happen. You do not do this to an Animal!!!
