  1. Good evening, I hope this urgent matter is handled as soon as possible and not ignored like Johnson Lexus of Durham branch. My name is L Kornegay and my wife and I purchased a 2022 Mustang GT from Johnson Lexus of Durham back in Jan. 2023, from Carlos Marillo and the Financial and Insurance Representative Darius Mingo finished the deal. We decided after a week that we did not want to keep the vehicle, so we returned it. Upon returning it, we had to pay $3664.50 to get out of the contract and get our 2019 Ford Mustang EcoBoost back and we couldn't understand why we had to pay to get out of a car that we didn't have for a week. We asked Carlos to ask Mustafah, who is the Manager to just reverse the paperwork and the response was no. With that, they said that we would be receiving the $1053.00 back in the form of a check for the GAP insurance that was never used. We have been calling and sending emails to Darius Mingo on the matter of the GAP Insurance check for over 3 months not to no resolve. To makes matter worse we have received two notices in the mail from Bank of America stating that we owe them money for a car that we no longer possess. So now we are trying to get the truth of why this account is still open under our name and why we haven't received the GAP check back. Darius's words to us was, "We would have to contact the Bank to let them know that the account has been paid in full, but when I contacted the bank all I got was that the account was still open and that Johnson Lexus still the Lein in possession. We then called Darius back and confronted him on this matter again and he sent us a photo showing a check stub, showing $22,746.00, Dated 06FEB23. So, I called the Bank of America back the next day and they said that it is not in their system as paid and that they do not understand why Darius would tell us that it was our responsibility to call them, when it is actually the dealers responsibility to call and clarify the matter. So, I have reached out and called Darius Mingo back via email and phone and have gotten no response. I have asked him to handle this problem quickly, because now it is affecting my credit and we need our money. This has been very aggravating and upsetting because you wouldn't think you would have to deal with such issue from reputable car dealership with supposed to be professional people.

     
  2. I'm still waiting for the release date for the 2023 Lexus 450 plus. I'm they don't come soon I might consider the Volvo hybrid plug in.

     
  3. I have a 2013 RX450H I bought new from dealership JM Lexus, went it to start vehicle the other day realize vehicle is always garaged. The dash lights up says hybrid took to dealership and they state the battery pack needs to be replaced at a cost of $5700, this vehicle only has 70000 miles. I called someone else on the price and they quote $3790, is there any warranty on this battery?

I purchased an NX350H in November 2022, Vin XXXXXXX and have not received the additional key promised by the Sales Representative, Derrick Hancock, Westport, C, who initially said I would receive it via mail from Canada. I have left a number of messages with no response. Extremely disappointing

    Second issue: I ordered the roof rack from Kevin Leon, Business Manager, Westport, CT when I purchase the vehicle and was told it was back-ordered. After a number of calls to get an outdated with no responses, I'm reaching out here, My next step is to locate someone in Canada an Executive Manager and send a letter. This is just poor customer service quality.

    This past week, the key was lost in 3 feet of snow and I had no way to get the car started. I need that second key and the status of the roof rack as I can't keep putting ski equipment in the car along with people.

  5. I'm not getting a response from anyone at Shottenkirk Desert Lexus in Cathedral City California. I purchased a UX200 approx 35 days ago and noticed that the tire is worn and chuncking. Im unable to replace the tire because the tire key lock is missing. Diego the salesperson is not responding to my calls or emails. The sales manager Kyle was of no help.
