Food Lion, Woman doesn’t know how to bag groceries! Store 01334 N. Coalter St Staunton Va My cashier-Ann-#204-put 2 packs of hamburger buns between 2 bottles of cooking oil in the bag. I can half way understand if she was a young high school student just starting the job but she was much older and should have had the sense not to bag them together.The $2 I saved from shop and earn was spent at another store-not a Food Lion-buying rolls that weren’t damaged.

Food Lion, Question About EBT Change Policy. Hello, I have a question regarding EBT purchases. Is it possible for Lion Food Stores not to give change in cash, and instead leave the remaining balance on the EBT card? Other stores do not give change from debit purchases, so I’m wondering if this option might be available at your store as well. Thank you!

Food Lion, Bagels; from best in class to mediocre! When I go to Ocean City Md a highlight has been to shop at food Lion because it had the best mass-produced bagels I have ever had. I bragged about them to friends and brought them home because we have only one distant Food Lion. In fact, all their bakery products are outstanding. But now they have decided to sell pre-sliced bagels instead and the texture of the bagels is completely different. Big mistake! Please bring the bagel old supplier back.

Food Lion, I will never shop at Food Lion again! On Sunday April 20, 2025 between 1300- 1450,I visited Food Lion store #0593 at 4826 Country Club Road, Winston Salem, NC. I went to the delicatessen to purchase Lunch meat. I stood at the counter for approximately 5- 10 minutes. The employee (petite young female) was on the other side of the counter. The employee did not acknowledge me or say anything to me. I waited for a few minutes with still no response. I said excuse me. The employee acknowledge me and said “you have to give me a few minutes I am busy because I am the only one working”. I waited a few more minutes with no response. The employee was putting lunch meat in the case in front of me and ignored me. I told her I will be back in approximately 5- 10 minutes. I returned to the counter. The employee was walking back and forth behind the counter. The employee then came out and placed more dated lunch meat in the bin right in front of me. The employee said nothing and ignored me again. I again asked if I could have some lunch meat. The employee ignored me again. I asked her for her name a few times and she responded, why do you want my name? She would not give her name. I asked her if she has been working there long. She responded yes a long time. I asked if she had any complaints in the past. She yes said many. There was a Male employee walking back and forth in the back room. He then came out to the counter area. I asked him if I can get some lunch meat. He responded I’m just starting work. I said ok and you can cut my lunch. He paused and the asked what I needed. I told him what lunch meat and how much. I told him he is doing his job unlike her. She then asked me if I want to speak to her manager. I told her yes. An older male came up and was smiling. I started telling him about my experience. He did not give his name. He said I will be back. She was laughing behind the counter. The manager did not return. I received my lunch from the male and I left to finish my grocery shopping. I have been shopping at Food Lion for over 30 years, and I will not return because of this incident. Thank you,
