Ebay Website is misleading. The page on the Ebay website, “Selling Fees” says fees for Musical instruments is 6.35%, But when you sell any musiical instrument other that guitars and basses the charge 13.25% That is misleading. They know this and don’t care. See the snapshot.

Ebay Is A Joke!

Omg! We ordered a back window & when we got it was damaged. I called eBay & got a human we started a complaint which expires today. The lady I spoke to told me what was going to happen & I haven’t heard a word from the seller or anyone. Says I have to have returned it by today to get a refund. Who am I returning it to? I call their customer service # the automated system just tells you to look online & hangs up on you. I was looking online for eBay corp # & no phone # seems to work. This is the most stupid & crooked setup! We’re gonna loose $250 because eBay can’t be reached. Today is Jan 5th 2024

Ebay Account Suspension Issue

Ebay, I ordered over $2000.00 worth of products Ebay took my money then suspended my account 2 items never arrived. I called to ask why my account was suspended and they said they are not obligated to tell their clients why the accounts are suspended and that because my account is suspended, I am not obligated to get a refund for the products due to my account being suspended. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady I think said she didn’t have a manager I could understand her she spoke really bad English. Then she hung up on me. This is wrong of ebay to do this to the buyers. I have been calling ebay for support and no such luck. I don’t recommend ebay. Stick to Amazon they don’t plan games.

Ebay Lacks Support For Sellers

Ebay fails to protect sellers from unfair feedback. A buyer of a modestly priced piece of vintage Native American jewelry, accurately described in my listing, falsely claimed it was “fake” because it lacked a “925” hallmark—an identifier found only on more recent items. If the hallmark had been present, the item wouldn’t have been authentic. My listing included detailed, clear photos showing the item as it was. The buyer, new to eBay with little to no feedback history, clearly misunderstood vintage Native American jewelry. Instead of reaching out to discuss their concerns, they left unfair and hostile feedback without any evidence. Ebay refused to remove this false feedback, leaving me as a seller with no recourse. It’s evident Ebay prioritizes buyers over sellers, even when sellers are treated unfairly.
