Infiniti, On Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 7:15 am, I took my vehicle in for service at Zeigler Infiniti of Orland Park for an oil change and to address some rattling noise on the driver’s side in the rear. At approximately 9:25 am, Robert Garcia, Lead Shop Foreman, approached me and said, “I have some bad news. The noise that you are hearing is coming from your undercarriage, which is completely rusted out in the rear and in some areas in the front. To repair your vehicle would start at $3,000 and could go up to $7,000 depending on what was found during dissembling. Since your car is a 2011 with 210,000 miles on it, it would not be worth the repair. I can’t even weld anything together due to the severeness of the rust and it’s just a matter of time before things start falling off of the vehicle.” He then sent pictures and a video to my email that I have included. I began servicing my vehicle with Zeigler Infiniti of Orland Park on February 24, 2017. My last service date was on December 10, 2025. During this time frame, my vehicle has been serviced numerous times, and it has never been brought to my attention regarding the rusting away of my undercarriage. Isn’t that the purpose of regular maintenance? The rust did not appear overnight; it has been a gradual process that should have been noticed by the technicians to avoid the situation that I now face.

Infiniti, Customer service. There was none!!!!!

Infinity Certified Vehicle Purchase not so certified! I am going to submit a formal complaint regarding the Ramsey, NJ Infinity dealer. We purchased a ‘certified vehicle’ with approximately. 14,000 miles and 4 months later the vehicle needed brakes, windshield wipers and the axel greased. We brought the vehicle to another Infinity dealership and they said the vehicle should not have been sold this way.

There have been numerous reports of engine failure due to problems in the manufacture. There does not appear to be any consideration for this, and with only 64,400 miles on my 2017 I am greatly disappointed.

The financial impact is serious

.I am reaching out to ask for some help from the manufacturer for this $16,000 repair.

I purchased this auto based on their reputation and supposed quality.

Is there any possible way to get an extended warranty other than a local dealership? No one is returning my calls from Lafayette Infinity. My current warranty is expiring soon. Your website suggesting and giving very good reason to do so, at a local dealer, does not reflect so. At this point I am considering another warranty company, perhaps this may be what your local dealership would prefer. Please reply. Thanks
