Joann Fabrics Corporate Office: Former Headquarters, Address and Phone

🗨  Comments

Many people search for the Joann Fabrics corporate office, Joann headquarters, or Joann Stores headquarters because they are trying to find old corporate contact information, store closure details, gift card guidance, bankruptcy information, former customer service routes, or a place to share a review about the final JOANN store experience. This page has been updated to reflect that JOANN / Jo-Ann Stores is no longer operating as the national fabric and craft retail chain it once was.

Joann Fabrics Corporate Office and Former Headquarters

JOANN, also known as Joann Fabrics, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, Joann Stores, and Jo-Ann Stores, was formerly headquartered in Hudson, Ohio. The former Joann Fabrics headquarters address is listed below for historical, bankruptcy, review, and corporate-office reference purposes.

  • Former Company: Jo-Ann Stores, LLC / JOANN Inc.
  • Common Brand Names: JOANN, Joann Fabrics, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Joann Fabric and Craft Stores
  • Status: Former U.S. fabric and craft retail chain; stores closed after bankruptcy and liquidation
  • Former Joann Corporate Office Address: 5555 Darrow Rd., Hudson, OH 44236
  • Former Joann Fabrics Headquarters Address: 5555 Darrow Rd., Hudson, OH 44236
  • Legacy Corporate Office Phone Number: 1-330-656-2600
  • Legacy Customer Service Number: 1-888-739-4120
  • Former Website: joann.com
  • Bankruptcy Case Information: JOANN 2025 Restructuring Administration

Important Update: JOANN Stores Have Closed

The old page described Joann Fabric and Craft Stores as an active national retailer. That is no longer accurate. JOANN filed for bankruptcy again in 2025, began liquidation, and moved toward closing its remaining stores. The former joann.com website now redirects shoppers to a Michaels page for former JOANN customers.

Because the company is no longer operating as the same retail chain, the phone numbers and address above should be treated as former or legacy contact information. The former headquarters address may still be useful for historical research, bankruptcy-related records, old correspondence, and customer reviews, but it should not be treated as an active retail customer-service headquarters.

What Happened to Joann Fabrics?

JOANN was a long-running fabric and craft retailer founded in 1943. The company was known for fabric by the yard, yarn, sewing supplies, quilting materials, craft supplies, floral items, seasonal decor, coupons, sewing classes, and local crafting communities.

After bankruptcy and liquidation, JOANN’s physical stores closed. Michaels later acquired JOANN’s intellectual property and private label brands, including Big Twist, but Michaels did not become the old JOANN corporate office or revive the former Joann Stores headquarters in Hudson, Ohio.

Choose the Correct Joann Support Route

Because JOANN is no longer operating as the same national retail chain, support routing is different from a normal active retailer. Use the route below that best matches your issue.

  • Former store complaint: Share a review below if you want to describe a final-store experience, closing-sale issue, pricing concern, or store-service complaint.
  • Bankruptcy or creditor question: Use the JOANN 2025 Kroll restructuring case page for case documents and bankruptcy-related notices.
  • Gift card issue: Review the bankruptcy case information and any official notices. Gift card use was limited during the wind-down, and normal retail customer service may no longer be available.
  • Return or refund issue from before closure: Keep receipts, order confirmations, bank statements, emails, and any liquidation-sale notices. You may need to contact your card issuer, bankruptcy case administrator, or a consumer protection office.
  • Former online order issue: If the order was placed before JOANN stopped operating normally, collect all order records and payment proof before contacting your card issuer or reviewing bankruptcy resources.
  • Current fabric, yarn, or sewing purchases: If you are buying through Michaels, Walmart, Amazon, Hobby Lobby, a local quilt shop, or another retailer, contact that retailer directly. They are not the old JOANN customer service department.
  • Michaels / JOANN brand product question: Contact Michaels if the product is now sold through Michaels or the former joann.com redirect.
  • Former employee or vendor issue: Use bankruptcy case notices, former HR records, payroll documents, or legal/claims guidance rather than the old customer service number.
  • Historical customer service details: Visit the related CSN page for Joann customer service number information.

What to Have Before Contacting a Bankruptcy, Card or Consumer Complaint Route

If you are trying to resolve an old JOANN refund, gift card, order, return, store closing sale, or liquidation-related issue, keep your records organized. Do not post private payment, gift card, account, employment, or personal information in the public review section below.

  • Store location, city, and state
  • Date of purchase, return attempt, gift card use, or store visit
  • Receipt, order number, return confirmation, or cancellation email
  • Gift card purchase proof and balance information, shared only with the appropriate official party
  • Bank or credit card statement showing the disputed charge
  • Emails, chat transcripts, store notices, liquidation-sale terms, or bankruptcy notices
  • Photos of signs, receipts, damaged items, price tags, or posted closing-sale rules when relevant
  • A short timeline explaining what happened and what resolution you are requesting

How to Escalate a Joann Complaint After Store Closures

Escalating a JOANN complaint after the stores closed is different from escalating a normal retail complaint. The former store chain may no longer have a regular customer service department that can issue refunds, handle returns, reopen stores, or resolve gift card balances.

  1. Gather your records. Save receipts, gift card records, online order confirmations, bank statements, emails, and screenshots.
  2. Check the bankruptcy case page. Review the JOANN 2025 restructuring administration page for official notices, case documents, deadlines, and claims-related information.
  3. Contact your card issuer if the issue is a charge dispute. For a recent unresolved charge, duplicate charge, missing refund, or undelivered order, your credit card issuer or bank may be the most practical route.
  4. Use a consumer protection route when appropriate. For unresolved consumer issues, you may contact your state attorney general or consumer protection office.
  5. Contact Michaels only for Michaels issues. Michaels acquired JOANN intellectual property and private label brands, but Michaels is not the same as the old JOANN store complaint department.
  6. Share your experience below. If you want to document a final-store experience, gift card issue, closing-sale complaint, or memory of JOANN, you can leave a review in the public comments without sharing private details.

Gift Card, Refund and Return Issues

Gift card, refund, and return issues are among the most common reasons people now search for Joann Fabrics headquarters or Joann corporate office. During the wind-down, gift card use, returns, online ordering, and normal customer service options changed quickly.

If you still have an unused JOANN gift card or unresolved refund issue, save the gift card number privately, the purchase receipt, any store notices, and any communication you received. Do not post a gift card number, PIN, receipt number, order number, phone number, email address, or home address in public comments.

Online Orders and Joann.com

Joann.com no longer functions as the same JOANN online shopping site that customers used before the closure. The former JOANN website now routes shoppers toward Michaels. If you are placing a new order today through Michaels or another retailer, contact that retailer for any shipping, return, refund, or customer-service issue.

If you are trying to research an older JOANN online order from before the shutdown, gather your email confirmation, order number, charge date, tracking number, and payment record. Depending on the timing and issue, you may need to contact your card issuer, review bankruptcy case resources, or consult a consumer protection office.

Former Employee, Vendor and Bankruptcy Questions

Former JOANN employees, vendors, landlords, and business partners may need different routes than former retail customers. Questions about wages, W-2 forms, severance, vendor invoices, leases, claims, benefits, or bankruptcy notices should be handled through official bankruptcy case resources, former employer documents, payroll records, or professional advice.

Do not post Social Security numbers, employee ID numbers, payroll records, tax documents, medical information, claim numbers, vendor account numbers, or private legal information in public comments.

Unfamiliar JOANN Charges and Scam Warnings

If you see an unfamiliar JOANN, Joann.com, gift card, fabric, sewing, yarn, liquidation, or store-closing charge on your statement, compare it with your old receipts, online order history, store visits, gift card purchases, and card activity. If the charge does not match your records, contact your bank or card issuer promptly.

Be cautious with websites that use JOANN-like names, fake clearance offers, fake coupons, gift card refund promises, or fake customer service numbers. You can use ChargeOnMyCard.com to research confusing charge names. For fake craft-store sites, phishing messages, gift card scams, refund scams, and fake support numbers, visit ThinkItsAScam.com.

Joann Reviews and Complaints

Current review themes on CorporateOfficeHeadquarters.com include sadness over losing JOANN stores, requests for stores to return, final-store customer service complaints, closing-sale pricing complaints, gift card and refund frustration, and shoppers trying to locate remaining fabric, frames, yarn, and craft inventory before closure.

Some reviewers describe JOANN as a long-time sewing, quilting, crafting, and fabric destination that they will miss. Others describe disappointing final visits, pricing confusion, employee frustration during the shutdown, or trouble getting help as stores closed. These reviews are individual experiences and may not represent every former store, employee, manager, liquidation sale, or customer interaction.

JoAnn Saying Good Bye So Sad

April 24, 2025

JoAnn, Saying Good Bye! I’m writing this review more as a cathartic measure. The closing of JoAnn in my mind is a sign of what is to come. Losing this icon of all things crafting is saddening, and makes me wonder what other stores will follow suit. We have become so immersed in our ability to shop online, that We are losing the ability to shop in person. Call me crazy, but the thought of not being able to touch an item, try something on or out, and just have a visual of the actual item before I shell out money for it, is just scary. I feel awful that we are losing JoAnn’s. Like so many others this was the place I went to for fabrics, notions, seasonal items, and sometimes just to wind down. It was my happy place – and I will miss it’s presence in my life tremendously. Thank you JoAnn for your part in my ability to make some wonderful heirloom items.

JoAnn Disappointing Experience

April 22, 2025

JoAnn, Was sworn at by young man at cutting counter 3 plus times, because he said he is upset he is losing his job. My family and I have been faithful to JoAnns for over 3 decades. By hell or high water we will travel to get to a store. I always thought of it as the best and am devastated it is closing. I came again today, 5th time in 1 month to patronize and get some batting for my sister’s quilts. I needed to get 14 yards. The guy at the counter sighed and said: you sure you don’t want to buy all 20 yards? I told him that no, I cannot get a hold of her and that I think I’m buying too much as it is. So 14 please. He looked irritated even though I helped him unroll. I helped count. We were only at 11 yards and I said nicely- would you mind re counting? I think we are at 11. He burst into anger and said- you are **** frustrating. All of you are **** frustrating blaming me for doing stuff wrong!!!! I have no idea what he was talking about but I did not appreciate it. I became really upset and started crying. It’s my birthday. He told me:“you can buy this not this. I do not *** care.” So I left and went to the check out counter but the lady there took his side. Many of us have lost jobs. But we don’t take it out on customers like this. I loved this store but I will never ever go back or think fondly of it ever again.

JoAnn, I was there in Dayton Ohio where this location was closing on Salem Ave. I pick up a ivory wreath which was posted at $5.99. I took two to the register and the lady rung up at $9.99 with 40 % off. I told her it was posted at $5.99 she would not change the price to the posted price. can not believe this store do not accept price that it was posted at. Watch the price people.
