DDs DIscount, Customers Privacy. Violate customers privacy after they purchased items by looking inside their bags and checking their receipt after leaving the register is a bit obsessive and it illegal to assume consumers are stealing the reason I was given was this was a new policy, and they do it at Walmart If your comparing yourself to Walmart they don’t look inside customers bags they only check for items out of the bag I will be looking into taking legal action because this is ridiculous.

DDs Discount, The door checker was very rude to a customer that walked in drinking water. She was very unprofessional. If she had acted that way with me, I would have walked out and never returned. She then stood there glaring at myself and my husband as we were being checked out a couple feet away from her. She saw everything get scanned. I was told by the cashier to show her my receipt. She insisted that I place my 8 bags in front of her so she could look through them. I refused and had her look at them next to the cashier. I told her that it did not make sense since she just watched whoever them placed in the bag. She just said it was her job. I really did not appreciate the rude and asinine treatment and behavior. Your employees ( this one) need to learn customer service. I like your stores but if I run into this rudeness again I will not be shopping in DDs Discount.

DD’s Discount, Unprofessional Management. My First Experience at DD’s Discount was not a pleasurable experience. Management Mariam and Karen at your store located in Carrollton Texas Store # 5489 Reg 2 Tran 7184 Phone 214-390-8476. I attempted to purchase 5 boxes of large gold Christmas balls at $2.99 set of 2. There was a total of 6 boxes in the store. Two of the boxes had one damaged ball in each. I approached the cashier with 6 boxes, one box which was open, asked if the damage balls could be removed and combine to make a complete set. Cashier called Karen who called management who stated boxes cannot be opened. I explained, the box is already open, and I would like to pay regular price for a complete set. I was again told, no. I was offered a 10% discount on both boxes. I completely understand the stages of markdowns as my parents own a boutique in Hollywood. I attempted to explain to the Karen I am trying to do things the right way and not (hiding and switching the items myself). Offering me 10% off of $2.99 of 2 boxes that has a one damage item in each is like asking me to give her money without given me anything in return. I asked Karen to please allow me to speak to the manager. Karen used her walkie talkie and responded back to me management “said I am not available I am going to lunch”. I smiled and stated, “management said”. Now, I am not sure where the intelligence lies, but if you are speaking to management on the walkie talkie and not 2 minutes ago management was available how is it she’s “gone to lunch”. If she was at lunch, then shame on her with one cashier checking and 12 people in line waiting at least 15-20 minutes to check out. My mother purchased her items. I purchased mine. We both left in awe.

The management at their Sacramento, Ca store hired me for Retail Sales, but continually forces me to work other positions, and only hires women to work the register, and they fluff off my questions, comments, or concerns. Stay far and away from this location, unless you want to be treated like cattle. I imagine its worse as a customer, as the employees there seem to have zero customer service skills
