Delta, So a veteran wearing a shirt to end veteran suicide is threatening! Fire the Flight Attendant that was rude and unsupportive of our military veterans.

Delta Flight Attendant Issue

October 20, 2024

Delta, I read this about a military vet that was required to get off a plane and remove her shirt which stated…”Do not give in to the war within. End veteran suicide” — was “threatening.” What in the name of sanity is this???? – there is nothing threatening about this shirt- it is stating that there is help for mental illness. Delta Flight Attendant has a problem and not a good one! Get a grip! Delta used to be my favorite airlines and is sinking way below that level.

Delta Disappointing Customer Service

October 18, 2024

Delta, Saddened by delta airlines allowing flight attendants, to determine in their opinion, what is offensive. I do not understand why Delta Airlines does not stand behind our Veterans. So a flight attendant removed a customer from a premium ticketed seat just because the Delta employee felt that the shirt the veteran was wearing was offensive. The shirt read “do not give into the war within end the veteran suicide”. I am not sure what the employee thought this meant but many war veterans do suffer from their service and need support. The passenger in question was removed from the plane and told that she could not go on this flight wearing the shirt. The customer removed the shirt but was not given her premium seat she had paid for, but given a seat at the back of the plane. When the customer was confronted by the employee and tried to explain her service record, the employee stated she did not care about her service. If this is Delta’s position to not honor our veterans and their service, I will not fly with Delta ever again. I will also encourage My family members and my friends to do the same. Until Delta makes this right with this Bay Area veteran, this will continue to be my position going forward. What ever happened to honoring our great Country and the American’s who have served to protect the freedoms we have? Shame on you Delta for allowing this to happen! You need to make it right with this veteran and formally better train your employee’s to keep their opinions to themselves!

Delta Customer Service Issue

September 1, 2024

Delta only too eager to deplane paid passengers lately. Under separate cover to Delta Corporate Office, I am, this day, sending my shredded Skymiles Card that I no longer have any use for in solidarity with the increasing number of paid flight customers that Delta arbitrarily boots off flights lately. Good Luck with this behavior. Ex Delta Customer.
