    To whom it may concern,
    I am writing you today because I am truly disappointed in your brand and service. Over the past couple of years, I have spent an enormous amount of money attempting to keep my Audi on the road. Besides the obvious, why is that so disappointing you ask? Because I love the look, the feel, the ride, and even the performance (when the car is functioning correctly).
    I purchased the car with a clean bill of health and a good service history. I paid for your preventative maintenance. What did I get in return? An estimate for over $11k in part in labor.
    Things like:
    1. Engine Mount(s)
    2. New Pulley(s) and serpentine belt
    3. Control arms & Bushings
    4. Valve cover gasket (wow German manufactures really can’t figure this one out)
    5. Front Coolant Crossover Tube
    6. Thermostat
    7. Engine Faults (this one is my personal favorite. You are going to charge me over $80.00 to clear a code that you are working on?)
    8. Re-secure the seatback trim (I pay to have a manufactures defect repaired; makes total sense)
    Oh, don’t forget you added in mounting and balancing my tires. Thanks, my tires are brand new. I appreciate the diligence?
    I would like to add, once I got my vehicle back from the limited repairs that were conducted, it was returned back to the service department immediately with more issues.
    Unresolved Issues:
    1. Belt Noise
    a. Advisor states that the technician cannot reproduce the sound
    b. I walk out with my phone the next morning and record it. The sound is actually worse than before.

    i. My question:
    How can you not reproduce such a glaring issue? You had my car for almost three weeks. It took me three minutes.
    2. Keyless Entry
    a. Worked when I dropped it off
    b. Doesn’t work now.
    3. Windshield wipers and Sprayers
    a. Multipoint inspection?
    i. My Wipers and sprayers haven’t worked correctly the last three times my car has come into the shop. Because it’s not a priority, I always use this as my litmus test as to how thorough the inspection really is. My wipers aren’t even seated correctly. Yet, the technician has overlooked that point at each visit.
    4. Engine Light
    a. Consistent un-diagnosable engine light issue.
    i. Multiple times has this vehicle been put into the shop for an un-diagnosable engine light issue. At last report: “It’s a loose wire?”

    The list goes on and on…When is enough, enough? After having my vehicle for weeks, I’m not sure if I got it back in better or worse shape. This vehicle is falling apart. I have owned a variety of luxury cars over the years. I can tell you this beyond a shadow of a doubt. This experience has left more than a bad taste in my mouth. If I had taken the problem to Lexus? Well, after four Lexus’s I can tell you that I have never had one of these problems. All of those vehicles combined didn’t have the problems that this Audi has. That says it all…..
