Jeep Dealership Complaint- Friendship CJDR of Forest City, NC. Just wanted Corp to view the email that I just sent to Friendship CJDR of Forest City, NC. I was sent an email asking why I haven’t brought my Jeep back in for service. Below is my response. The service level that I experienced was totally unacceptable. Thank you. Email sent today August 25, 2025. Dear, Cydney Frank, While in your care, the vehicle was scratched, the repaint had visible dirt embedded in the finish, and the power side step was broken. It originally went in because the dashboard went completely blank. When you replaced the odometer, it came back with thousands of additional miles, significantly lowering the vehicle’s value. You acknowledged the mistake and promised to correct it, but never followed through. For over three months, I was forced to drive without a working speedometer. I had no way of knowing if I was speeding or not, and had to constantly drive below the flow of traffic just to stay safe. Despite the obvious safety issue, no loaner vehicle was offered. I’ve been a loyal Jeep owner—this was my second Jeep. My son, my wife, and my son-in-law all drive Jeeps. But this experience made me lose trust in your dealership completely. After months of frustration and calling every week without resolution, I decided to purchase an upgraded Gladiator—but I went to Gastonia Jeep, because I no longer felt I could rely on your team.This was, without a doubt, the worst vehicle service experience I’ve ever had. I still love Jeep as a brand, but I firmly believe your dealership should not be servicing Jeep vehicles.

Jeep – $50K Wrangler, 1 Week of Driving, and Zero Warranty Support. My 2022 Jeep Wrangler has been sitting in the shop since February 4, 2025—and it’s now been nearly 4 months. The first repair attempt on the transmission took over 2.5 months, and when I finally got the Jeep back, the exact same issue returned after just one week of driving. That was over three weeks ago, and still nothing has been done. The problem isn’t with my dealer—they’re doing what they can. The problem is that Jeep’s warranty division won’t approve the repairs, and it seems like someone in an office is just dragging their feet. Meanwhile, I’ve been making payments on a $50,000 vehicle that I’ve only driven for one week since February. Jeep clearly has a known issue with this transmission, and instead of standing behind their product, I’m stuck waiting indefinitely. This level of customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

Jeep, 2nd safety recall on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with no resolution date! What is going on? I have 2nd recall on my jeep & latest recall is Brakes Issue! Resolution date… sometime 3rd Quarter!!! This was brought to my attention approximately Octotober 2024 with No Fix Date! Hello Jeep……are you trying to sell more Jeeps to fix your Problems???????

Jeep, 2012 Jeep JK P0172 and P0175 code. I have Jeep in at Dealership I explained I have a check engine light on and 2 codes P0172 and P0175. Dealership has my vehicle 3 days and mentioned that they need to do a smoke test and would like to remove my header/catalytic converters to see if I have a rich code. They wanted a $1000.00 on top of diagnostic fee of $265.00. My question to them is if I have a catalytic converter error it would have given me a code? They are not there to help solve the issue but to enrich themselves at my expense. They pretty much did a visual and kept my vehicle for 3 days. This is crazy nonsense. I would like a refund since I already explained to them the code I had received which appeared on instrument panel of vehicle. It used to be you brought your vehicle yo the dealership cause they were the best of best and better equipped than most. Now then are no better than taking your vehicle to PepBoys .
