Sixt Disappointing Experience

Sixt, Worst car rental company!!! Hands-down!!! Booked through Expedia and when I got to the airport location to get my car and after waiting for almost 2 hours in line they told me they cannot rent to me because my account is blocked. Called their customer service and they told me I need to email their security team and it will take 72 hours for someone to get back to me. Could care less that im stranded at the airport un real 🤬🤬🤬 avoid this company at all cost and save yourself the headaches.

Sixt Disappointing Experience

Sixt, I wish I could give a negative rating! My husband and I’s flight to Hawaii was delayed by 10 hours. I sent emails to Sixt to let them know of the delay and that I would still pick up the car. They only responded to one e-mail. We were supposed to arrive at 12:40pm but of no fault of hours we did not arrive until 10:30pm. I attempted to reach the branch at the airport but reached customer service that was not at the branch. I was told they closed at 11pm and there was no guarantee that they would have a car. I sent them yet another e-mail that evening and the following morning asking what I needed to do since the rental has already been paid and no response. I called Expedia who gave me great customer service. They contacted Sixt and ask if my money could be refunded. After having them place the request in writing to them they denied refunding any of my money. How can you just rip off a potential customer when their flight was delayed due to no fault of their own and they contacted you multiple times? I will be sending an official corporate complaint. At the minimum they could have refunded the remaining three days instead they stole our money. So disgusted with this company.

Sixt Washington DC Disappointing Experience

Sixt, Disabled Placard Left in Rental Car, Immediate Notification. I’m writing to report that I accidentally left my Disabled Placard in the vehicle I returned at your Washington, D.C. location. I realized it within 10–15 minutes of drop-off and immediately called to notify your office, as I was still at the airport. Despite this, I was simply told to report it online via Lost and Found, with no real assistance or concern. At the time of return, I was still checking the car when an attendant quickly told me, “You’re fine, just leave the car,” which distracted me and didn’t allow me to do a full check. I believe this contributed to me leaving the placard behind. It’s disappointing that, despite reporting it right away, I received no meaningful help. This experience has left me frustrated and unsure if I’ll use or recommend your service again.

Sixt Overcharge Issue

Sixt, Overcharges. Rented a vehicle in Rome, initially ordered the smallest vehicle available, with a total cost of under $600. After arriving, we were mistaken for another reservation. The front desk technician somehow inadvertently thought we were from France, not the USA. She processed our entire order under the other person, including our credit card. We finally corrected the mistake, but was incorrectly billed. Upon checking our credit card and realizing the mistake, I phoned the customer support team and explained the whole situation. The customer support person agreed that we were owed three different credits, we were charged for being late to return the car, which we were not, we were charged for two extra drivers and our initial deposit was never credited. This conversation was the week of August 23, 2024. It is now five weeks later, and this had not been corrected. I am willing to file a charge back with my credit card company if you are not able to correct this matter ASAP.

Sixt Worst Service Miami FL

Sixt, Congratulations to Enterprise W Dixie Miami. Had the worst ever customer experience at Sixt in W Dixie Highway Miami and left after an hour of dealing with uneducated and a manager clearly unhappy in his job watching all his staff texting friends and the customers left rotting. Walked 20 minutes to Enterprise at W Dixie Highway. A few people there but instantly spoken to by the manager who told me welcome and let me fix things for you. Night and day. Well done Enterprise and to Frank Gomez and his professional staff, you now have a new and grateful customer.
