I have been a customer of Catherine’s since Catherine’s Stout Shop, 40+ years ago. I love Catherine’s, but have feedback, something that would set you apart from the rest. First, I want to tell you a few things about myself. I worked 45 years in nursing/medical, saving for the future, and doing everything we do to protect our future. Then I got sick, spending over $30,000.00 on medical bills. The illness began 13 years ago, because of my pastor of 32 years (who was the landlord when caring for his in-laws, living in a mother in law apartment) neglected to fix a problem that caused asthma, other lung issues, several surgeries, and other problems. It has been a long, painful process, but I am now getting better. I have always been responsible in paying my bills, and meeting obligations, but as my pastor chose not to be responsible for his part of the problem, I have lost almost everything I have, now in an Assisted Living Facility with no car. I have many obligations, but am praying for the restoration of physical health, financial stability, and spiritual well-being. I understand what I am suggesting could put you in a difficult position, but think of the importance it could make in your customers’ lives. I know my credit score is low, and I am working to get it back up. Because my finances are low, I applied to hopefully get the $25.00 off the first purchase using the card. My suggestion is that those with low credit scores (not everyone is trying to take advantage of others) would be able to get one with at first a limited amount that you decide. I know this isn’t the norm, but it would help your customers see that you care for them and their needs. Thank you.
