Longhorn Steakhouse Northglenn CO Disappointing

March 15, 2025

Longhorn, 2 Very Poor Experiences. Dear Customer Service, a few years ago I went with a friend to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Northglenn, CO. At that time both my friend and I were disappointed because it was during the time that they began to butterfly their Filets. We did not go back, Today I went with a group of about 8 people. I’m sure it was of no fault of the waitress, but I asked if there was a way to get a salmon with my filet, steamed asparagus, sweet potato with nothing on it. I relayed that it was important that there be no salt or butter and no char on the steak. What I received was a full salmon meal with rice (did not eat), a baked potato rather than sweet potato, asparagus and eventually a filet. First, I was not told that I would be charged for 2 separate meals. Asked for no salt/seasoning, no butter, no char on the salmon/filet, or on the sweet potato, asparagus. I mentioned kindly about this to the waitress, and she relayed that she would bring me the sweet potato (plain), and a new asparagus with no butter/salt. It never came. At that time, I was not aware that the salmon/filet were seasoned and salted. My filet was so hard and I have never had a filet that was hard and chewy. I question if it was even a filet, because it did not taste like it either. I did not eat it and since the waitress never brought the replacement asparagus, gave what was given to me, along with the potato, rice (which I did not know was in my order), to one of the other people at the table. Also, as we were visiting, one of the women said that the last time she was at Longhorn she choked and couldn’t breathe because the filet was so hard. She said she was really scared and thought that was the end for her. A couple of the people concurred. I did take a couple of small bites of my filet but could barely cut it and your knives are great knives. Anyway, along with the tip, my bill was over $62.00 for lunch. I was told that just a salmon could be added to my filet. I specifically ordered the items without butter, salt, seasoning, or char due to health concerns. Please know that it was very important that my order be specific because it could be detrimental. While it was just a poor experience (2), I just wanted to relay the importance of an accurate order. On my way home I purchased a blood pressure machine. I think our group should move on to another steakhouse from now on. I do wish to thank you for the kindness of your staff though.

Longhorn Tupelo MS Disappointing

March 3, 2025

Longhorn, Complete disarray. 03/02/2025 Longhorn Tupelo, MS 6pm. While travelling we visited the Longhorn in Tupelo. We are big fans of Longhorn and have many wonderful meals with various locations throughout our travels. Never a bad experience until last evening. We waited at the hostess stand for quite awhile. So much so that every group ahead of us left. I finally caught the attention of a bus boy and asked where the hostess was. He said he didn’t know but that most of the staff hadn’t come in that night. A young woman was summoned and she apologized for not noticing us. I was told three other groups ahead of us left beside theyveete tired of waiting. She told us our best bet was to sit at the bar snd order. Well that was a mess. Empty dirty dishes strewn the bar, the man behind the bar was trying to solve a customer complaint, etc. Finally a young woman named Dulce came and took our drink order and eventually our meal order. She was phenomenal! Running from the bar to tables and take out. The phone was ringing off the hook and there were people coming in and leaving. It was a mess. We finally got our meal. It was not good. Salad was warm with really old wilted lettuce. I left it. The steak was like warm and stringy. The steamed broccoli was cold. The mac and cheese was hot and delish. The butter didn’t even melt on my husbands sweet potato!!

I asked who the manager was and apparently it’s a gal named Hillary who was not there. I would highly recommend corporate send in staff to check this out. The only person who seemed to have it together and running the whole show was the bartender Dulce! If I were her I would look for another job! At any rate every other Longhorn we have been at from Green Bay, WI to Foley, AL has been impressive.

Longhorn Raynham MA Disappointing Experience

December 14, 2024

Longhorn, My husband and I have just come from the Longhorn restaurant in Raynham MA. Not a good experience all around. First, we are greeted by mr fruitfly, quite annoying to have it buzzing around. My husband dropped his napkin on the floor. We asked the waitress for a new napkin.. 10 min later she brought one. Next, the substandard food. I got a Flos Filet with a loaded baked potato and asparagus. The steak was flatter than a pancake and fell apart once in my mouth. I do not believe I was served a real piece of filet steak. I was told that it was a filet Mignon the manager never even bothered to come to the table, although, was asked to. Never ever have a seen a high end piece of steak flat and falling apart in my mouth with barely a chew. The baked potato was very dry and hard to swallow. The asparagus undercooked and woody. My husbands sweet potato was huge and the cinnamon sugar heaped in a pile in the center. His steak tips overcooked and very salty. This meal was expensive as well. I know I will not be going back.

Longhorn Deltona FL Disappointing

November 11, 2024

Longhorn, This is the 2nd time my wife and I have been to Longhorns and the last time the Owtlaw Ribeye was raw. We ordered this to go.We spoke to the manager and we did get a coupon to cover the cost of the steak. We went tonight and got another order to go which I ordered the porterhouse steak and my wife ordered a cheeseburger and added extra bacon at an additional cost. I am sending a picture of this porterhouse that was $36 dollars and my wife’s cheeseburger with no bacon said not to worry about it. We want Nothing Free!!! Just wanted to let you know… We will start going back to Texas Roadhouse where they make ever steak the way I ordered it. This is the Longhorns on Saxon Blvd in Deltona Fl. Our server was Sandra which she was very nice! I don’t know who the cook was. Out check # is 41562 LH#5356 I’d #5776 76219 4630. I’m only providing this so you may know who the cook was. I’m providing a picture so you can see what was given to me. Not to appealing to me.

Longhorn Gluten Free Options

August 31, 2024

Longhorn ingredients. It is imperative kitchen staff are honest with questions brought to them by wait staff. I have Celiac Disease meaning No Gluten which is found in wheat, rye, barley. It can be trying to find items I can eat so I made it a point to ask our waitress “I have Celiac Disease, I can not consume gluten, is the *loaded potato soup thickened with flour?”. She was uncertain so went to ask kitchen staff/cook and she returned with “no, there is no flour in our potato soup.”. By the time we were exiting after family ate full meals, my stomach hurt, I was severely bloated and growing worse on the way home. I asked on-line “does longhorn steakhouse use flour in their loaded potato soup?. As I expected, reply came back “Yes, flour is used in the soup as a thickener, do you have more questions?”. Celiac is considered not just an immune disease but an Allergen, those with celiac who consume gluten end up with their immune system attacking their digestive tract and attacks lead to damage to the GI tract. While my family as a whole loved the food and yes the soup was delicious, it also contained for me an Allergen, imagine had that been a nut or shellfish and well you get it. Kitchen staff must be forthcoming with waitstaff asking about ingredients, it could spell life or death.
