McAlister's Montgomery IL Disappointing Issue

McAlister’s, Fraudulent use of my credit card. Per the title of this review, it’s not something that can be taken lightly. I recently used my Comenity Visa Card on 2/10/25 at your location in Montgomery Il. Store number 101113. I purchased items that came to a total of $51.44. Two days later my card was frauduently used at Camelback Ranch, AZ to a tune of $3415. Now you may say there is no proof that it was your store however, it is really suspicious that two days after use, the charges are accrued. The credit card company is working on this situation but it is rather disheartening and cause for not going back.

McAllister’s, General Manager unprofessional. You have a store in Owosso, MI, where the management is completely unprofessional and abhorrent. I have a lot of instances where this has happened and will be talking to a lawyer next week about this.

McAlister's Unprofessional Staff Issues

McAlister’s, My husband and I had a very disappointing experience at McAlister’s due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff and manager. The manager, who we believe is named Alexis or Lexie, was behaving inappropriately in front of customers and seemed to find it amusing. The employees were loud, using vulgar language, and openly discussing inappropriate topics, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. When we tried to subtly address the situation with a glance, the manager dismissively said to another employee that she didn’t care if customers could hear and used offensive language. She even joked about not washing her hands, which was especially concerning since she handled food we were eating. The store smelled strongly of something unpleasant, and the manager appeared uninterested in her responsibilities. Instead, she spent time complaining about her boss and bragging about taking food. This behavior completely ruined our experience, and I hope McAlister’s addresses this unprofessionalism to ensure a better environment for customers.

McAllister's Disappointing Ordering Issue

McAllister’s, Ordering a water. I think it is utterly ignorant that you can only get a small cup for water. Some people like me do not drink sodas or caffeine. And I do not want to return multiple times to get a refill of water. The person at the counter explained to me water only came in a small cup and had to do something with inventory. I do not have an issue at any other restaurant getting a large water.

McAlister's Baked Potato Issue

McAlister’s, Dry over cooked baked spud. I ordered Spud Ole’ on 9/16/24. The skin was blackened but I hoped that the inside would be soft and edible with butter, sour cream, chili, and cheese. It was not!!! I brought it home hoping to salvage a $10 potato by steaming it but alas, not successful!!! The time of my purchase was early evening so maybe it was the day’s left overs that they were trying to get rid of. Very disappointed!!!
