La Quinta Receipts - Why Can't Hotel's Email Them To Me?

I need receipts for my stays on the dates below. This is very important to me because I’m not able to complete my smart voucher in the defense travel system until I have these receipts. I’m moving to LA and the Army adjusted my housing allowance as part of this process. This is going to cost me nearly 2,500 this month. I will get it back eventually but, it has been a month and all three of the hotels I stayed at had problems sending me electronic copies of my receipt. This is making me look foolish. I’m a leader in my organization and right now I can’t explain why I’m not able to provide basic travel documentation. My explanation from all 3 hotels after nearly a month of working on this is “I don’t know why?”. Deming and Collinsville have found a workaround to send me receipts. Deming went above and beyond on this with the reception person printing the receipt out and taking a picture, sending it to her email, and then sending it to me. The Colony has tried 3 different emails including their front desk with no luck. I really cannot recommend La Quinta for official travel and will not be using Wyndham properties again for my work travel. I have reached out to customer service and was told that only the hotels can send me receipts. I can see my activity on the website. I received confirmation emails for all my stays. I’m not able to drive/fly back to the DFW area to pick this up from the hotel which was something that I was told I should do. Please help me get my last receipt so I can be reimbursed for my travel.

La Quinta Corp. - Desk clerk refused to allow me into my room

I walked out to get coffee about 3:30 am, November 17. The desk clerk was on the phone, I mentions needing my key after I got my coffee. She refused to look up my record, refused to look at a copy of my confirmation from my phone and ignored my request for a manager. And stated I would not be allowed in my room. I had to call the police to get my room key. I am and actor and travel to shoots all over Florida. I prefer LaQuinta Inns and had stayed in another one in Clearwater Florida on November 14 before driving to this location. I know you guys have procedures for guest forgetting their keys. I gave her my name and room key, offered to show her my confirmation (I think she even had my credit card on hold.) She seem to be in a bad mood! I know this is not normal behavior of your staff, but I wanted you to be aware of it. PS: I did make several call to your corporate offices that evening, hoping to connect with a call center or someone. She refused to get me her supervisor or to give me her name.

My stay 8/5-8/6/2023 at La Quinta booked through Booking.com

I booked this room on Booking.com. The site showed a beautiful room with all the information regarding the amenities. Once I arrived I was told that the hotel was under renovations which was not revealed to me when I decided to secure this reservation. I was in town for a funeral. I feel this is a very deceptive practice. The customer should always be given a choice. False advertisement on a legitimate site is not good for anyone. Dirty carpet, one large dead roach on the bathroom floor, one small live roach under the top mattress other small bugs dead. The lamp was broken I almost fell through the chair the seat was broken. You should never rent rooms without informing the customer that your facility is under renovation., allow me to decide if I want to stay. The best part of my visit was Liza so professional and caring, she went above and beyond the call of duty to make us comfortable. I informed her that this was a management issue, Yes management you dropped the ball! I will never recommend this Laquinta while under construction to anyone and it should be taken off all websites until completed. The pool was also a disaster. One more thing expired milk on the breakfast bar and did not have a replacement, but was told by the morning clerk.”It expires today so I’ll leave it out there besides we don’t have any more to replace it with.” So sad I wish I could get a refund or a complimentary stay once renovations are completed. I have stayed in a lot of La Quinta Inns throughout the USA and never had an experience like this.

La Quinta Horrible Customer Service

Horrible customer service I have been trying to get reimbursed since Sept 28th and going around in circles with different phone numbers and reference numbers provided and emails going nowhere. Just received an email from 4037frontdesk@gmail.com telling me I am not eligible for my refund. When I spoke with Ms. May on the 28th she communicated with her manager and agreed to refund due to Hurricane and flooding. I stay at La Quinta every year and will not recommend to anyone if this is what we have to go through for the $124.45 credit. Cancellation Number: When you look for the corporate phone number it provides you with 1-214-492-6600 that goes fast busy that too isn’t working… I don’t want another reference number provided I want the credit due to me.

La Quinta Horrible Experience

Hello, I am writing because of the horrible experience I had at the La Quita by Wyndham Hotel in Clearwater, FL. This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life. I saw the bad reviews but decided to give it a chance anyway because of the distance from my job to the room. I had to switch rooms 3 times in 2 days because of the lack of upkeep in the rooms and lack of hotel organization. The first room I stayed in was decent but had a horrible smell of mold or mildew, the second room had a hole in the wall and it also smelled like smoke and mold had an old smell to it that wouldn’t come out no matter how much I lit incense or candles or room spray and perfume the smell just didn’t go away. I was afraid something was going to come crawling out of that hole in the wall in the bath room 138 so I asked to change my room. As soon as I got comfortable in the new room I went to wash my hands and the water fell directly from the sink onto the floor. 110 !!! Because of all of those things the rooms have tubs that are peeling and toilets that are so oil it look stained and dirty, I was put in a pet room because I had my emotional support animal with me and you can tell they just don’t update those rooms and the old odor from previous pet smells just will not come out of the old carpet and tiles in those rooms. With all of this being said I also had a rude property front desk employee who was upset because she was working in that dump you can tell, and being frustrated at guests because the AC didn’t work in the hotel’s main lobby and areas. All around that hotel needs to be closed and renovated and the workers need to be a little more polite to guests because you never know what someone is dealing with so be polite because you in the hospitality industry. I left today because I couldn’t deal with both the rooms being old and unlivable and the employee Mili who needs to be let go. With that being sad if you look at the reviews from booking.com or other sites because I’m sure I’m not the first to complain you will see my issues being backed by others who have experienced the same thing, a refund would be gladly appreciated for the horrible experience I’ve had.
