Chrysler Disappointing Recall Issues

April 13, 2025

Chrysler, Parts not available for a recall issue! I received a letter from the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety act that stated: “FCA US LLC had decided that certain 2022 Jeep Wrangler vehicle equipped with a 3.5″ Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) failed to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVS) No.101-Controls and displays” Safety recall 30B. I called the FCA Recall Assistance center at 1-800-853-1403. The agent told me the part was available. So, I made an appointment through them and to brought my Jeep into the San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram San Diego, CA, but about an hour later I received a phone call the “mechanics” said that they did not have the part for this issue to be repaired. We went back to retrieve my 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sport S and was told that they could keep the car due to needing the latest mileage on my Jeep, before they even could order the parts or whatever to fix it. Note my instrumental panel seem to be working fine. But According to that Jeep “mechanic” it still had to be replaced. I can’t afford to leave my Jeep there waiting for some part(s) to be ordered. The mechanics can’t say when the parts would be available for the repair to be done. Could be a week, could be a month, could be a year, they can’t say. What is the problem with it anyway?

Jeep Frustrating Customer Service

March 26, 2025

Jeep, 7 weeks without my Jeep! I am so mad I don’t even know where to start! I had a transmission issue on February 4th and had to have my Jeep towed to a local dealership. Customer service contacted me immediately letting me know I could rent a car and they would reimburse me After I paid for the car upfront. I couldn’t afford that and the dealership didn’t have any loaners so I rented a car from my company. I’ve now been told that Jeep will only reimburse me for the February dates as a courtesy because my rental is not on an approved rental “list: Now I’m out almost $2000.00 for something that is not my fault. The parts the dealership keeps getting aren’t working on my 2022 Wrangler. The “Case Manager” that has been assigned to me is the Worst ever! Any updates I’ve gotten are from the dealership. I’ve been incredibly patient until now. I’m so Over Jeep customer service!

Chrysler Stateline Jeep Somerset MA Disappointing

March 22, 2025

Chrysler, Frustrating Experience with a dealership. Stateline Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 1491 Brayton Point Rd, Somerset, MA 02725 (508) 893-4186 **Frustrating Experience with a Dealership** My experience with this dealership has been a nightmare. I visited with a specific Jeep in mind about a year and four months ago, having thoroughly researched it. Initially, the salesperson was friendly, but once he realized I was knowledgeable, his demeanor shifted to condescending. During the test drive, I was limited to a short route and expressed concerns about the Jeep’s electric-to-gas transition noise. The salesperson dismissed my worries, assuring me it was normal. When discussing my trade-in, he undervalued it significantly, and after much negotiation, settled on $9,000. I felt pressured into a $4,000 down payment and unnecessary upsells for warranties totaling $4515.00. Just a month after buying the Jeep, I faced battery issues, needing service five times in total. My final visit for a tie-rod replacement found my warranty inexplicably lapsed, resulting in a $400 out-of-pocket repair instead of $2,000. Unsatisfied with neither the vehicle nor the dealership, I approached the manager with my concerns, only to be met with dismissive responses and trivialization of my knowledge as a woman. Now, I’m set to meet with the general manager to discuss a trade-in minus depreciation. If things don’t go well, I plan to report them to the BBB and file for lemon law. I want to ensure everyone is aware of this dealership and avoid buying from them. After meeting with the general manager, we could not come to a reasonable agreement. Now I’m out of $17,515.00

Dodge Ram Laramie Best truck

March 5, 2025

Dodge, Best truck I’ve ever owned! Bought my Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie on May 23rd 2000. It’s now March 4th 2025. 2 more months and I’ll have been driving it for 25 years. Amazing! It just turned 128,000 miles. She doesn’t look good and uses a little oil on long trips but other than that she’s good. Wish I could get something a bit newer but just isn’t possible on a fixed income. Money is tight these days. Hopefully it’ll last the rest of my days.

Chrysler Disappointing Recall Issue

February 24, 2025

Chrysler, Recall #24V-896 dealership will not do the recall w/o me paying and then I have to try to get reimbursed. Had issues during original warranty and the dealership said they fixed it. Fast forward and the issues continue off and on. Get a recall about the issue and take it to the dealership. Dealership said it has already been fixed even though they agree it is not working properly and said I will have to pay out of pocket and try and get Mopar to reimburse me. national recall concerning the braking system and they will not honor a Mopar recall or Mopar will not honor the recall.
