Discover closed our dispute case without resolution or proper communication, leaving us frustrated and in collections. Despite initial credits for disputed charges, the case was abruptly closed, and conflicting statements from representatives only added confusion. We were advised to submit notarized transcripts of our conversations to appeal, a burdensome and unreasonable request. A team agent admitted to minimal follow-up with involved parties and relied on hearsay for her decision. Discover refused to provide critical information without a subpoena, which isn’t feasible without litigation. Their handling of this case contradicts their advertised customer protection policies and has caused significant stress.

Discover, Stolen cards. My cards were stolen over 2 years ago, I called to make a dispute but I was told by your customer service department that I was a liar and that there was nothing they could do, since this has happened I have been put into a financial hardship, the total that was take was around $22,000.00 if you took the time and looked at spending history you could clearly see where this started. Please handle this problem, I have 1 account with a debit consolidation company and the other I Was paying on until you took the paperless payment from me.

I was looking for a contact form or email address for Discover Card’s corporate headquarters. Instead, I see this

“Chat with an expert feature” that seems to be a robot because it didn’t answer if this was a Discover Card. It even had a person’s face connected to it! Also, it was hard to write to the end of this box because a little, annoying video kept popping up!

Discover Card's treatment of son who is trying to establish credit

I am extremely upset and disappointed with how you guys are treating my son who is trying to establish credit. He turned 18 in October and was so excited about getting your card that he has been paying it off and on time. Then y’all froze his account and wanted him to verify he is who he says he is. He jumped through all your hoops. He turned in all the documents and yet you guys still are not satisfied and are threatening to close his account which will destroy his newfound credit. Shame on you!! So disappointed!

Discover Card Terrible customer service!

I was lied to by representatives and a supervisor. After calling Discover to change the bank account that my payment is taken from I was told by Nichelle that the payment for the current month would be taken from the old account. She asked me to transfer the money to the old account which I did. Discover then attempted to take the money from the new account causing an NSF fee from my bank. Discover also charged my account $30.00. When I called customer service to ask why they tried to take the money from an account that they told me they would not use until the following month and why I should pay for their mistake I was told by Barbara that it was my fault and they would not reverse the charge she then hung up on me. I called back and was told by Mug, a supervisor, the same thing. Awful service!!
