No response to my letter to Electrolux headquarters regarding defective product

After getting no help from customer support, I sent a letter to Electrolux Headquarters on June 26th regarding a large scratch on my range top. I still have not used the appliance and I am waiting for some resolution from your company. To date, I have received no further communication from Electrolux on this matter.

Electrolux Reimbursement Issue

Electrolux, I bought a Frigidaire/Electrolux Air Conditioner in 6/23. It worked fine during the summer of 2023. In 2024 when I started using it again, it wouldn’t cool. Since it was still under warranty, I was sent a replacement unit. That worked for a week. I had bought a warranty from Electrolux before it died, and called them to repair or replace it. I filled out all paperwork and was assured that they received it and everything was complete. Four months later, I am still waiting for reimbursement. I’ve asked them to send a repair person, or let me exchange it at the store I bought it at, and they won’t do either. They keep promising I’ll get reimbursed with a Visa card that never arrives. And when I ask what the delay is I’m told it is being “processed by the back office”. I’m convince the warrant is a scam and advise everyone Don’t buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

Electrolux Frigidaire Refrigerator Issues

Electrolux, Frigidaire, defective refrigerator. We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator April 29 2024. The unit had to be serviced only 4 months and it has developed water leaks in several areas. I will give the customer service rep I spoke with some kudos he had a service company out in a few days and on a holiday weekend. However the technician showed up and diagnosed the following issues: 1.Leaks in the inlet & outlet lines, 2.Leak in the manifold,, 3.Leaking water valve. 4.Defect in the filter housing. We were told it will take ten days to receive the necessary parts to make the repairs. We find this unacceptable. We will now be inconvenienced for at least two weeks. I guess that isn’t so bad considering some of the other reviews I have seen. We are extremely disappointed in our choice of brand of refrigerator. We thought Frigidaire was a reliable product considering they have over a hundred year history and reputation in the refrigeration and A/C industries.

follow up on letter to corporate office regarding new range

August 21, 2023

I have not had a response to my letter dated Jun 26th. I received a new range with a large cosmetic scratch on the stovetop. I still have not used the appliance pending the resolution of this matter. I have attached a picture of the scratch and of my letter. As my letter details, I have had no assistance from your customer support. The Service representatives are only capable of giving canned responses that do not address this situation. I respectfully request you have someone with authority respond to this matter.
