Reach USPS Corporate Office Headquarters 

USPS, needs improvement. has some of the least expensive shipping options when compared to competition like Fedex or UPS. However, this comes at the cost of customer service. Recently, I had to send 12 printed sheets to India. I looked up USPS online and they have an excellent service called GXG which is lot lower in cost at $74.99 compared to $107.37 at UPS and $144 at Fedex. When I went to Harrisburg, PA post office located on Crooked Hill Road, the person at the counter did not even offer that option. He just handed me the international priority mail envelope, address label and custom all to fill by myself and then he left for lunch. Then I went to the next available counter. The person on the counter offered me same envelope. When I asked about GXG option, he grudgingly pulled out the envelope and gave me a different address label. Then he practically told me to clear the counter. Now contrast this with UPS. I went to UPS store. I did not have to manually fill out any form. The person on the counter filled everything for me, including customs declaration. I just signed in few places, paid, got the receipt and left. To me, this service is definitely worth $108.37. USPS should think about it. As a customer, what do I want? Envelopes and papers just thrown in my face and asked to clear the counter or full service?

USPS, No managers (i.e. Post Master) or anyone in charge running this Walterboro, SC Post Office. This will be my 3rd complaint this year in not receiving mail. Last week I did receive a call from someone apologizing for no mail delivery for a few days. She told me that this was no excuse but they were very short handed as no one wants to work anymore. That’s not my problem. Just deliver my mail please. I was to receive 2 packages on Wednesday, September 11 from Amazon to be delivered by the PO. I did receive one package but the other one stated it was “undeliverable and was being held for pickup by customer at carrier location”. My husband went to the PO on Thursday morning, waiting in the front for 15 minutes before anyone came to the front counter. He showed her the Tracking ID and she went to look for it. Apparently, the mail carrier picked it up and was going to deliver it today. He went out of his way and wasted gas driving to the PO only to find out the mail carrier was going to deliver it. This is just not acceptable anymore. Someone from the Corporate Headquarters in Washington, DC needs to make a drop in visit to the Walterboro, SC office to see what the heck is going on. I will be writing a hard copy to the Washington office. Hopefully, I will get a response.

On 31 Oct 2023, I mailed a certified letter to my credit card company in Phoenix, AZ. It took 20 days to reach the Phoenix distribution center. This is unacceptable. The supervisor at the Leavenworth, KS post office was very helpful and kept me informed on what was going on. This should not be happening with this kind of mail. It finally reached its destination on 22 Nov 2023. This needs to be looked into if you are having problems getting certified mail to your destination on time.

In June of 2023, I was on an extended vacation when I received a fraudulent activity alert from my credit card company concerning a new card that was mailed to my mailbox. The thief attempted to use the de-activated card as late as July 2023. I am also missing two packages that were delivered to my mailbox the same week as fraudulent activity on the card. I contacted both merchants and the packages were never returned to the sender, per USPS policy of mail not picked up by my recipient. I stopped at my local post office and was told to contact my postman and ask them where my packages are.

Our postal service driver DROVE INTO our house. Literally. We’ve been trying to get in touch with ANYONE to get this issue taken care of. We’ve gone to our local post office and emailed them all the information including the accident report. Absolutely NO one has responded. We’ve attempted to call over twenty times and NO ONE an answers the phone. This all happened April 12,2023. Over two months ago! We are beyond frustrated with the lack of concern and utter lack of action taken. We have clear video footage proving that our driver crashed into our house while delivering a package. We have been patient and have been waiting for USPS to take control and send anyone out to assess the damages, but legal action will most likely have to occur.

The corporate phone number is an absolute joke and gives no options for speaking to a representative about destruction of private property.
