Ebay Is A Joke!

Omg! We ordered a back window & when we got it was damaged. I called eBay & got a human we started a complaint which expires today. The lady I spoke to told me what was going to happen & I haven’t heard a word from the seller or anyone. Says I have to have returned it by today to get a refund. Who am I returning it to? I call their customer service # the automated system just tells you to look online & hangs up on you. I was looking online for eBay corp # & no phone # seems to work. This is the most stupid & crooked setup! We’re gonna loose $250 because eBay can’t be reached. Today is Jan 5th 2024

Ebay, Buyer’s cannot leave neutral or negative feedback on cancelled orders – change in policy. I received a copy of this email sent to Sellers. “We’re reaching out to let you know that today, we’re launching an update that will simplify the order cancellation process for both sellers and buyers…You’re protected from neutral or negative feedback for any cancellation requests made through our updated process, regardless of whether you accept or decline. … In prior tests, this change resulted in a minimal increase in cancellation requests … and a notable 25% improvement in buyer satisfaction, which led to a higher likelihood of repeat purchases.”In other words, Ebay is Gagging buyers who may well have been given good cause to cancel their order. 25% increase in buyer satisfaction? Hardly. Just silencing those who blow the whistle. Ebay should be ashamed.

Got Scammed Out Of $358.61 For A Pioneer CD Player. Customer Got Refunded And Never Returned Product! Sold a Pioneer CD Player. Customer claimed Damaged/Defective. Requested return for a refund. Customer returned totally different item, Kept the CD player and received a full refund. That’s fraud and highway robbery. Customer should at least be reported to the authorities and criminal charges file for fraud. ebay is facilitating the ability of scammer to rob sellers of the items and nothing is ever done about it. Not even a response. have been with ebay for 20-years and it’s never been as bad. I believe that e-bay’s existence is very short. I’m actually shocked they are still in business. It was fun selling on e-bay but not anymore. Unless you want to risk getting ripped off by an unscrupulous buyer and get absolutely no support from ebay, stay away! You have been warned!!

eBay Is A Scammers Dream

More than half of my purchases over 15 years have been scams, including broken items, misdescribed items, pieces missing, and even just empty boxes being delivered. You can report the seller but they ignore you and let them keep selling, as long as eBay makes money they do not care what the scammers do.
