Discover Card Headquarters Address in Riverwoods

Discover Card headquarters and Discover corporate office searches commonly point to 2500 Lake Cook Road, Riverwoods, Illinois 60015. This is the address many readers look for when searching for Discover card headquarters, Discover corporate office, Discover corporate address, Discover Card corporate office, Discover Bank headquarters, Discover Bank HQ, or the Discover Card corporate office phone number.

Discover is now part of Capital One. Capital One has stated that Discover customers should continue to use Discover tools and channels until notified about any account changes. Discover also says credit card accounts will move to Capital One throughout 2026 and early 2027, but customers should wait for direct instructions before changing how they manage their accounts.

Discover Card Corporate Office vs. Discover Customer Service

The Discover Card corporate office is generally used for headquarters matters, corporate correspondence, executive-level concerns, legal correspondence, investor or historical company questions, and high-level unresolved complaints. Most credit card, bank account, payment, loan, rewards, dispute, fraud, statement, billing, or login issues should begin with Discover customer service or the secure account tools at Discover.com.

Discover customer service may need to verify your identity before discussing account-specific information. For security reasons, do not send full account numbers, Social Security numbers, PINs, passwords, one-time passcodes, complete card numbers, tax forms, or identity documents through public comment forms or unofficial websites.

Discover Card Mailing Address and Billing Address Guidance

Many customers search for a Discover Card mailing address, Discover billing address, Discover card payment address, or mailing address for Discover Card. Discover says payment addresses are based on the customer’s current address, so cardmembers should check the payment address printed on their periodic statement before mailing a payment.

For general Discover Card customer-service correspondence, Discover’s contact information currently lists:

  • Customer Service – General Inquiries: Capital One, PO Box 71083, Charlotte, NC 28272-1083

For Discover online banking, the mailing address depends on the account type:

  • Checking and Savings Accounts General Correspondence: Discover, PO Box 30416, Salt Lake City, UT 84130
  • New Accounts and Deposits: Discover, PO Box 30417, Salt Lake City, UT 84130
  • Retirement Account Contributions and General Correspondence: Discover, PO Box 30418, Salt Lake City, UT 84130

Before mailing payments, forms, dispute documents, deposits, or account records, verify the current address on Discover.com, your statement, your account agreement, or the secure message center. Mailing an item to the wrong address can delay payment posting, account review, refund processing, or dispute handling.

  • Mailing address or billing address question: Check your periodic statement, account agreement, or secure account message center before mailing a payment or document.
  • Unresolved consumer-finance complaint: Contact Discover first, then consider official regulator complaint options if the issue remains unresolved.

  • The specific resolution you are requesting

Do not post private financial information in public reviews or comment sections. Avoid sharing account numbers, Social Security numbers, full card numbers, PINs, passwords, one-time passcodes, addresses, phone numbers, tax documents, identity documents, or private banking records.

How to Escalate a Discover Card Complaint

Start by contacting Discover through the official customer service page, secure account login, Discover app, phone support, or the department connected to your product. Ask for a case number, dispute number, complaint reference number, written confirmation, or escalation path if the first representative cannot resolve the issue.

If the issue remains unresolved, organize your complaint before contacting Discover corporate office or Capital One. Include what happened, when it happened, which Discover product was involved, which support routes you used, what Discover or Capital One already told you, and what resolution you are requesting. Keep the message factual and attach supporting documentation only through official secure channels.

For consumer-finance complaints that remain unresolved after contacting Discover, customers may also review official complaint options through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. These regulator complaint routes are separate from Discover and Capital One and should generally be used after you have attempted to resolve the matter directly with the company.

Discover Card Billing, Payment, and Mailing Address Complaints

Discover Card billing and payment complaints may involve late payment posting, returned payments, statement balances, interest charges, minimum payments, autopay errors, rewards credits, payment address confusion, or uncertainty over whether a payment should be mailed to Discover or Capital One. Before escalating, review your statement, payment confirmation, online account activity, and any direct notice from Discover or Capital One.

If mailing a payment or dispute document, use the address shown on your current statement or the address provided inside your secure Discover account. If your Discover account has moved to Capital One, follow the instructions provided by Capital One or use the Capital One account-management tools identified in your official notice.

Discover Bank, Deposit, and Online Banking Complaints

Discover online banking complaints may involve checking accounts, savings accounts, CDs, deposits, transfers, online banking access, identity verification, inactive accounts, technical support, or fraud alerts. Discover lists separate phone numbers and mailing addresses for online banking, technical support, account agreements, identity verification, and fraudulent activity.

Because Discover banking accounts are part of a regulated financial institution, keep detailed records of deposits, transfer confirmations, account notices, secure messages, and any phone support reference numbers. If your concern involves a missing transfer, unauthorized activity, or account access problem, contact Discover through official banking support as soon as possible.

Discover Fraud, Scam, and Unauthorized Transaction Issues

If you suspect fraud, phishing, identity theft, an unauthorized transaction, account takeover, or suspicious Discover activity, contact Discover immediately through official channels. Discover lists a phone number for reporting phishing and fraudulent activity and provides secure account tools for card and banking customers.

Be cautious with calls, texts, emails, social media messages, or search ads claiming to be from Discover, Capital One, a fraud department, or a refund department. Do not provide your password, one-time passcode, full card number, PIN, full Social Security number, bank login details, gift card numbers, wire transfers, or remote access to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly. If you are unsure whether a message is real, go directly to Discover.com, CapitalOne.com, the official app, or the number printed on the back of your card.

Discover Reviews and Complaints

Discover reviews vary by product, support route, and customer situation. Positive reviews often mention cash back rewards, no-annual-fee card options, online banking tools, mobile app access, U.S.-based support experiences, and fraud alerts. Complaints often involve billing disputes, payment posting, closed or restricted accounts, customer service wait times, credit reporting, rewards issues, account migration questions, fraud claims, and confusion over Discover’s relationship with Capital One.

If you leave a Discover review below, include the product involved, support route used, whether the issue involved a Discover Card, Discover Bank account, loan, payment, dispute, fraud claim, billing address, mailing address, corporate office, or Capital One transition notice, and whether the matter was resolved. Do not include private financial information or account details in a public comment.

Discover Unresolved Frustrating Login Issues

May 18, 2025

Discover, Website Access and Payment Issues. I’m a registered Discover cardholder, but I’m currently unable to log in to the website or make a payment. Despite multiple attempts, I’ve had no success accessing my account. The automated phone system also hasn’t helped — it doesn’t offer a way to fix login issues or connect with a representative who can assist. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when trying to make an on-time payment. Please provide a working solution as soon as possible.

Response from Corporate Office Headquarters

1. Try These Basic Fixes First

Before anything else, try: Clearing your browser cache and cookies. Using a different browser or device. Accessing Discover through the mobile app instead of the website

Sometimes temporary site issues can be browser-related. 2. Use Discover’s Mobile App. If the website isn’t working: Download the Discover Mobile App from your device’s app store. Try logging in and making a payment through the app. This often works when the website has issues 3. Call Discover Customer Service. Reach a live agent who can help resolve the login issue and take a payment over the phone if needed:

📞 Customer Service: 1-800-347-2683 Available 24/7 When prompted by the automated system, say: “Representative” or “Technical support” 4. Use the Password Recovery Tool (if login issue persists) Go to: https://www.discover.com/password-reset/ You can recover access by verifying account details even if you can’t sign in. 5. Make a Payment by Phone (If Urgent) If you’re close to your due date: Call 1-800-347-2683. Ask to make a payment by phone to avoid a late fee

Discover Fruatrating Payment Issue

February 15, 2025

Discover Credit Card Payment Address Incorrect. All our past payment billings have provided an address in North Carolina for payment address. The postal system returned the January Billing as undeliverable. We were told by corporate billing that this is not the correct address to use. But billing tab to return with our checks continues to use the Charlotte North Carolina address. This is wrong! Your company should make the appropriate changes to the monthly billing statement so that the correct address appears in the window of the return envelope. This error in documentation is the source of much frustration. Thank you!

Discover Disappointing Dispute Case Issue

November 30, 2024

Discover closed our dispute case without resolution or proper communication, leaving us frustrated and in collections. Despite initial credits for disputed charges, the case was abruptly closed, and conflicting statements from representatives only added confusion. We were advised to submit notarized transcripts of our conversations to appeal, a burdensome and unreasonable request. A team agent admitted to minimal follow-up with involved parties and relied on hearsay for her decision. Discover refused to provide critical information without a subpoena, which isn’t feasible without litigation. Their handling of this case contradicts their advertised customer protection policies and has caused significant stress.

Discover Card Corporate Headquarters

January 23, 2024

This page is not helpful!

I was looking for a contact form or email address for Discover Card’s corporate headquarters. Instead, I see this

“Chat with an expert feature” that seems to be a robot because it didn’t answer if this was a Discover Card. It even had a person’s face connected to it! Also, it was hard to write to the end of this box because a little, annoying video kept popping up!
