  • I just watched a video of one your managers Assault a citizen on the public sidewalk in Calif. She had the chance to make it right by apologizing but she refused. If this the kind of staff you employ then I would rather stay some where else.

     
  • I really hope someone of importance sees this message! My two daughters came to visit us in Vanuatu. Their return trip had a 30 hr. layover in LA, so the travel agent booked a one night stay at the LAX Renaissance Hotel. The travel agent messaged me and said that the room was paid for and ready to go. When our daughters got there after a 10 1/2 hr. flight over the Pacific Ocean they told them they couldn't check them in because the room wasn't paid for. One of my daughters called me with that info. I talked to the Room Operations Manager he assured me that he checked and double checked and the room was not paid. So I had to send him, via email, MY credit card number, which I was very uncomfortable doing, so my daughters could get there room. My agent assured me that her card was charged at the time of reserving the room. That was 3 weeks ago. As of this time my card has not been reimbursed. After many exchanges over email they still will not admit fault. I believe my agent that her card was charged. That means two charges were made for the same room on the same night. I fault the Hotel for their accounting practices. My card was charged immediately but has taken 3+ weeks to get it reimbursed!! In reading other comments the Renaissance Hotel is more concerned about MONEY than the customer! That's NOT how to run a business! Rest assured I will not be staying at any Renaissance Hotel!!!

     
  • I have repeatedly attempted to obtain a hotel room at the Renaissance motel in Washington DC and have been asked to leave the building by non employed Renaissance employees several times

     
  • We stayed at the Renaissance Inn in South Park Charlotte North Carolina this last week. The "fitness center" was a room about 15'x15' and smelled like cat urine. It smelled so bad that even propping the door open wouldn't help. And they put us in a room with an ice machine right against our wall that made so much noise it rumbled our wall. We asked at the front desk to cancel our stay but they wouldn't because the manager wasn't "available." The desk clerk did admit to knowing about the smell in the gym because she said they asked maintenance to spray (spraying isn't going to help that smell-it was awful). The manager the next day agreed to allow us to cancel our next two nights but made no apology for the conditions or our dissatisfaction. So disappointing and gross.

     
  • Hello I had a one night reservation for Oct 4, 2017 at the RENAISSANCE HTLS & RESRTS 9620 AIRPORT BLVD LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA and I cancelled on line and received a cancellation confirmation and I also called the hotel. My credit Card was charged so I called the hotel on Oct 6th and I was told that the charge would be reversed. After a few weeks I called again on Oct 25th and I was transferred to the accounting department. No one answered so I left a message with all the information requested by the voice message I received.   • We (all three) checked in to The Renaissance Capital Beijing 2/26/15 for a 3 NT stay and were given a room that definately did not have room for a rollaway whereas last year when we booked we had connecting rooms which was perfect for 3 people. The heat in the room was excessive and the person who came to try to get the thermostat to work could not at all evidently it was broken. We went to the front desk and after some explaining the nice young lady had the Manager David Silveira take care of us. After we had explained our problem he told us he would see what he could do about changing our room and since it was the dinner hour to go ahead to dinner and check back with him. This we did and and he told us that he had two rooms for us (across the hall from each other)on a different floor costing us a slighly different cost which was fine with us and he would send someone up to move our bags. We were surprised when not only did the Staff person come to move us but also Mr Silviera himself and after doing so advised us we could have access to the CLub Level Room and their amenities.
    I worked in Custom Service myself for 38 years and as far as all three of us are concerned Mr David Silveira is a big asset to your Company as he made a bad situation a "Win-Win" situation. That is what happens when employees are Empowered. Please thank David for us.

  • I have to say I have never seen such a level of poor customer service. I have been trying to be very patient with this hotel regarding a ongoing issue that I am having I have been tossed around hung up on and lied to. The Atlanta Airport location and there manager Charles Johnson has provided nothing but poor service. He has lied to me continuously and still hasn't bothered to resolve my issue. I am very unhappy and will never ever stay at this hotel again!!!

     
  • We stayed as a family from 21 to 28 Dec 2015 at the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Hotel, South Cinai, Egypt. The staff was extremely friendly. Both Mr. Sameh Tolba (director of rooms operations and Mr. Hamed Mohsen were fabulous as they made our stay very easy and comfort. They made us feel special. I would stay at Renaissance whenever I visit Sharm El Sheikh and I highly recommend staying there.
